Chapter 179
Sorry ex You'll Never Win Me Back
Chapter 179 No Longer Restricted
Viola just uttered few words. She had countless words full of her tender feelings that she wanted to tell
this
man named Rory, but at last, she chose to swallow them and only uttered those simple emotionless
words. Rory nodded in smiles. âIâll walk you inside.â
âThat would be troublesome. Youâve sent me to the gate. I canât trouble you more? Itâs late. Go home
early and
rest early.â
Rory didnât force it. He nodded, and, after making sure that Viola had entered her home, he told the
chauffeur
to drive.
When Viola looked at lighting of Roryâs car fading away, she felt her heart broken.
Rory was such a heartâwarming person. If only he was willing to like her⦠and she would spend this life
and
her afterlife together with him.
Nova didnât have a crush on Rory at all. And Nova had been hurt by love, and she became more
reluctant to
love. Was Rory going to protect Nova for the rest of his life without paying back?
More tears welled up in her eyes.
Violaâs mother, Mrs. Bull, came downstairs and found her daughter standing blankly at the entrance of
the
living room, and sobbing. She approached Viola in puzzlement and asked, âViola, whatâs the matter?â
Viola came back to herself and hurriedly wiped her tears away. âIâm fine. I feel tired. Iâm going to bed.â
Mrs. Bull hurriedly grabbed her arms only to find her still crying. Violaâs mother asked with concern,
âWhatâs
the matter with you? Were you bullied? What did you do tonight?â
Though she heartlessly forced Viola to marry Warner, she couldnât watch her daughter crying.
Viola took a breath. She pulled a long face and broke free from Mrs. Bullâs grip. âIâm fine. I am not bullied.
Donât
you worry about me.â
Then, she walked straight towards her room..
âViola!â Mrs. Bull caught up with her and asked again, âAre you bullied by men?â
Mrs. Bull couldnât help and asked what was puzzling her. Viola looked at her mother in shock and asked,
âSo
you were worrying that I had sex with other men?â
Mrs. Bullâs face became pale. Mrs. Bull then said helplessly, âWeâre openâminded and I wonât judge that.
But
you are a girl. You need to cherish your chastity. Such things would only bring shame to the girls.â
Viola felt her motherâs words ridiculous. âBring shame on me?â
Mrs. Bullâs expression changed, and Viola satirized again, âWhen you asked me to marry that scum,
have you considered my happiness, my shame?â
âYouâ¦â Mrs. Bull suppressed her anger, and tried to explain, âI didnât know he was such a scumbag! His
disguise was perfect. You fatherâ¦â
Mrs. Bull stopped abruptly as if she didnât want to bring Mr. Bull in and make Viola bear resentment to
him as
well.
However, Viola knew everything in it. She just said, âAlright, enough waste of breath on that bullshit. I
wonât have my life manipulated by you. I wonât listen to you in the future!â
Then, she went back to her room and slammed the door shut.
Mrs. Bull was exasperated, and she roared, âViola Bull! Youâre a grown woman! And youâre still making a
scene
like youâre a little girl. You think you enjoyed the wealth and honor of the Bull for nothing? You are a Bull.
You
have to sacrifice for the Bull! Thatâs your duty!â
More tears welled up in Violaâs eyes.
At this moment, she wanted to be like Zona. She felt Zonaâs way of life perfect.
Zona chose to sever her relationship with her family so that she was no longer restricted by her family.
But Viola herselfâ¦
Viola took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She would look for a place to live tomorrow.
Viola didnât sleep soundly this night. And so was Nova. They were both troubled by their loads in their
minds. Nova slept disjointedly, and she didnât get up until her alarm clock rang. She needed to go to
Mabel this day.
