Inside Li Seulbi’s room;

Covering herself with her blanket, Li Seulbi was trembling slightly as she thought-

“That was close. But How am I supposed to answer Su Yumi. I feel so terrible making her to lie for me, I even made her promise me. Still It’s better than others finding me in this state.’

“Even so Can I come clean in front of her? She would surely be worried and confront to the school or even worse make me to transfer school. No, I can’t let that happen after friends but What lie can I make up? I can’t say I fell again like before. What should I do?’

Li Seulbi felt suffocated both by staying under covers for a long period of time and by her racing thoughts. Unable to bear it any longer, she threw the blanket off and took some mouthful of breaths.

“What time is it?” Her eyes roamed around the room before stopping at the wall clock.

“It’s only 3 pm. I need to wait till night. I told Yumi we would talk after the dinner. Should I take a nap? I can’t with those thoughts. Then- *Growl*

Nearly forgot I haven’t eaten anything since morning. I don’t have any snacks on me, and I can’t head down’ I should just distract myself doing something. Let’s do some studying for now.” (As Expected from the elite student)

-Inside a luxurious suite-

“Boss!!” Alice called out as she bowed in front of a figure who was sitting nonchalantly working on her laptop. She was none other than Lin Xueqing.

“Good. You may leave.” She replied.

“I promise I will persuade her onto doing the volunteer, don’t worry.’

It was the promise Alice made to Xi Mei and Li Seulbi.

“Sh*t, why would I even do that? I don’t want to die so young. But I literally promised. I never went back on my words. Still asking for impossible to happen. I will at least try that way, I won’t be breaking the promise.’

Making up her mind, Alice turned around to face Lin Xueqing who was still immersed in her work. Before Alice could say anything, Lin Xueqing spoke “If you have something to say, Speak. If not, I am heading inside my room soon.”

“Yes- I mean No- I mean” Alice was stuttering in nervousness until Xueqing shot her cold glance, making her to blabber everything in one shot.

“What? You want me to volunteer in the school festival? And you promised them you will make me do that?” Lin Xueqing said casually, making it hard for anyone to read her.

Alice responded quickly “Boss, you don’t have to do that. I will just make some excuses. You don’t have to worry.”

“You would better do that.” She replied.

Alice was just about to leave looking all disheartened, when Lin Xueqing called out her name.

“Alice.”

“Yes, Boss.”

“On second thought, just leave it. I would do something about it.” Lin Xueqing said looking at her.

“Yes? Oh, okay. Then, I am taking my leave.” Saying that, Alice left the suite.

Closing her laptop, Lin Xueqing became dazed in her thoughts.

“Why would I say that? Why did I think about that jerk at the mention of the school festival? His words...’

After freshening up, she laid on the bed. After staring blankly at the ceiling for a long time, she finally closed her eyes.

Turning her head, she saw Quan Long staring at her.

“Wow, I am hallucinating again. But Why him? Usually It would be mom.’

Knowing that it was all in her head she ignored him, she inhaled a long puff of cigar before blowing it out. “Who cares even if it is injurious to my health?’

Just then her phone rang, Seeing the caller ID, she frowned.

“Why is he calling me so late at night?” She mumbled.
