Chapter 15: Touchdown

Why are they coming over here! I quickly looked down I didn't want them to see my face.

"Oh look at the happy couple." I heard Danielle's voice.

"We're not a couple." I heard Ash say back almost defensive about it.

I quickly let go of his hand, his words kind of hurt I'm not going to lie. He looked down at our hands like he was sad I let go.

"Anyway, Ashy are you going to the football game tonight?" She said touching Ash's arms.

"Sure, why not." He said happily. I was kind of sad that he agreed to go. I hate Danielle and the thought of her and Ash together it makes me want to throw up.

For some reason my feet began to walk, walk away from them. I could here Ash calling my name but I ignored them. I wasn't going to stand their and be in front of girls that jumped me last night but something stopped me when I saw my mother coming out of the school.

Her eyes landed on me and started walking really fast over to me, she kind of stumbled and lost her footing but she didn't and I kind of giggled.

"Mom what are you doing here?" She got closer to me.

"Adrianna! What in the world happened to your face?!" She ignored my question. I didn't have time to answer before she went to conclusions.

"Did that boy do this to you!?" She was talking about Ash.

"What? No! No mom, I fell down some stairs at my friends house and got bruised up." I'm a terrible lair.

"Adrianna! Tell me the truth right now!"

"That's the truth mom, I promise."

"Okay but if I find out your lying your in major trouble."

"I'm not lying." I lied.

"Listen Adrianna the last couple of days I've been really lonely and want you to come back home."

"Are you crazy? I'm not coming home mom!"

"Well you can't live with your friend forever!"

"I know. I'm going to dads."

"Your what?"

"Yeah, I'm going to go to dads."

"Adrianna you can't"

"Yes I can mom besides you kicked me out, remember?"

"Adrianna I was disappointed in you, you need to come home now."

"No, I'm not doing this here, I'm going to dad's and that final."

"I have to go." I said walking past my mom.

The rest of the school day was a drag and nothing interesting happened. I walked to the parking lot after school and saw Ash leaning against his truck. I slowly walked over and gave him a small smile.

"Hey, so are you excited for tonight's football game?" I faked a smile and nodded my head. I didn't realize he wanted me to come with.

"Kay well do you want to get something to eat first?"

"Sure." I smiled. I guess it was going to be like a late lunch.

We got in his truck and drove past a couple of restaurants until we both agreed on Taco Bell. We grabbed are seats inside and Ash went to go order, he left his phone on the I wanted to check it but that would be snooping. I looked at Ash standing at the counter and looked back at his phone. I quickly flipped it over and saw that it was a text from Danielle.

I rolled my eyes and looked back at Ash when a lot girls my age walked in laughing and checking Ash out. They started to fix their hair. I knew they wanted to get at Ash. He grabbed our food and walked back to the table I was sitting at. I looked in the direction of the girls and they were all giving me death looks. I gave them 'u wish' smile and they rolled their eyes.

Ash sat down and picked up his phone, he looked at it for a bit and then smiled shaking his head. I'm pretty sure he was looking at the text from Danielle. Am I jealous? No, no way. They were child hood friends, yes I'm jealous! She knows more about Ash then I do! She knows what makes him laugh, what makes him mad. Why is he interested in me?

"Is something wrong." Ash's voice rung in my ears.

"What? Uh no, nothings wrong."

"Oh." Was all he said.

"Just thinking that's it."

"Thinking about what?"

"Nothing really."

The girls that were at the front next to Ash walked over to us and sat down at the table next to ours. Really? There's so many places to sit and you decide to sit right next to us? They began giggling and smiling at Ash. He didn't even acknowledge them which I was happy for. They began to stare at him and I don't know what came through me but I grabbed his hand that he wasn't eating with and held it he looked at me surprised and smiled.

The girls began to whisper and one girl got up from her seat and walked over to us. She sat a white folded paper on the table and smiled. Ash looked up at her.

"Call me." She said with a wink.

"Do you not see my girlfriend right there?" The girl looked at me and then our hands.

Girlfriend? Did Ash just call me his girlfriend? I almost spit out my drink when he said that but I kept it in.

"It's not like your going to last, I can do things for you that she can't. She's not even pretty" She winked again and laughed.

