Chapter 25

Savanna's POV

Over the course of the week people have been bustling around, arranging things, ordering everything, and pretty much planning what is essentially my wedding. I helped and gave some ideas here and there or out right refused some of the suggestions given by others but the whole process was exhausting and I was glad I didn't actually have to do the work.

Nikolai was also exhausted from all the meetings and the running around. We just finished our third meeting for the day, we had to decide if we would go more human traditional or werewolf traditional for the vows, and we were finally on our way home.

"I can't believe the ceremony is tomorrow! I'm so excited" I climbed in the bed snuggling under the blankets and scooting close to Nikolai.

"I can't wait to put my mark on you." Nikolai's arms wrapped around me and held me tightly.

The beat of his heart and the rhythmic breathing eventually calmed my excitement and I fell asleep.

The next day we were rushed through our breakfast and I almost didn't have enough time to kiss Nikolai before we were taken to different rooms. Madison and Valerie were here setting up their stuff on a corner of the room and Lexie was carrying what looked to be the bag containing my dress.

They sent me to the bathroom to wash my face and take care of other hygiene steps, like moisturizing and such. After I came out I was pushed into a chair and the two girls set to work on getting me ready.

My hair was slightly curled and then Valerie made it up into a fancy updo with some hairs hanging. She made sure they were curled perfectly and applied a little bit of hairspray to make sure it would hold.

She took out a beautiful and intricate looking hair piece with little diamonds and pearls and placed it on my hair carefully. I was in awe of how beautiful my hair looked.

Madison took care of my makeup and she kept it light and minimal with just the basics and lipgloss. She did add some black eyeshadow lightly to make my eyes pop a little more. After spraying me with setting spray they started picking up their stuff and I waved at them thanking them repeatedly as they left the room.

Lexie came in then, the girls probably announcing that they were done, and she let out a little gasp when she saw me.

"You look absolutely amazing, Savanna! Nik is gonna flip when he sees you." she giggled with mischief in her eyes and I couldn't help but join her.

"Thank you Lexie! The girls did an amazing job." I was starting to get nervous now.

"Don't worry everything is going to be fine. Gloria is bringing you a light lunch so you can eat before getting into your dress. Then you'll go sing the legal papers so you and Nik can be joined according to the human traditions. After that we'll have dinner with the pack, proceed to the ceremony for you to accept your place as Luna, and lastly complete the mating ritual with Nik."

I was starting to feel overwhelmed by everything Lexie was saying and my hands were getting a little sweaty. I could tell that if I didn't get a handle on my emotions I would drop. I tried taking deep soothing breaths and I was so relieved when Gloria came in interrupting something Lexie was in the middle of saying that I was too zoned out to even listen to.

"Hey, I brought you some lunch." she set a tray on the table and looked me over "You look very beautiful. Are you feeling ok?"

"Yeah, just a little nervous." I smiled gratefully and sat down opening up the tray to see mac'n'cheese and some chicken tenders.

"Would you like me to bring you tea or something else to help you?" I shook my head at her and finished chewing before speaking.

"No thank you, this water is fine." I motioned to the water bottle she brought and took a bite out of one of the chicken tenders. "Everything is delicious by the way."

"I'm glad you think so. Good luck Luna and I'll see you at the ceremony" with that she left and I finished eating my food.

"Ok go wash your hands so you don't stain the dress." nodding at Lexie I did exactly that and when I came back out she was opening the bag and getting my dress out.

"Wow it's breathtaking!" Everything about the dress was beautiful and captivating.

"Yes it is. And it was specifically made for you so let's get you in it."

After getting into the dress and getting it zipped up I walked over to the full length mirror to see how it looked. It fitted me perfectly, which makes sense since someone came to take my measurement to do it exactly. It was light purple with the skirt a little darker, the tulle over the dress was lighter and it covered my arms and made a beautiful neckline. It had butterflies and flowers attached all over the top, and the dress itself dropped all the way to the floor.

It was absolutely gorgeous and I was very happy with how I looked in it.

"That dress looks beautiful on you." Lexie moved to fix the sleeves and some of the tulle that hadn't fallen into place. "Listen I know you're probably really nervous right now but I assure you there's nothing to worry about. How about you call Nikolai and talk to him while I get dressed and then we'll head out yes?"

I got really excited at the idea of talking to Nik and agreed to her plan. She gave me her phone that was already ringing and she went into the room next door to get dressed.

