Chapter 127
Sorry ex You'll Never Win Me Back
Chapter 127 How Dare You Come
Nova and Mabel looked towards the door at the same time. When the comer saw Nova, she showed
disdain on
her face.
âHow dare you come!â Sianâs voice was full of anger. She didnât show any respect or courtesy to Nova.
Novaâs eyesight froze, and she didnât retort.
No matter what, Sian was a senior. Her retort would only embarrass Mabel.
She had to take grandmaâs feelings into consideration. She couldnât let grandma see her quarreling with
grandmaâs daughterâinâlaw even though she knew that grandma was partial to her. That would only
aggravate the conflicts between Sian and Mabel.
Mabel darkened her face. âSian!â
Sian was in helpless rage. âMabe. You know what Nova Bush did. She put the King Family Group into
crisis
several times, and she even colluded with our enemies! Why are you still treating her as your baby
grandchild?
She doesnât deserve your preference!â
Nova raised her head and looked at Sian. Her eyes were full of sarcasm.
If they didnât corner Nova, Nova wouldnât have fought back.
And if it werenât for Novaâs gratitude to Mabel and Baldwin, she would have avenged more fiercely.
When she and Henry divorced, she could have described how Henry treated her in these years to the
public
through the internet. She could make sure that the Kingâs Family Group wouldnât win that contract.
She could have made the compensation go several times beyond ten billion dollars, but she showed her
mercy.
However, the Kings took her mercy as her inability.
Mabel sneered, âDeserve? Do you think who deserves it? Youâre my daughterâinâlaw indeed. But, have
you ever
really treated me as your motherâinâlaw for a single day? But Nova bore the burden of the family, of me,
for all
her years as a King. You think you have worked as half hard as she did?â
âMabel, youâ¦â Sian didnât know how to refute it. But she then sneered, âThatâs her window dressing!
What I
did might be imperceptible, but my efforts were real efforts!â
âHahaâ¦â Mabel laughed in disdain. âThen tell me one thing that I donât know.â
Sian racked her brain, but she couldnât speak a thing.
It was true that, after she married into the King, she only pursued her own interest. Mabel was gentle and
kind
and wasnât too concerned for Sianâs selfish doings. Sian, however, gradually stopped taking Mabel
seriously.
Nova held Mabelâs hands and said to Mabel, âGrandma, you donât have to argue for me. I have clear
conscience.
for everything I do. I will listen to you and Mr. Baldwin. But I wonât take othersâ nonsense to heart.â
Sian had been angry, and Novaâs words make her angrier.
âNova Bush! You think youâre so noble for what youâve done? You fought against the Kingâs Family
Group, and
everyone on the internet was calling your names. You still think you are not wrong?â
Nova sniggered. âIf Mrs. King thinks I am wrong, then I am.â
She didnât say so to retort Sian. She just spoke from her heart. What others said wouldnât make who she
was,
and had nothing to do with her.
Mabel looked at Nova in surprise. She didnât expect Nova to be so largeâminded.
Mabel had thought that Nova put up with that for Henry. But, now it seemed that she really didnât care.
Mabel held Novaâs hand and said, âGood girl. You never disappointed grandma!â
Sian was rendered speechless.
