Chapter 69

Third Person POV

The Demon Realm lies on a large Island outside Magic Realm with a total land area of 480,050

square kilometers, but it covered 65 percent of the Island with huge rock and desert.

Long ago, before the first great war occurred, the Demon Kingdom was built in the eastern part of

the Magic Realm that was now taken over by the dwarves and elves. But because of their greed and

hunger for power, demons convince the werewolves, witches, vampires, and beasts to attack the

angels and magic users resulting in a war between all races. Demons almost win the war, but the

Sextuplet appears and saves the entire magic realm.

After the first great war, the Gods forbid demons, werewolves, witches, vampires, and beasts to

enter the magic realm, and they also received the wrath of the 12 Gods and Goddesses, which was

limiting the use of their abilities. Because of the punishment, the demons overthrown into the Island

outside the magic realm and have suffered for over centuries. Thus, making them kill their weak

comrades to suffice their hunger and gained power. It was chaotic, but demons had survived the

crisis by eating the souls of humans which the Lord of the Beast, Invictus, and the Demon Lord

Samael granted to all the demons and beasts’ armies upon taking the human souls.

When the Demon-Beast, Yael, made allies with the Demon Lord, Samael, the Demon forces got

stronger years after years, especially the Dark Magna Trio. And their plan to take over Magic Realm

again had begun. With their growing numbers, demons believed they would win in the war,

especially if they had the best weapon in their hand.

For how many years of finding out how to break into the barrier protection of the magic realm, the

Demon Lord wasted no time entering the magic realm but only a few of his subordinates were able

to get in with him. He couldn't take all his armies inside the magic realm because his powers are still

limited, but after months of staying in the magic realm, Lord Samael and Lord Yael learned an

alternative way to let all their armies enter the magic realm. Their numbers grow larger when

demons control all the goblins that live in the huge maze cave in the southeast part of the magic

realm that wasn't part of the eastern wall and southern wall. Demon Lord Samael brainwashed the

Goblin Lord and now they are allies. And now, the goblins haven became their main hideouts.

Upon knowing the return of the Sextuplets, Demon Lord Samael got furious, and another plan

crossed his mind. He was waiting for this chance to avenge his brother, the former Demon King,

Helios. This time he promised he would kill all the sisters by using his triplets. He made sure his sons

would obey his command.

But he goes berserk upon knowing that his triplets mated to the three daughters of the moon

goddess. It's like an insult to the entire demon race. He wouldn't allow it to happen, that's why

another idea crossed his mind. He laughed evilly while the thunder roared. Lord Samael couldn“t

wait to execute his alternative plan.

"Victory is ours! Bwahahaha!” Lord Samael laughed, and Lord Yael just grinned because he knew

what exactly had the Demon Lord plans.

“Hey, kid! How long will the games end?!” one demon let out angrily.

Meanwhile, Angelo was laughing devilishly while sitting in the chair in between Lord Yael and Goblin

Lord Hammond, who was enjoying the game. He's too cocky for his age. Well, that's his other

personality if something made him giddy, especially if someone plays his favorite game.

"Chill! The game had just begun!” Angelo let out while rubbing his chin like an adult. It amuses Lord

Yael, but not Lord Samael.

“Hey kid! Who do you think you are? You are our prisoner!” Lord Samael said while glaring daggers

at Angelo.

A knock on his door interrupted his thoughts. “Come in.” he uttered and the door slowly busted

open, revealing a girl with a sexy dress. “Drelix!” the girl called while smiling widely and walked

towards his bed. Drelix got up and put his hands in his pocket.

"What do you want, Helda?" he said coldly. Helda ignores his cold treatment and snakes her hand

on his nape while staring into his eyes.

"Why do you keep ignoring me, Dre?” Helda said and leaned in to kiss him, but he looked away and

pulled his hand out of his pocket. Helda's lips pressed on his cheek as he planned, and he pushed

her away. Helda gasped because she didn't expect Drelix would push her. But that's what turned her

on and grinned. “I know you want me, Dre. I'll wait for you in my room.” she said confidently.

