"welcome back to love island usa. last night was a lot for our islanders so we decided to let them sleep in with no sudden lightning changes. sadly, no one told brad the intern who's in charge of the electric blinds." iain voice overed.

val sat up, squinting because of the bright lights which made miguel laugh at her.

"stop! it's too bright." she yelled at him while hiding her face in her hands.

she gave nicole a hug before they went to get ready for the day.

val put on a white and blue striped bikini and put her hair in two little bubble braids.

"liv i would love to sit with you on balcony." leah told her while walking in.

"i would prefer if both of us could speak, because i feel like we both were feeling the same in the situation." liv gestured to her and kaylor.

"okay well all five of us go since all five of us made the decision." val told the girls as they all walked out to the balcony.

"so first and foremost, i'm sorry about the entire situation. i felt like you and i are close enough that if there was like a miscommunication we could've talked alone." leah pointed between herself and liv.

liv then also apologized and they talked out the whole situation.

"maybe some things i said were hurtful and that was never my intention. but everything i said up there i own and i still stand by that." liv said to the four other girls.

"that's she's delusional and a compulsive liar?" val questioned liv.

"i didn't say delusional." liv answered which made serena and val side eye each other because they both know they heard her say that.

"however i did say you were a compulsive liar." liv admitted.

"and i'm a compulsive liar before you even hear me out?" leah said to liv, frustrated. they talked for a little longer until they made up.

"i'm really glad that we sat out here and had a conversation about this. i wish we would've done this before it got to that point." kaylor told the group.

"same." serena agreed with her.

the five girls gave each other a group hug, glad they all made up.

serena and val then made their way down to the blue couches with jaNa and nicole.

"i don't get how they lift those weights, their so heavy." nicole looked over to the guys.

"i'm telling you it's foam." jaNa joked.

then they heard kenny yell. "i got a text! alright ready."

"islanders, it's time to show who's got muscle in today's challenge, flex appeal. #nopainnogain #dropitlikeasquat" they all started yelling, excited for the new challenge.

"fuck you, and your massive pecs." aaron yelled to kenny which made val laugh. she always thought aaron was a little sus, but just kept it to herself.

"welcome back to love island usa. guys i've just come from my hotel and someone's stolen all my outfits." iain voice overed all the islanders running to the challenge.

connor went up first for the challenge, everybody cheering him on.

"which boy is the most arrogant?" connor read out on his card. he dropped his kettle bell on kendall. then he decided pick cassidy for the kiss.

next up to go was kenny. "which boy, is the biggest poser?" he read from the card.

"everytime you walk by the mirror, you double take bro." he dropped his kettle bell on miguel which made val laugh.

miguel in beach hut:

"boy you should've dropped that on your damn self. fuck you mean? get outta here bro."

kenny then picked jaNa for the kiss before it was kendall's turn.

"which boy is the least trustworthy?" he read on his card before dropping the kettle bell on rob, which he got really mad at for no reason.

val in beach hut:

"rob is just so fucking dramatic like holy shit. it's just a game, like he needs to chill out."

next up was nigel. "which boy has no game?" he dropped his kettle bell on connor.

then miguel went, val screamed and hyped him up from the bottom. "which boy is only here for clout?" he read from his card.

he dropped the kettle bell on kenny, just because of kenny doing the same to him earlier.

he went down the line, pretending to be indecisive until he finally grabbed val's hand and took her into the sauna.

he picked her up and leaned over a bit, the kiss lasting awhile before he finally put her down.

liam went after miguel. "if you left tomorrow, which boy do you think would steal your girl?" he read off the card.

he dropped the kettle bell on kenny, just because he didn't know him that well. then he picked leah for the kiss, which made connor a bit jealous.

the rest of the boys went before the girls had to make a decision on whose "flex appeal" was the best.

"so we think that the guy with the most flex appeal is..." they all started to drum roll.

"kordell!" val yelled out.

the boys were going crazy until everybody ran back to the villa shouting, "kordell! kordell! kordell!"

when the girls got back to the villa they talked about the challenge on the couches then went upstairs to get changed again.

after val got changed she met miguel on one of the couches to talk.

"we're all alone out here." val said while looking around.

"should we just get at it." he joked.

"miguel!" she laughed at his comment. they started talking about the rob stuff that happened last night.

"i'm just so over everybody talking about him. and i hope he really likes cass or liv." she told miguel.

"you think he interest in liv as well?" miguel questioned her. "i don't know." she shrugged.

"really? ooh, tea!" he rubbed his hands together which made them both laugh.

"we love gossip." he said in a funny voice.

"how do you think feel about the challenge today." he asked her.

