It had been almost two hours since Axel said we would leave. We were still at this ugly ass warehouse.

Except waiting wasn't the worse part. What made this experience even worse was the bitch at the front desk thingy checking in every ten minutes. Asking Axel if he needs anything and slipping a smart remark about me too. Worst of all, Axel acted like he couldn't hear her bitchy shade.

It started to work my nerves, she had no more times. Next tine she came in I was going to say something back.

"Hey Mr.Sharp I'm packing up to go home but I'm grabbing something to eat after, maybe you can wrap up drop that off and we can go", she smiled.

Before Axel could open his mouth to reply I did it for him.

"He's good sis", I said with an attitude, looking at her dead in the eyes begging her to test me.

She just scoffed and slammed the door. And I was happy because of it.

"Kalani you will not speak to my workers like that do you understand", he said MAD... FOR WHY, she was a bitch to me.

"She was a bitch to me", I whined. I didn't even care about cussing because it was starting to piss me off that every bitch on this earth can flirt with him and he can flirt back or even go to dinner. Yet, I can't wear my clothes of choice to school.

"Use that language like that with me again and you'll be begging me to stop", he warned. I didn't reply back.

I huffed and stood up. My phone had died. There's no charger up here and I'm getting hungry.

"Where do you think you're going", he said not locking up from his computer.

"I'm hungry", I spat at him just slightly.

He slammed the computer suddenly making me jump and aggressively grabbed his things.

"Cmon then", he said rolling his eyes.

Anyone can roll their eyes. Dickface.

I walked out the door first and saw the blonde bitch sitting there waiting. Didn't I just tell her he's good.

"Bye boss", she smiled.

He grinned big at her and glanced at her boobs. Then at me to see if I caught him.

I did. Wow.

"Bye Tiffany", he said back to her while locking the door. We were walking to the steps when she started talking again.

"She's cute you know", she said to him. Talking about me.

"Thanks. Paid a money for an attitude", he said glaring at me. Does he want me to make a scene. I can. Not in front of 'Tiffany' but in front of the stupid gang.

She laughed way too loud at a joke that was not even kinda funny.

They said their goodbyes and he kissed her on the cheek. You heard me KISSED.

I was beyond pissed. I walked off not looking too angry and made my way to the car.

On the way down I passed Isaiah. The cocky kid who brags about everything and doesn't know who my dom is and I won't tell him because he's a loud mouth. Yeah ... that kid.

"Hey Lani", he yelled after me. I turned on my heels and winced at his voice. I was really hoping he didn't see me.

"Hey Isaiah", I smiled at him.

"What are you doing here", he asked leaning on the wall. I glanced at the stairs and saw Axel still wasn't on the way down.

"I had to come with my dom for the project", I said nervous but not showing it.

"Oh cool where is he maybe we can be friends", he said.

"Umm I don't know but I'm going to the car if anyone ask you if you've seen me I'm at the car", I said rushing away as I saw Axel come down the steps.

"Uh okay bye", he called out to me.

I tapped my foot impatiently waiting for Axel so we can get some food.

"Hey buttercup", he said obnoxiously, knowing I was upset and hangry.

I ignored him.

He kept talking and talking. I knew it was to bother me and I tried to ignore it but I couldn't anymore.

"So you're telling me you can kiss other bitches but I can't wear clothes. Fucking ridiculous", I yelled at him. He didn't even look mad. He just laughed.

"You're a funny girl Kalani", he laughed.

"K", I said. I will not be talking to him until I feel like it again.

We got to the house and I opened the door with my passcode and slammed it on his face.

"Are you seriously jealous of Tiffany", he laughed.

"You kissed her", I spat.

"On the cheek. That's friendly", he argued.

"Too friendly", I said taking out a pan and making a grilled cheese.

"Okay well when you wanna stop being mad at me I'm upstairs. Be in bed by -"

"Nine... I know", I cut him off.

He shook his head and ran upstairs.

About ten minutes had gone by and I was just scrolling through Twitter when I got a Group FaceTime from Genni ,Tati and Hadley.

"Heyyyyy", they all said.

"What's up", I said eating my chocolate pudding.

"Soooo new 31 is having a party", Genni basically YELLED.

I quickly turned her down and told her to shut the hell up before Axel hears her.

"Sorry, I've just never been to a party and I'm just so excited but... will you go with us", Genni asked.

"I can as-", I stopped my sentence.

"I would've asked but I won't because he kissed his assistant today y'all", I said getting upset again.

"No", they gasped shocked.

"Yeah, so I'm in, when is it", I smiled.

"Friday", Tati said.

"Will there be drugs or alcohol", I asked.

"Cmon it's prepubescent boys from 31... duhhhh", Hadley said.

"Xander said you could go", I asked in disbelief.

"No but OG's of 31 don't know about it and they have to go 3 hours out for a dinner meeting with the senates so it's okay", she smiled.

"Okay I'll be there I guess", I said. They got all gittery and excited. I don't love parties but I feel like I should be able to have fun just like Axel.

I looked at the time. 8:57. Three more minutes then for the next day I have to pretend like I'm not going to a party.

You're probably thinking : 'girl it's not that hard'.

It is. I've gotten closer to Axel and I tell him like everything. If Hadley pisses me off I talk to him. If a teacher is bs me about my grade I tell him. If there is gossip. I tell him. This is gonna be hard.

I walked upstairs and crawled into bed next to him. He's like a huge teddy bear. But I'm mad at him now.

"How was your time away from me princess", he asked scrolling through Netflix.

I ignored him and kept scrolling through party outfits on Pinterest. Then the asshole grabbed my phone.

"Hey", I jumped. I was really hoping my phone had exited out of the app. Thankfully it did. But still.

"Come get it", he said holding it above his head. He was smiling. I loved his smile. It was big and white and charming and UGH. Beautiful.

I crawled on top of him, straddling, trying to reach the phone.

"Pipe down baby girl you'll get it back", he said putting it on the shelf on top of out extremely tall headboard.

"Axel I'm not in the mood", I said going to get off of him so I could get my phone.

He grabbed my waist and pulled me back on top of him. He looked at me dead in my eyes and bit his lip. I think I'm pregnant.

Guys not literally. But it was soooo cute.

I hid my smiles by looking away fast. He softly grabbed my chin and made me look at him.

"Relax Lani", he said massaging my shoulders. It felt soooooo good.

I threw my head back and let him continue. He put his head in between my neck and if I didn't have self control. He'd still be going.

"No", I said pushing his head up.

"I'm mad at you", I said leaping off of him and onto my side of the huge Wyoming King bed. I sleep wild and he's a calm sleeper. So he got a big bed so I wouldn't kick him.

"Okay buttercup", he said getting up.

"I'm going to get a snack downstairs since you won't let me have you", he said. I groaned at him but it probably sounded like muffles because my face was buried into the pillow.

"Want anything", he asked.

"No", I muffled.

"Okay gorgeous", he said slapping my butt  really hard before walking out the room.

"Ouch, what the heck", I yelled at him. But by the time I got up he was downstairs laughing while making a bowl of cereal.

As much as I hated him. I loved him too. The L word though. It's you know. A lot.

I liked him. A lot. Maybe even 'A lot, A lot'.
