Chapter 305 It Will Be Quite A Show

The voice behind the door was as soft as every time she talked to him.

Nova’s lips curved in a sly way when she heard Kelly’s voice. “Mr. King, are you still going to insist on

that? My cousin, who is your fiancée now, is here for our cooperation too. I think it would be too inhuman

if you turned your beloved woman off and make such a request. Why not just agree on it directly so that I

don’t have to be a third wheel? My cousin must be glad to see that.”

“How could you do that? Making use of a person who has been nice to you all the time!” Not surprisingly,

Henry was incensed by her words.

But Nova didn’t mind it at all and a smirk touched her mouth. “Just as you said before, I’m a calculating

woman who would do anything devious to achieve my goal. Not to mention that I don’t think I’m going too

far on this matter. Mr. King, I’d advise you to tough it out for my cousin’s sake.”

A piercing and burning look shot to Nova from Henry’s eyes, as if it was going to tear her into pieces.

Smiling dazzlingly, Nova took one or two steps away from him.

She was keeping a proper distance from him in order to show Kelly that they didn’t overstep the line.

“Henry?”

Out of the office, Kelly spoke again as she didn’t get an answer.

Henry cast a glare at Nova as if warning her to keep her mouth tight. Then, he said, voice much softer,

“Come in.” The door was then opened.

Nova raised her head and saw Kelly being pushed into a wheelchair by her assistant Cassie.

Kelly smiled at Cassie and said, “Wait for me outside. I can go in by myself.”

“Okay, Miss Bush.”

Nova walked behind Kelly and looked at her cousin somewhat sadly. But she soon said smilingly, “Kelly,

are you worrying about me?”

Nova sounded as if she was cracking a joke, but Kelly could feel clearly the sarcasm and displeasure in

Nova’s words.

Kelly sneered. Nova deliberately angered her this day, and she would definitely not allow Nova to do as

she wish.

Today, Nova texted her. That’s why she came up from the Bush Group without any delay.

Good Kelly, I’m in my ex’s office. He invited me! Do you think you have won? He has only me in his

heart. Even if I am ditching him, I would not let you be with him!

Kelly was busy with her work when she saw the message, then she immediately rushed over putting

aside her work.

“Of course, I should take care of you, you are not familiar enough with the group business now and as

your cousin, I have a moral responsibility to help you adapt to our company.” Kelly assumed an air of

concern. Finishing one or two of her tasks came as no surprise to Kelly for she knew that Nova had the

real thing. Nova didn’t answer but just pushed Kelly closer to Henry, who witnessed every move of the

cousins with his mouth shut tightly, looking even more cross. Kelly was secretly delighted to find that.

She thought that it must be Nova’s presence that irritated him.

However, she acted the other way around with her true self. “Am… am I intruding you?” She pretended

to be remorseful.

Nova standing behind her paid no attention to Kelly’s act, on the contrary, her mouth curved into a tilt that

people had learned to recognize as provocation when she looked straight at Henry.

The fish is biting now. Nova thought to herself. Now that Kelly had claimed that she would do all she can

to assist Nova, she had to make herself useful, at least with some concrete help, to carry out her words.

As for Henry, who owed Kelly a lot, she didn’t mind that he repaid Kelly with this wedding case. All things

considered, Kelly’s appearance benefited her and her case with the King Group since she could

accomplish one of her tasks without accepting those ridiculous conditions.

And, Nova was certain that he wouldn’t make those absurd demands totally without scrupling when Kelly

was here because he wouldn’t risk Kelly’s trust for her.

So. It will be quite a show with them. Nova almost lost her control and laughed out loud as she thought.