Her words really hurt me because they were true. I stood up from my chair and all the girls at the other table were laughing. I looked at them and walked out of there I headed to Ash's car and swung the door open. Thank god he didn't lock it. He shortly came out holding our drinks and food. He looked super pissed.

He got in the car and started the engine.

"Sorry, those girls are stupid."

"Yeah." I replied. Their not stupid if their right.

We drove for awhile until we got back to the school, it was already getting dark and students were everywhere. Taking seats and standing up and getting snacks. I spotted Mackenzie and Abigail and they spotted me. They walked over to Ash and I smiling. They embraced me in a big hug.

"How are you?" Mackenzie spoke.

"Fine, you guys?"

"We're good." Abigail said.

They couldn't talk for long so Ash and I took our seats. He took my hand out of my lap and intertwined are fingers together. I looked down at our hands and couldn't help but smile, Ash was being so sweet. There were a bunch of kids taking their seats on the football bleachers with food in there hand. Ash and I sat down next to his brothers listening to the loud music playing and watching the cheerleaders shake there pom poms.

Everything seemed great until I saw Danielle and Erica coming towards us. My heart dropped and I squeezed Ash's hand.

"Are you okay?" Ash looked at me.

"Uh yeah, I'm fine."

They sat down right next to Ash. Danielle looked and our hands and gave me a death looked. I broke holding hands with Ash. I didn't want them to jump me again. I could tell Ash looked hurt at my actions so I looked the other way.

"I'll be right back, I'm going to buy some water."

"Oh okay."

I walked away and found my way to the snack bar. The line wasn't to long which was a good thing. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to face a gorgeous guy. Ash was way better looking though. This guy had dirty blonde hair and green eyes.

"You dropped this." He said handing me and five dollar bill.

"Oh thanks, I didn't even realize."

"No problem."

I turned around but then turned back around when he continued to speak.

"Do you go to this school?"

"Yeah, do you?"

"No I go to a private school but the football games here are the best." I began to laugh a little.

"Yeah, I guess they are."

I finally bought my water and continued to talk to this guy.

"So what's your name?"

"Adrianna, yours?" I smiled.

"Jake, its nice to meet you."

"You too."

"What the fuck?" I heard Ash's voice.

"What?" I looked at Ash weird.

"Who's this?"

"This is Jake."

"Why are you talking to him?"

"I just met him, he gave me my money I dropped."

"Dude back off her." Jake said.

"Oh no." I whispered to myself.

"What the fuck did you just say to me."

"Fucking leave her alone."

"Don't fucking tell me to leave my girl alone!"

"This is your boyfriend?" Jake looked at me.

"Uh no, he's, its complicated."

"Ash please stop! Calm down!"

He walked away in the opposite way of the bleachers. Crap he was going to leave.

"I-I have to go." I said giving an apologetic smile to Jake.

He gave me one back and I followed Ash. Why was he so mad that I was talking to Jake? He talks to girls all the time.

"Ash! Ash! please, wait!" He turned around when he got to his car.

"Ash, we were just talking, that's it." I got closer to him.

"Adri I can't stand seeing you with another guy." He said grabbing my face. I just looked at him.

"I can't stand another guy making you laugh, I wanna be the only guy that makes you laugh. I love making you smile and I can't stand it when another guy is making you smile, you mean a lot more to me then you think."

"Ash I-"

"Shhh." He said tracing my lips with his thumb.

He slowly came closer to me closing the distance between us. He put his hands on my hips and he's hands on my hips, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he slowly moved his head closer to mine placing his lips on mine.

"TOUCHDOWN!" We heard the loud speaker go off and he smiled against my lips. We broke out of the kiss and got in his truck.

The ride to his house was pretty short. I opened the door about to step out when my arm was pulled back to Ash and the door closed behind me. He placed his lips on mine again and I don't know what got in to me but I climbed on top of him and automatically his hands went straight to my waist. He bit my bottom lip and then he entered his tongue in my mouth. He's hands made their way to my ass and my dress began to come up when we both heard a knock on the window.

"Ash!" It was his mom.

I quickly got off of him and he opened his side of the door.

"Sorry mom." Is the first thing Ash said.

"No! No I'm sorry mom!" She replied angry.

"Adrianna please go upstairs, I need to talk to Ash."
