Qiao Mu immediately became nervous. “What is there to talk about? You did… such a thing to me when I was drunk. What are we even going to talk about? You better not try to evade responsibility!”

The corners of Li Yan’s lips curled up. “You want me to… take responsibility?”

He did not really expect this. For a moment, he did not know how to react to this little thing.

“Of course you must take responsibility. There’s no such thing as a free lunch in this world!” Qiao Mu said firmly. She extended her hand. “I’m not asking for much. 300,000 RMB, and I’ll forget whatever had happened. I promise that I won’t hound you regarding this matter, and that I’ll keep it a secret!”

Li Yan’s smile faded when he heard what Qiao Mu said, and his expression immediately became extremely icy.

He narrowed his eyes, and his gaze was cold. “300,000 RMB?”

Was this what she meant when she asked him to take responsibility? She wanted money from him?