"Hey Lexie, is everything ok? Is Savanna ok?" Nikolais hurried voice came through and I tried not to laugh at how worried he sounded.

"Hi daddy." I mumbled playing with the string that's tied around my waist.

"Oh hey Princess, how are you?" His voice instantly calms and can hear the relief in his voice.

"I'm ok, just a lil nervous. I can't wait to see you daddy."

"I can't wait to see you either Princess, I'm sure you look as gorgeous as you always do." I could almost feel the smile even though I couldn't see him. "And don't stay in your head too much, everything is going to be fine and I'm going to see you soon and I won't leave your side after that ok."

"Ok daddy. See you in a bit." I already felt ten times better after listening to his soothing voice and even though I didn't want to hang up I knew that I was going to see him soon.

"See you soon Princess." The line went dead after that and I placed the phone down sitting on the bed waiting for Lexie.

After about ten minutes she came back in wearing a beautiful ocean blue dress that stopped just above her knees and her heels that made her taller. She also handed me a pair of silver flats knowing that I could not walk on heels at all.

"Thank you. You look beautiful Lexie." She smiled at me and picked up her phone putting her in her silver clutch.

"Thank you! Now let's go, we don't wanna be late."

We made our way outside where there was a car already waiting for us. The moment we were inside it started moving and in less than twenty minutes we were parking outside of a beautiful house.

"This is where the lawyer lives, he manages the legal paperwork for the human world."

Lexie explained since I still didn't know everyone or where they lived.

We got out of the car and walked towards the front door knocking. A man wearing a suit opened the door and I assumed this was the lawyer.

"Hi. Just in time, the alpha is waiting in the room, come on I'll guide you."

He started walking towards the room and we followed. I was starting to get nervous but also excited cause I finally got to see Nik. Once we got there the lawyer, who I still didn't know the name of, opened the door and Lexie walked in first with me following.

Nik was standing next to a chair in a tux, white shirt and black suit with a tie, he looked absolutely perfect. I couldn't help but smile hugely as soon as I saw him and slightly ran to hug him. As soon as his hands were wrapped around me I could feel the tension and nerves disappear.

"Hi Princess. I'm so happy to see you too. How about you let me look at you though, you look absolutely gorgeous." he pushed me back a little and scanned me top to bottom smiling at me. "Gimme a little twirl baby."

I giggled and went along as he twirled me.

"You look very handsome too." I smiled at him and gave him another hug before we sat on the chairs that were placed in front of a big desk.

I looked around the room and noticed that Lexie's mate, the beta, was also here. The room was quite average and plain looking but it was very organized and clean. Before I could keep observing the room the lawyer started speaking and I turned my attention to him.

"Alright so your wedding licenses were already previously done and I have all the necessary paperwork here. You just have to sign and then your witnesses will also sing and you're already married the human way."

We nodded our understanding and Nikolai grabbed the pen that was being extended to him singing on his assigned line. He then gave me the pen and I also signed passing the pen to Alek since he was Nikolai's witness. Then Lexie signed as my witness and it was done.

"Congratulations you're legally married now" The lawyer spoke up and stood up from his chair, Nikolai and I following after.

"Thank you for everything." Nik extended his hand and they shook hands. I said thank you and waved, going back to clinging to Nik's arm.

After that since we still had some time before the ceremony we went towards the start of the forest where a photographer was waiting for us to take pictures of us.

"I have a surprise for you princess." We had been taking pictures for about two hours now and I was a little tired but the idea of a present made me alert and excited.

"What is it daddy?" At this point I was practically bouncing up and down and daddy chuckled at me.

"I'm going to cover your eyes ok princess." I nodded my head and daddy's hands covered my eyes.

At first everything was really quiet but then I could hear a car approaching and then several people walking. I was getting more and more impatient and finally when daddy let go I opened my eyes. Immediately my eyes went wide and a gasp left my lips before I started running.

"Dad! Lucian! You're here! Oh my goddess you actually came." I was engulfed in a hug by both of them and I was practically crying.

"Of course we came sweetheart! Wouldn't miss your ceremony for the world." My dad said and I saw him brush a tear and a smile giving him a tight hug.

"Yeah don't think that just because you moved all the way over here you're getting rid of us." Lucian said with a smirk and I let go of that so I could also give him a tight hug.

"I've missed you so much Luci." I could feel his groan and I giggled at the fact it still bothered him.

