Chapter 329 On Good Terms.

Nova’s smile froze for only a while as she saw the men since she didn’t think they were waiting for her.

But not all the women had an awareness like that. Most of the female employees joining the party were

all resisting their impulses to pounce on them upon seeing them.

After all…

Whether it was Henry or Lan, they were men one in million in their eyes, so unattainable and outstanding

in real life.

Even if there was only a glimmer of hope of getting in touch with them, they would give it a try.

Lan only was appealing enough for them, let alone Henry was also here.

Driving by their imagination, many girls started flinging themselves at Lan and Henry.

The two, turning their nose up at those amorous women, fixed their eyes on Nova steadily.

Nova got used to their studied eyes but Payne in the wake of her was grateful that he didn’t conspire with

Kelly against Nova.

The Lloyd Group finally could survive this crisis! Now, he was truly repentant about what he did to Nova

Nevertheless, not all people were as watchful as Payne. A silly flunky mistakenly believed that Henry and

Lan were here for Kelly and started fawning at Kelly in a hurry. “Oh, my Jesus Christ! It’s Mr. King and

Lan. Is he here to call for you, Miss Bush? So late at night? You must be the happiest woman in the

world!”

Kelly’s face paled slightly at those words as if it was not a compliment but a stinging slap in her face!

She knew well that Henry didn’t come to call for her but Nova. He was here to take Nova home!

With a deep breath, she had been trying to get hold of her mood and speak in a mild tone, “Bosh! It’s not

what you think.”

“Miss Bush, you don’t have to keep a low pro…”

Before she finished her words a staff behind her tugged at her sleeve to stop her, then instantly she stole

a glance at Kelly. Something is amiss. Sensing that she swallowed the rest of her word in panic.

Is she going for wool and coming home shorn now?

All of a sudden, people were mute.

Curving the corner of her lips, Nova moved her foot to leave quietly.

Payne was unwilling to lose the chance to make up to Henry. Bowing his head in respect, he greeted

them, “Mr. King, Mr. Spears, nice to meet you here.”

Henry ignored him completely but Lan smiled back. “Mr. Lloyd, good to see you again.”

Payne got cold feet at Lan’s words since there was obviously hidden meaning behind his words.

It was tricky now. Nova thought to herself. I’d better take another way out. “Nature’s call, I have to go to

the restroom, you can just go first.

I’ll go home alone in a while.”

Saying that she turned around. “Nova, I’ll be waiting for you here. It’s not safe to go home alone for you.”

Seeing that, Kelly decided to stay here in case Nova came up with something bad for herself.

“Not necessary.” Nova was impatient.

But Kelly didn’t give her more chance to refuse. Pretending amiable she spoke to the rest of the people,

“All right everybody, let’s call it a day! I’m happy to have fun with you guys today, and looking forward to

our next revelry.”

Everyone nodded in agreement but they thought differently in their heart.

Is Kelly trying to help Nova quash the rumors with Payne?

Are they really on good terms with each other?

People around all looked perplexed at the current situation.

Henry and Lan were standing in the same spot and Payne hovered nervously in the doorway. He dared

to leave Henry and Lan behind. So far so good at that time except some young girls were dreaming

something romantic and intended for some romantic accidents.
