Chapter 21

Park

Frontman's Love (Season 1 & 2)

1 day before Hallowen.

Today was the last day before leaving for the mysterious gaming island. There was a lot to do today. Right after getting up, I took out my planner and looked at the to-do list for today.

Task List-October 30:

-Take Min-ho to my brother,

-Pack for the island,

-Call Vera and tell her that I am going on vacation where there will be no internet,

-Pick up the parcel from the parcel locker,

-Meet the Salesman and make sure Gi-hun doesn't kill him,

-Give spare keys to parents,

-Record a facial cream ad.

I made cereal for breakfast for my child, which he loved. I went to wake him up and he quickly ran to the kitchen to eat breakfast quickly. When he found out that he was going to visit his uncle the traveler for a week, he couldn't wait. He adored him terribly, but they rarely saw each other because of my brother's travels.

-When are we going to my uncle's?- asked Min-ho stirring in a bowl of milk.

-When you eat and I'll take care of you, darling- I replied, putting on make-up next to him. When I finished, I started to hide cosmetics in the carrier for them and I felt two men's hands squeezing me tightly and lips caressing my neck-In-ho I'm in a hurry.

-I'll drive him, you record an advertisement- he said and brushed our son's hair.

-I already have it recorded, but I have to mess it up well, and I don't want to give you more tasks, you already have a lot of them- I noticed, but the man only waved his hand.

-So what? I won't see my son all week, so I have to take him," he said and poured himself a glass of orange juice.

-Uhm, okay, I'll write you Chris's address on the mess and I'm going to get dressed-I said and went to the bedroom and my husband followed me-Sama-I added and closed the door in his face. He banged his head on the door and we could hear our son's laughter throughout the apartment. When I left the bedroom dressed in a pink sweater and black baggy pants, my husband was tying Min-ho's shoes as he rocked to Ariana Grande's latest song.

-Help you?- I asked, seeing that he was not doing well.

-Yes, these shoes are a nightmare- he said and we switched. After tying it, I put a jacket on the boy, tied a scarf and put a hat on his black hair. He was ready to leave. I wanted to cry knowing that he was convinced that his parents were going on vacation, but in fact to an island where 455 innocent people would die.

-Mommy loves you very much, remember that- I said and kissed him on the forehead and he cuddled my body. Hugging this little body is my mainstay, I don't know how I'll manage a week without it.

"And I love Mommy," Min-ho said and kissed me on the tip of my nose. I said goodbye to In-ho because we will see each other in the evening and I closed the door behind my favorite men. I loved how similar they were in appearance and how different they were in clothing. In-ho wore a brown coat and a black scarf, while Min-ho wore a spider-man jacket, a red scarf, and a gray hat, and they held hands. I couldn't be happier.

After an hour, I left the apartment and went to one of the kiosks in the city center, where I was supposed to meet the Salesman. I parked it on the side and while I was waiting for it, I started posting a review of the cream on my social media. I was scared when a man knocked on the window, but it turned out to be a friend of my husband. I breathed a sigh of relief and unlocked the car so that he could enter. He went to the trump machine and put two large paper bags and his black briefcase there, then closed the back of the car and sat next to me in the passenger seat.

-Why do you need so many bags?- I asked, fastening my seatbelt.

-In one I have 100 rolls and in the other 100 scratch cards. Take me to the park, please," he said, and I did as we drove there, because we had 20 minutes to go, I put on a random playlist and it started playing-Seriously, Sabrina Carpenter? Didn't you have better ones?

-I'm sorry, Mr. Grumpy, but I love her- I said and turned right.

-I see... Will you be on the island?

-Yes... Min-ho was taken to my brother's so we wouldn't worry, although I'm afraid you met Chris at the wedding and you know what he's like.

-Chris? Is that the one who danced on the table?

-No, no, no, not the one dancing on the table, it's Simon, my younger brother, Chris is the one who hit on the waitress, I explained, and the man understood what I was talking about.

-You have strange brothers.

-I know you don't have to remind me-I said and parked in front of the park-Shall we come with you?

