“But this project is so important. Are you sure that we should hand it to the Stewart family?” Willow asked with surprise.

“That’s right. Mr. Lynch has made arrangements to give your father full authority to handle. the project!” Miranda said.

Willow was once again dumbfounded. “Why? Mr. Lynch is probably not close with my father, isn’t he?”

“I don’t exactly know why either. Perhaps he thinks that Carl would be able to execute the project well.” Miranda simply found an excuse for that.

“That’s great! He certainly would be able to handle this project amazingly!” Willow was so excited that she couldn’t speak properly.

She knew too well about her father’s current situation. He had been ignored by everyone in the Stewart family in recent years. The Stewart Group was always managed by her uncle, Donald, instead. If Carl could work on such an important project, his status in the family would surely

rise.

“You can tell him to come over and go through the formalities then,” Miranda said.

“Okay, I’ll call him right away to tell him about the good news.” As Willow spoke, she pulled out her phone.

“Willow, what’s up?” Seeing that he got a call from his daughter, Carl answered it immediately and asked.

“Dad, the president of Southlake Corporation has decided to hand over a project to the Stewart Group. Also, they’re giving you full authority to work on this project!”

“Me?” Carl said with shock.

“Yeah, the CEO specifically said to let you handle the project,” Willow repeated.

“That’s strange. I don’t think I know the CEO of Southlake Corporation,” Carl asked in confusion.

“You shouldn’t worry about that for now. Just come over and go through the formalities. This isn’t a small project!” Willow was over the moon.

“Alright, I’ll come over now,” Carl said.

“After you enter our company building, come to my office right away,” Willow said.

“Okay.” Carl ended the call and rushed to Southlake Corporation’s company building as soon as he could.