"I already told you not to call me that." no matter how hard he tried to pretend to be mad he was still smiling.

After talking for a bit I asked Lucian about his mate and Xavier opened the door and exited the car.

"I didn't want to interrupt the reunion. Good to see you again." I waved at him and smiled gratefully.

"Good to see you too. You better be taking good care of my brother mister." I fake glared at him and he burst out laughing before smirking at me.

"Trust me I'm taking excellent care of him, isn't that right Lucian?" His suggestive smirk made Lucian blush and the whole scene made my eyes widen.

"Oook then how about we start heading towards the ceremony before it's too late?" I said quickly and everyone agreed and started getting in on their cars. Me and Nik were in our own car and dad, Lucian and Xavier sat in the back seat. We catched up about everything and talked about anything on our way to the ceremony. When we got there the three people filed out of the car but before Nikolai could get out too I grabbed his arm and he turned towards me.

"Thank you. That was the best gift ever." I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss.

"Anything for you princess." With that we got out the car and headed to the dinner with the pack before the actual ceremony.

The dinner was set up inside this building that had pillars everywhere and exposed wood as well. It was decorated perfectly with the greenery hanging from the ceiling and the white curtains on the back behind our table. There were round tables strategically placed and decorated with white tablecloths and the flower centerpieces. Every spot had their menus and golden silverware.

All in all it was breathtaking. We walked towards our table and we sat down and waited until everyone was sitting on their spots. Our table was a long rectangular one where my dad, Lucian, and Xavier joined us as well as Alex, Lexie and the twins.

Once everyone was in place the waiters started going around pouring wine for everyone and passing out salads. The main course was chicken, I don't know how exactly it was made. All I know is it was delicious. And for dessert there was chocolate cake. Everything tasted delicious and the light conversation was very nice.

Soon enough it was time to move on to the ceremony and Lexie took Nik and I to a separate room to wait for everyone to settle down in their seats before we went out.

Once we got the ok to go we went to the room next door that was decorated just as perfectly as the previous one. The flower arch was beautiful, all the light and the doors at the end filtering in moonlight was perfect.

I held on to Nik's arm as we walked towards the arch where there was a man waiting for us, I suppose it's the guy conducting the ceremony. Once we stood at the front Nikolai turned to face me and I did the same holding both of his hands in front of me.

"We are here today, under the light of the full moon, to unite these two in accordance with the traditions passed down from generations. Tonight the vows are made in front of the moon goddess and nothing may break your bond, not even death." Nikolai squeezed my hands and I gave him a small smile.

"Do you, Savanna Klein, promise to take the position of Luna, and care for this pack and it's members, standing beside your Alpha and mate no matter the circumstances?"

"I do"

"Then may the moon goddess allow it and may you be the balance that helps Nikolai guide and strengthen this pack."

Nikolai pulled me to him and gave me a kiss as everyone clapped in the background. He started kissing towards my neck and my breath caught. Once he found the spot where the mark will go he bit down making my knees fail me and a groan left past my lips.

I took a couple of deep breaths before moving forward and towards Nik's neck. I did exactly what he did and I bit down on his neck. His breathing hitched but besides that he didn't make a sound.

"Now that we've witnessed their union lets allow them to shift and allow their wolves to mate. Thank you so much to everyone for coming, and the best of wishes for our Alpha and Luna."

We waved at everyone before we walked away to the woods. The moon was high in the sky and it was illuminating everything.

"Daddy please unzip my dress?" I turned around and I felt his cold fingers sliding down my back. A shiver went through my body and I giggled when he tickled at my sides a bit. I slid off my dress and watched as Nikolai finished taking off his suit.

"I love you so much Princess." Nikolai gave me a quick kiss and started shifting to his beautiful black wolf letting Angelo have control.

I followed his lead and also shifted giving the control over to Diamond.

Both Angelo and Diamond were making whining noises while they approached each other and started bumping noses and mouthing at each other's muzzles.

For the next couple of hours our wolves played together, they chased each other and bumped their bodies with the other. Angelo was attempting to court Diamond by bowing, tossing and tilting his head, as well as laying his legs over her neck.

All in all it was an adorable but very funny sight. Eventually they ended up cuddled under a tree and sleeping until sunrise.

A/N - Well guys this concludes the book! Final chapter. I'm sad cause it's over but I'm also extremely happy because I managed to finish it! It took way too long and it's not my best work but it's here and it's done.
