Chapter 285 That’s What He Really Wants!

People present widened their eyes for an instant simultaneously.

According to Nova’s statement, the amount of money involved in the case was 0.4 billion.

But if she asked for ten times the compensation, the amount of it would be 4 billion! Four! Billion!

Ben Lee landed a gaze at Nova in disbelief.

Even he did not anticipate that she would claim such a large sum of money!

And he really doubted that could it be possible in the view of the Judge!

What came to his mind next was a strong wave of regret. He even could feel that his heart was bleeding

for the loss of money! If he knew that Zona was a close friend of Nova, he wouldn’t definitely make things

hard on her! In that case, the 4–billion compensation would be his!

Zona was also shocked at Nova’s demand, but the next moment the surprise of immense wealth took her

totally! Unbelievable! How could Nova be so awesome?

He erupted into fury at Nova’s words at once!

He would have smirked unpleasantly and called it just wishful thinking but for Nova! The invincible lawyer

need a draft of her statement! All the evidence had been handed up to the Judge, which meant that she

had mentally written what she said in court previously!

As for the lawyer of Rex, was red on his face. He could not counter any of Nova’s points though he

victory was in his bag before the trial!

With a glance at Rex’s defense lawyer, Nova finished her statement.

“Defendant may be open to the floor now!” The Judge said with a nod at Nova.

Rex shot his lawyer a reassuring look and said under his breath, “I know we are doomed to failure this

time, but you have to do your best to reduce our losses! That’s all I ask of you about this lawsuit, Just do

whatever you

can!”

The lawyer gave a sigh of relief before he nodded hurriedly and then started his statement. “Objection!”

What followed was his arguments of objection.

To be honest, the lawyer did do his stuff and his arguments indeed are arguments. However…

His arguments did not hit the nail on the head and were turned down by Nova one by one. Ben, though

lost a large sum of money as well, was floating on air.

Actually, he didn’t really take the 4 billion bucks seriously. What he valued was the personal relationship

with

Nova connected through today’s lawsuit. He wanted to take advantage of Nova’s prestige to ensure the

safety of his business in the future.

As somebody in the business field, he got his own unique and irreplaceable strength, which was coveted

by the insatiable trade. Ben had borne it for a long time and now, with the influence of Nova, he didn’t

Zona was still in the public gallery. There was a bright light shining in her beautiful eyes.

Judging from her expression, she must be thinking of the whopping compensation.

Nova smiled back, exuding an air of relaxed calm. “You’re quite welcome. Though the compensation is

not for

you this time, I’d be happy to oblige whenever you need.”

Ben was pleased to hear that! That’s what he really wants!

4 billion dollars for a legal big shot in the world is definitely a square deal!

They walked out of the court as they chat. Rex followed them all the way out with a murderous look in his