"i thought it was good. that kiss was hot." she fanned herself.

"do you wanna do it again?" he asked while looking down at her lips.

"i have lipstick on though." she wiped her lip.

"you can put it on me. my lips are chapped." he smiled at her before she put her hands out for him to come closer.

they both leaned in and kissed for awhile. his one hand going to the back of her hair and the other one on her lower back, while her hands were on each side of his face.

they pulled away while laughing because they saw the others start to come back out.

"text!" aaron yelled for serena.

"islanders, tonight there will be a re-coupling. the girls will choose and the boy not picked will be dumped from the island. #girlsincontrol #whorunstheworld."

"fuck dude." miguel yelled out.

val got ready in the makeup room, doing a natural look and curling her hair.

"how are you feeling babe." she looked over to leah.

leah sighed before answering her. "i'm a little nervous just because i'm gonna feel really bad for connor if he doesn't get picked. like obviously he saw me and liam kissing earlier which probably wasn't the best thing for him to see."

"aw it's okay girl." val pulled her in for a hug. "at the end of the day you have to make the decision that's best for you." which leah agreed too.

the two girls took mirror pictures together before they made their way downstairs while holding hands.

they all gathered around the fire pit. the girls sitting down on the yellow couch and the boys standing in the front.

serena was first to go. she obviously decided to couple up with kordell and gave a really cute speech about him.

after herself and miguel, serena and kordell were definitely val's favorite couple in the villa.

kaylor then went and chose to couple up with aaron which everybody already saw coming.

cassidy went after kaylor and chose to couple with rob, which left everybody feeling bad for connor.

fourth to go was nicole. she chose to couple up with kendall, which made him very happy.

finally val was next to go. she stood up while smiling at miguel.

"i decided to couple up with this boy because i love watching our connection grow stronger as time goes on. he makes me feel prettier each and every day. he's very charming, and funny. i feel like i'm never not laughing when i'm with him. so the boy i decided to couple up with is." she paused for a moment.

"miguel." she said excitedly while everybody around them cheered. they quickly kissed before sitting down, miguel putting his arm around her.

then jaNa went and she chose to couple up with kenny. val was very happy for her as this is the type of connection she was waiting and she finally got it. she definitely deserved it.

after jaNa, liv went. she got emotional during her speech because she didn't want to see connor go, as he was a really good friend to her. she then picked to couple with nigel.

lastly, leah went. she cried during her speech as well because she had to pick between liam and connor. she was getting to know liam a lot more and really liked him. but on the other hand she felt extremely bad for connor, as they used to have a good connection.

leah ultimately coupled up with liam, which unfortunately made connor single.

almost everybody started tearing up at the sight of connor standing alone in front of the fire pit. they never liked seeing anybody go home.

connor then got a text. "connor, you are single and therefore dumped from the island. you have 30 minutes to pack your bags and say your goodbyes. #endofftheroad"

everybody got up and immediately started hugging connor after the short speech he made.

"aw connor i'm so sorry. i'm gonna miss you so much." she hugged him while he rubbed her back up and down.

they all cheered for him as he walked out. "we love you connor!" valentina and miguel yelled at the same time.

miguel and valentina then turned around once they saw connor leave and walked up to soulties to talk.

"when i first expected doing this shit, i didn't think it was ever going to be that deep. it's just because i never expected to make friends out here, like close friends like that." miguel ranted to her.

"mhm. no he's great i just feel bad-" miguel interrupted her.

"you have nothing to feel bad for." he shook his head while rubbing her upper back.

"i am happy where i'm at right now." he looked at her.

"you didn't think i was going to chose you?" she laughed at him.

"i was a little bit scared i was thinking like, oh my god." he spoke in a funny voice.

"no on a serious level though like you make me laugh, so easy to talk to, your very beautiful. you just got eyes that i could look at all day." he went on and on about her.

"stop!" she told him while covering her face with a pillow.

"i feel like i'm like permanently blushing when i'm near you." she smiled at him while bringing the pillow back down.

"that's cute. you got, a whole lot about you that i like."

"aw, your the sweetest." she brought him in for a big hug before he leaned in to kiss her.

she pulled away first, laying her head on his chest while he played with her hair.

"i have to get up before you put me to sleep." she laughed.

while she stood up she told him, "well i'm happy."

"i'm happier." he smiled

"aw that was cute." she laughed before they both separated to get ready for bed.

val in beach hut:

"he just always makes me feel so like giddy. one of y'all needa cool me down because i always feel too hot around this man." she fanned herself.

"goodnight valentina." miguel hugged her before they both fell asleep.
