Chapter 288 A Grand Welcome

Along the way, Nova kept frowning as if she were thinking about something. And her emotions did not

recover until she arrived at the entrance of the company. Of course, she did not recover automatically but

forced herself to look calm.

When she was about to call Kelly, the latter suddenly said in a soft voice from behind, “Nova, good

morning.” When Nova turned her head back, she saw Kelly smiling at her in a wheelchair.

And a female secretary was wheeling her over.

Nova nodded, “Uncle Baron said you are working with an injury. Why don’t you stay in the hospital until

you fully recover?”

Kelly chuckled and shook her head, “It is just a minor injury. Besides, I still have a lot of work to do, so I

can’t stay in the hospital. Let’s go! I’ll show you your working environment.”

A hint of sarcasm flashed across Nova’s eyes because she knew the relapse was fake. Kelly had done

this to let people know she had continued to work despite her injury. She wanted to build up a tough and

responsible

public persona.

After Nova nodded in silence, the secretary wheeled Kelly forward.

When the employees saw Kelly, they all greeted her warmly.

“Ms. Bush, good morning!”

“Ms. Bush, here you come!”

Hearing their words, Nova knew none of them was greeting her.

you look like. I will introduce you to everyone in your department, but you must not…”

While speaking, she suddenly laughed, “Look at me! I should not have tried to give you advice. You are

Nova raised her eyebrows and glanced at the secretary who was looking at Kelly with admiration from

behind. It seemed this secretary was not her confidant. Otherwise, Kelly would not have pretended to be

Kara, the manager of the department, was waiting at the door. Seeing Kelly, she stepped forward and

Kara looked at Nova and nodded at her, saying, “Ms. Bush, nice to meet you.”

“Let’s go in.”

Hearing Kelly’s words, the secretary wheeled her forward, and Kara soon followed up, while Nova went

The space of the department was about one hundred square meters. There were three rows of desks,

and each horizontal line had four computers. Every two employees sat face to face. And every group had
