Lord Chapter 497
The Almighty Lord Caspian
Chapter 497 Time Bomb
Willow seemed to recall that Caspian had, in fact, told her that before.
However, back then, both Zoey and her thought that Caspian was just messing with them.
She would never have imagined that someone of such prestige would be interested in her.
Could it be that Caspian was really the Diatoran God of War?
âBut if heâs the Diatoran God of War, why would he want to be with me?â Willow was dubious.
âItâs the power of love!â Zoey said excitedly.
âIf he really is the Diatoran God of War, how could he have accepted being wronged when we were getting mistreated at the Stewartsâ residence?â Willow remained doubtful.
âIt must be because of love. If he really isnât the Diatoran God of War, there wouldnât have been such a grand wedding procession with the military involved. Ordinary people wouldnât have been able to do that.
âEven the senior general, John Anderson, attended the wedding personally. Why would such a highâranking officer attend a general officerâs wedding ceremony?â Zoey explained.
Willow nodded unknowingly. Zoeyâs words were starting to make sense.
âRemember that incident at the Cliff of Death where the military unit was dispatched? Only the Diatoran God of War can mobilize so many soldiers and horses,â Zoey said as she recalled another incident.
The more Zoey spoke, the more Willow was convinced that Caspian was the Diatoran God of War. Suddenly, everything that did not make sense was starting to fall into place.
âIâm going to have to stop you for a while, Zoey. Iâm getting dizzy,â Willowâs chest rose and fell. If her husband was really the Diatoran God of War, it meant that Caspian held one of the highest positions where he was second only to the King.
âIâm so envious, Willow! I canât believe youâre the wife of the Diatoran God of War!â Zoey said emotionally.
Meanwhile, Macy and the others were in the middle of a fierce battle.
Three armored soldiers had been shot.
âTake them into the room in case they get shot again!â Macy ordered.
The situation was not favorable to them.

All the enemies on the first floor had already been eliminated. They had to move on to the second floor to defeat the remaining enemies.
The armored soldiers heeded Macyâs order and began transporting their wounded teammates
into the room.
Macy covered them as they hauled the injured soldiers into the room.
Then, she sprinted up the stairs. She was going to eliminate the enemies on the second floor.
It was fortunate that Macy reacted swiftly. Otherwise, they would have died the moment they entered the villa.
It was at this time that Sylvia rushed inside the villa with a few other armored soldiers.
As soon as they entered, they heard gunshots coming from the second floor.
Sylvia immediately led the men up the stairs.
More enemies were hidden on the second floor, and Macyâs gun was out of ammunition.
It was at that critical moment when Sylvia suddenly showed up.
Gunshots were accompanied by screams that came and went. Sylvia and her team opened fire immediately, defeating the enemies victoriously.
With everyone working together, all the enemies in the villa were eliminated.
Blood filled the air of the entire villa.
They counted the numbers of the enemies. There were around 70 to 80 of them.
âThank god for your sixth sense, Macy. Otherwise, it wouldâve been really dangerous,â Sylvia
said.
âThatâs true. So, how are you going to thank me?â Macy said smugly.
âIn your dreams, Macy. We havenât even talked about how you impersonated the God of Warâs wife. Youâre really fearless, arenât you?â Sylvia chided her.
âIf you hadnât given it away, you think Iâd have to do the impersonation?â Macy argued, not backing down.
âWeâll see how Caspian deals with you when he returns,â Sylvia countered.
Then, everyone worked together to help carry the injured armored soldiers out of the villa.
In order to protect Willow, dozens of people were seriously injured.
It was at that moment when an enemy lying on the ground gathered his final strength to take a device out of his pocket. He pressed a button on it.

Suddenly, beeping sounds could be heard.
âShit! Thereâs a time bomb!â Macy was the first to hear the beeping sound.
âWhere is it?â Sylvia asked urgently.
âOn the second floor!â Macy said before sprinting up the stairs without a momentâs hesitation.
âI need some of you to follow me upstairs!â Sylvia ordered.
If the bomb went off in the villa, there would be many casualties.
The injured armored soldiers had not left the villa.
Macy followed the beeping sound and was guided into Caspian and Willowâs bedroom.
In a short amount of time, she managed to locate the bomb.
The bomb had been hidden inside the closet. When she opened the door to the closet, there were only 20 seconds left on the countdown timer.
It would be impossible to defuse the bomb within that short period of time.
With such a short countdown, she realized that the enemy troops had no intention of leaving
at all!
âEveryone, retreat! Itâll explode in less than 20 seconds!â Macy shouted loudly.
She picked up the bomb and jumped out of the window. She wanted to get the bomb as far away as possible.
The armored soldiers were all shocked to see what Macy was doing.
With the bomb in her arms, she was in grave danger.
Nob*dy dared to follow her. They could only rush back downstairs.
Sylvia became nervous as well. She hoped that Macy could make it out alive.
Willow and Zoey were also shocked to see Macy jump out from the window of the second floor. They still had no idea what was going on.
As soon as she landed, she sprinted toward the riverside behind the villa like a mad person.
âWhatâs going on with her?â Zoey asked, perplexed.
Willow was not sure either. They could not see that she was carrying a bomb in her hands.
âLetâs head into the villa and see whatâs going on,â Willow said in a concerned tone.

As they were getting ready to get out of the car, Macy had already reached the riverside.
A loud bang rattled the entire place.
The blast made a huge splash over ten meters high on the surface of the river.
Both Willow and Zoey were startled by the loud bang.
When the armored soldiers heard the explosion, they became disheartened.
It would have been impossible for Macy to distance herself from the bomb within that short
time frame.
She only had less than 20 seconds left. There was no chance of survival.
Sylvia and the others ran toward the riverside behind the villa.
âWhat happened?â Zoey asked in a daze.
âDid Macy run out with a bomb in her hands?â Willow seemed to have figured it out.
âWhat? Does that mean she might have gotten killed?â Zoey exclaimed.
âIâm not sure either. Letâs go and have a look!â Willow was extremely nervous.
If Macy died, she would have to live with this guilt for the rest of her life.
If it were not for Macy, the person killed by the bomb would have been her.
When everyone gathered by the riverside, nob*dy saw any traces of her.
âMacy!â
âCaptain Osborne!â Sylvia and the armored soldiers yelled as they searched for her. Tears had
welled up in their eyes.
Could it be that Macy had really died?
