“Chester, why do you…” Nova turned back to look at him with a pair of wondering eyes.

“It would be faster and more convenient for you with my car.” Against all Nova’s expectations, Chester

didn’t come out to keep her or ask what she was going to do.

Watching his smiling face intently, Nova felt her heart bit by guilty and gratitude. “Thank you for that, but I

I’d better go there by taxi.” Chester was right, but she couldn’t risk her case if Henry knew that it was

Chester driving her there.

With another thank you, Nova got in the taxi.

“King’s Group please.” She said while she was closing the door.

“Okay, Miss Bush.”

The taxi then sped away among Chester’s gaze.

He stood still for a little bit longer after Nova left, as though pinned in place by something.

If his suspicion serves him right, Henry must see the top trending about him and Nova on Twitter, that’s

the reason why he wants Nova so anxiously.

What’s the point then? Chetser snorted and left.

Within half an hour, Nova did reach the King’s Group as Henry’s requirement.

But Nova would never know that Henry was intentionally asking that for he had calculated how long it

take from the Hotpot restaurant to King’s Group.

At this moment, Nova had been at the doorway of Henry’s office in the company of Evan.

“Mr. King, Miss Bush is here to meet you.”

Nova stood behind him, looked down at the ground, and deadpanned.

“Come.in.” The voice in the office was as cold as ever.

Evan then opened the door for Nova and before she walked into the office, she saw the man sitting at

the desk,

who looked like being busy with his business.

His angular face was aggressive and callous to see for some reason unknown to Nova.

Evan showed no surprise at it for he had long been used to Henry’s temperament. “After you, Miss

Bush.” He was unperturbed.

Nova made a brief nod, walked into the room, and the door behind was closed.

There were only two of them now.

Henry didn’t even raise his head while Nova walking in. Obviously, he had no intention to speak with her.

The realization that he was just being difficult sank into her when she took the hint that meeting with her

didn’t amount to a solid cooperation with her.

Thereupon she headed for the couch in his office, slumped in a slow and natural manner, and started to

play with her cell phone.

Strange to say.

They had never had such a leisure period to stay in the same room peacefully like this before. There

were more irony and disdain between them even if they sat face to face.

Nova tried not to think about it and spent her time on Twitter.

Of a sudden, her face scrunched when she saw the top trending hashtag of the day. Jesus Christ! Why

does the hotpot dinner make her and Chester another trending topic?

A slight frown crept up her face. It was obvious that she was displeased.

It had flooded the screen for a long time, which meant that she couldn’t remove it from Twitter

unobtrusively, otherwise, things would go out of hand.

All right, it was not going to make the whole thing any more terrible at least. But she would know that she

had it wrong if she had seen the countless comments below the post.
