Chapter 10
THE DREAMER
Religious poems
Little dreamer, look from high,
Through your window to the sky.
Don't spy on me behind the screen,
For you, it's a forest, deep and green.
Tropical, weeping, full of grace,
Feeding on dew in its hidden place.
Wonderful dreamer, so pure,
Tell me the way, the route to secure.
How do you see the world around?
What's the secret you've found?
My little Dante, so full of light,
My Mozart, my da Vinci in flight,
Work and strive, with all your might,
To show the others how to take flight,
To be as free as you, my friend,
Until the very journey's end.
