Chapter 33
Return of the Lost Heiress
âDonât worry about my studies,â Wynter pushed Margaret forward. âJust take good care of yourself.Listen to Wolf and eat less sweets.â
Margaret muttered, âHow can you not study? I heard Yvette is excellent in studies.â
âIsnât that great? Your granddaughter is smart like you,â Wynter chuckled.
Margaret raised her head. âWhat about you? What will you do in the future?â
âI can make money. Iâll survive.â Wynter took off Margaretâs shoes and socks. âWolf, bring me a bucketof water.â
Wolf hummed a response. He lifted a bucket, ran to fill it with water, and ran back again. He was strongand energetic.
Wynter was used to it.
Margaret laughed. âWolf only becomes stronger but doesnât grow taller. The day before yesterday, ourneighbor bought a pair of lion statues but couldnât carry them. He just went and lifted them without fearof breaking his hands.â
Hearing this, Wynter raised her head.
Wolf paused.
Wynter chuckled. âHeâs young and naturally strong.â
Margaret tapped her hand. âIs that normal strength? Itâs scary. Susan next door turned pale when shesaw it.â
Wynter glanced back nonchalantly. âDid you hear that? Be careful next time.â
Wolf nodded dully.
Margaret sighed softly. âIâm confused by you again. Listen to me, youâre currently attending a college.Itâs difficult to get admitted into university. How about I go look forâ¦â
âGrandma.â Wynter interrupted her with a smile, âThere is no need. I can do it myself.â
Having brought up Wynter since she was a child, Margaret knew she never bragged and had her ownplans.
Margaret didnât persuade Wynter anymore. She decided to brazenly return to her old social circle tofind connections on the coming weekend.
After Margaret soaked her feet and went to bed, only then Wynter left the room.
Standing outside the door, Wolf made a couple of gestures.
âI know.â Wynter said in a calm voice, âYou go to bed. Iâll find a way to get the Zenith herb and the bookback.â
Wanda dared to take just about anything. It didnât seem like she had lost her mind, but rather likesomeone had instructed her.
After all, she used to despise the things in the traditional medicine clinic most. This time, she hadsuddenly taken the Zenith herb. The Gibsons were obviously supporting her.
Wynterâs eyes suddenly turned cold. It seemed banning the Gibson family wasnât enough to make thembehave.
The night breeze blew slowly, and the locust flowers fell and scattered in the courtyard. Wynter walkedover, picked one up, and put it in her m*uth. It tasted slightly sweet.
Wolf slightly raised his head next to her, wondering why she was grinning.
After a while, Wynterâs low and chilly voice came. âAutumnâs coming. Letâs make the Gibson and theScott family go bankrupt.â
Wolfâs eyes instantly widened. He didnât look shocked but excited. He poked his face in excitement as ifhe could finally pull a prank after a long time.
His eyes lit up. In the masseur uniform, he gestured quickly with his hands as a sly grin tugged at hisl*ps.
Seeing his sign language, Wynter flicked her fingers and smiled affectionately. âI havenât let you out fora long time. You must be bored.@@novelbin@@
âGo ahead. I want to know all the corrupt transactions and illegal surgeries by the Gibson family inthree days.
âIâll make them spit out all the money they defrauded people of. As for the Scott family, you can takecare of them.â
With a hum and a nod, Wolf came out with a laptop under his arm.
Who could have thought an 11âyearâold mute boy was the notorious hacker, L, who had paralyzed theentire online banking system three years ago?
