Jiang Siyong’s smile seemed to get stiff. “We…we have never met before.”

“Oh, okay.” Tan Mo replied, “Because I don’t remember meeting you.”

Jiang Siyong’s expression stiffened a little bit more.

They had only run into each other one time as they were getting off the elevators.

But how could she possibly not remember him? Was he so inconspicuous?

He thought he had a good-looking face.

He had always been voted top among the most handsome heirs. Girls always idolized him because he was good-looking and wealthy.

The Jiang family and the Tan family had just engaged in an argument the previous Friday.

From the outside, he still had that gentlemanly smile. He said, “I knew who you were, so I figured that you were studying at Beijing University. I wasn’t sure of your class schedule and didn’t know when you would be finished with class, so I’ve been waiting here since 3:00 in the afternoon.

“Good thing I found you.” Jiang Siyong sighed with relief and smiled once again. “That means that we were meant to meet here today. Tan Mo, this is the second time we’ve met. I can’t hope for you to choose to be my girlfriend now, but I hope that you will give me a chance to impress you.

“I like you,” Jiang Siyong said.

It was already 6:00 at night, so that meant he had waited for about three hours.

The students around them were all chattering and were obviously impressed with his patience.

He’d waited an entire three hours just to meet her.

“What if Tan Mo didn’t come out?”

“That’s right. What if Tan Mo had gone to the dining hall and hadn’t come out for the night. Then he would’ve waited for nothing.”