“Wait until you die.’ Drelix thought, but he didn't say it out loud. Instead, he darted out into his

room, leaving Helda while frowning.

Meanwhile, Angelo yawned and fell asleep in his chair. He hadn't been sleeping since the demons

kidnapped him. The maze game disappeared and all the demons and goblins sigh in relief because

they're finally free from the maze. It was hell, and they wanted to curse the kid in their heads. The

Goblin Lord groaned because his entertainment had gone. He tried to wake up the kid, but Lord

Yael glared at him that made him cower in fear. Instead, he ordered everyone to rest and save

energy for the war.

Lord Yael carried the kid into his prison cell and put him in the bed. Now that the kid felt tired, it

was time to execute his plan. He grinned and put his hand on Angelo’s head. His hand glowed and a

dark magic circle appeared. He began the ritual to erase the kid's memory and replaced it with a

fake memory. When he wakes up, he would only remember him as his father. Lord Yael grinned

when he successfully controlled Angelo’s mind. Now, he can order the kid whatever he likes him to

do.

“Sextuplets, I can't wait to see you crumble. Hahaha!” he said and laughed victoriously.

Drelix saw what Lord Yael did to Angelo. He clenched his fist in anger. “How dare he use the kid?!" he

retorted in his mind. He won't allow Lord Yael to take advantage of the kid. He needs to have a plan

on how to ruin Lord Yael's plans. One last look at the kid, he left and headed to Helix's room. He

wanted to know who his brother's mate was.

On his way to Helix's room, he bumped into Damon and Zelix. He glanced at his brother, who had a

dull expression. “Hey, Dre, where are you going?” Damon asked.

“Helix room.” he replied while shrugging his shoulders

"Oh, I saw him going to the exit.” Damon said. He nodded and bid goodbye to the two while

looking at Zelix. He signaled Zelix to meet them outside, and he received a small nod. Drelix still

couldn't believe that Zelix rejected his mate. Among the three of them, Zelix is more merciless than

their father.

Drelix saw Helix at the top of the big rock while looking up at the two moons. He noticed the rain

had already stopped. He sat beside him while letting out a deep sigh. “Bro, can I ask you

something?” he said.

"Go ahead.” Helix replied.

“Who is your mate?” Drelix asked.

Helix sighed, and a smile crossed his lips, “It's Damona.” It amused Drelix to see Helix smile. It's been

ages since he saw the genuine smile of his brother. He could tell his brother is in love.

“Mine is Val.” Drelix said while also smiling. Helix looked at him and gave him a small smile, then

looked up at the moon.

“I can't believe that the moon goddess mated us to her daughters.” Helix said.

“There must be a reason,” Drelix replied.

"Yeah."

While waiting for Zelix, they talked about how they met their mates. Drelix envied Helix because he

had time to confess his undying love to Damona. How he wished Val would let him hear him out. He

let out a sigh and ruffled his hair.

Zelix was leaning on the rock, and he heard his brother's conversation. After a few minutes, he

joined in the conversation, “You should reject your mate while it's still early. They are just a

hindrance in our plans.” he said. Drelix and Helix looked at him while clenching their fist.

"Why is it so easy for you to reject your mate? Who is she?” Helix asked calmly.

Zelix looked at them with a dull expression, “It's Willow.” he said with an uninterested tone. He

doesn't want to talk about it, but he knew his brothers would force him to talk. “I dislike her, so I

rejected her. I don't want her to be my mate. Like who cares about that damn mating thing. Fuck

the moon goddess for manipulating my own life.” he continued.

Helix and Drelix went silent because they knew they couldn't change Zelix's perception towards the

mating thing. They pitied Willow for experiencing their brother's merciless words. “Just make sure

you won't regret what you did.” Helix and Drelix said in unison.

Zelix chuckled, “That won't happen,” Zelix said and tapped his brother's shoulder, “Rejecting them

would be the best option for us. And demons don't regret a thing because we are merciless.” he

said and walked away, leaving his brothers in total despair.