-And do you want to see all those people on benches or on the ground choosing a scratch card and losing, which makes them waste rolls?

-I can go and I don't have anything better to do anyway, and I don't want you to be killed, Gi-hun-I said and we got out of the car. I opened the trunk and took out a bag with scratch cards, and the man took the bag with rolls and closed the back of my car-Folder, don't you take it?-I asked when we entered the park.

"I don't need it now," he said and explained the trivial plan to me. We were supposed to go up to people and ask them what they wanted, but I have to choose one thing: when they take a scratch card, we give them a coin to scratch off, which they have to give back later. Most of them chose scratch cards from me in the same way as from Salesman.

-Only two people took the rolls, and at your place?- I asked when we stood in front of the gazebo.

-You're better anyway, because I have one- he said and threw the rolls on the ground, and I followed him, not knowing what he wanted to do. Then he threw the rolls out of the bag-Will you move away, please?

-Sure, but what do you want to do?- I asked, taking two steps back.

-You'll see- he said and winked at me. He called the people around him and started jumping on the rolls like on a trampoline. I stood in shock, not knowing what to say, let alone do. Did he spend a lot of money to jump on them later? It was beyond belief.

-Why did you throw them away? They were good for eating," said one of the people I asked what they preferred, but he chose a scratch card. My friend tucked his tie under his jacket and straightened his hair, then spoke to the crowd.

-It was not me who threw it away, it was you who did it! We gave you a choice of a scratch card or a sandwich, almost everyone took a scratch card. You threw them away! It's because of you that they were wasted!- he said, and I looked at the bench where some men were sitting, when they saw me, they covered themselves with newspapers. They couldn't be my fans. I remembered that Gi-hun wanted to reach Salesman and In-ho. After my companion finished speaking and we headed to the car, I decided to tell the truth.

-Gong...- I started starting the engine.

-Oh, you're talking to me by my real name, I'm bollocks?

-No, but... I saw two men looking at us, and when I caught them, they covered themselves with newspapers. I think it's the Gi-hun people. Let's go to my place, because something could happen to you," I said, and the man nodded, throwing a piece of paper with the address out the window. I preferred not to ask what it was and went to the apartment to save my friend.

We entered the apartment, leaving our shoes and hanging up my coat in the hallway. I went to the kitchen and the Salesman, after washing his hands, went to the living room and fell on the couch.

-What do you want to drink? coffee? tea? smoothie?

-Do you have something stronger?- he asked and I took the brandy out of the bar and poured it into a glass for a man and took the smothie that was in my fridge. I handed the glass to the man and sat next to him, turning on some random channel on the TV.

-What time do we have to get up tomorrow?- I asked, looking at the phone.

-Knowing In-ho he will want to be there as soon as possible, so I bet on 5 or 6 in the morning.

-My biological clock is going to break great- I muttered and set my alarm for 5.

-What do we do when we drink?- he asked and took another sip of brandy.

-I have to take the keys to the apartment to my parents to take care of the cat. Chris is allergic and couldn't take it – I hurried with his question and he nodded. We sat quietly drinking our drinks until the doorbell rang. We both looked at each other, confused, not knowing who was beating each other.

-Did you invite anyone? Because I don't," he said in shock.

"Not either," I said and put the bottle on the table. I got up from the couch and went to the door to check through the peephole who was hitting and I was terrified to see them. I returned to the living room with horror in my eyes.

-Who is it?- asked the already confident Salesman.

-These are the same guys who followed us in the park - I explained and the man lost this confidence for a moment, but after a while he regained it.

-Open the door for them and don't show them that you saw them before, I'll hide and come out of the hiding place at the right time if they don't want to come out.

-Are you sure of your plan?- I asked quietly as Gong took his pistol out of his pocket and went to hide behind the bathroom door.

-I'm more confident than ever before. Trust me, Beverly, I know what I'm doing," he replied and closed the door, and I walked over to the main ones, pretending to be a fake smile, which I have done to perfection, and we started working.
