Chapter 6
LUCIFER
Religious poems
Little star, your shining light,
Can't be seen with naked sight.
I wonder why God, so unkind,
Was cruel to you, I still can't find.
Little star, my friend so true,
I don't know what to say to you,
For anything I speak or tell,
Would seem so small, I know too well.
Once I had a lover dear,
But ice so sharp turned him to fear,
A statue now he stands alone,
In a cold world, far from home.
The air is cold, life won't arise,
Defeated, with no more ties,
Between my fingers, ice will flow,
A finger of ice begins to go.
I fall to silence, and I cease,
As all around, there's no release.
