Iris POV:
News spread quickly about me and Nolan. Everyone was smart enough to come to an accusation that me and Nolan were secretly dating, pretending to be enemies.
It was your typical romance. I still couldn't believe Nolan was finally awake and healthy. No issues. He still had to go for checkups though. It was a must and I had to make him promise he would go.
He agreed...only if I came with him though.
I never took my eye off him, when we had to go to separate classes, either Amber or someone in my class had to drag me away. I was too scared that I might loose Nolan again.
It was time for lunch again. I eyed the table with Louis and Denis.
"I heard you like to sit alone." A voice whispered in my ear. I flinched, letting out a tiny yelp as I shot my head back to look at the person.
I smiled upon seeing Nolan with that sly smirk I missed so much.
"Did I scare you princess? Sorry." He said in full on sarcasm.
I punched his arm lightly, causing him to rub it in pain.
"That hurt." He pouted.
"Atleast it wasn't on your stitches." I shrugged.
"You got stronger..." He let out softly, looking at me with admiration.
I blushed and nodded at his statement.
"So...are you going to sit at your grieving table again or come sit with us?" Nolan asked, nudging his head to the table where all his friends was sitting. Amber including.
I seemed to have missed how they became friends.
"I wouldn't dare to sit at my grieving table again with you here." I smirked and skipped happily to the other table, Nolan behind me.
I plopped down right before Nolan sat next to me.
"Hey." I greeted the lovely people.
"Look who decided to finally join the party." Denis joked to which I laughed in reply.
I took out my lunch and started munching on it as I haven't eaten all day yet. Alex joined us not long after, with permission of course.
I could see the jealousy on Alex's expression and for the first time in my life, I saw the jealousy displayed on Nolan's face. I smirked at it. It felt so wrong but so victorious at the same time.
That's what he gets for having too much attention from those brats instead of me.
Amber and Denis were engrossed in a conversation until Louis added his own opinion to it and they started arguing.
Nolan suddenly wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him while I just dragged my food along.
I nearly choked on the food as he did so. I wasn't used to the public displayed affection because we used to be in a secret relationship. But I was happy. We could finally show the world we were a couple.
He rested his head on my shoulder as I ate away. It felt like my heart was about to jump out of my chest and run a whole lap, leaving it's owner behind. But I kept my stoic expression.
It didn't stop the heat from rushing up my cheek though.
"Awww. Look at them." Amber spoke, cutting the argument.
Nolan had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I knew it because of the little snores that left his mouth and his limp arm around my waist. I guess that even a month long coma couldn't save him from his tiredness.
I blushed more as Amber pointed out to me, making the boys turn their gaze to me. I tried to hide my face without waking Nolan up, but I couldn't find anything to do so. Amber laughed at that, letting out a loud snort every now and then.
I just nervously looked around the room, scratching my leg. I liked that me and Nolan were out in the open now, but I still felt nervous. It was a huge step for me.
He just appeared out of the blue after a long coma with a 10% chance of waking up and remembering everything. Then everyone is talking about us. And now no one can keep their mouths or eyes to themselves.
Nolan suddenly grabbed my hand, intertwining his fingers with mine, stopping me from scratching.
"Shut up snorty face." Nolan ordered sternly to which Amber shut up.
"Snorty face?" She pouted.
Nolan opened his eyes tiredly, rubbing them slightly as he sat up straight, not letting go of me.
Alex watched in dismay. He didn't like this. Actually, he's been silent this whole time. He just continued staring at me and Nolan. Nolan especially.
"IRIS HARPER! NOLAN MORELLI!" A voice boomed the cafeteria.
My eyes widened, noticing who it was.
"Oh sh!t." I muttered, turning back to look at the figure making his way towards us.
"Nolan, run." I ordered.
"What? Why?" He asked, turning to face the figure too.
He frowned upon seeing my raging brother.
"You! I will kill you!" Liam yelled furiously, coming closer.
"Nolan." I warned him, my eyes growing wider if that was even possible.
"Why?"
"He thinks you're the reason why I was sad! Run!" With that, Nolan shot up from the table and started running, Liam chasing after him.
I also stood up and started chasing after Liam.
"Liam, stop! Liam!" I continuesly yelled, trying to stop my brother from killing Nolan.
"Come back here you piece of sh!t!" Liam yelled at Nolan who was too quick for him.
"Liam! If you don't stop now I will tell mom you sweared!" I threatened as I chased him out of the cafeteria with a panicking Nolan infront of him.
I tried my best not to laugh at his expression. This situation is serious. Sort of...
"I don't care! Do it! I won't stop until this motherf*cker is dead!" Liam threatened.
Nolan made a sharp turn to where the closet was. Liam slipped before quickly standing up and recomposing himself.
"Where did he go?" Liam scratched his head furiously.
I smirked, knowing exactly where he was.
"Just give up already. He's too fast. Even if you did try to kill him, he would kill you first. He's stronger." I truthfully admitted.
"Oh? Did you see this? Does he have this?" Liam sarcastically asked as he flexed his biceps.
"Oh please. He has alot more than that. Now shoo! You annoy me!" I chased him off.
He groaned and walked away.
Once I knew he was gone, I tiptoed to the closet and slightly opened it.
He pulled me inside and locked the door, my laughter echoing the hall.
