this is a spin off of my book, 'broken'. you do not need to have read 'broken' to read this one, but reading 'broken' will give you some insight on the characters' backgrounds and help you understand why they do the things they do.

now this story revolves around barbara, the prostitute who was friendly to elorm while she was still in the whore house. the other characters will appear and their lives will be touched on, albeit it will not be as detailed as you may want.

the book contains things such as rape, gore, sexual content, an lgbt character and suicide. i decided not to make it mature because i will barely touch upon them, but if even the mentions of these topics trigger you or make you uncomfortable, this isn't the book for you.

the story takes place one year after 'broken' ended. coronavirus never happened.
