“I heard your ex-wife is missing, and you are looking for her.”

Bai Shaoming said casually, “I’m currently investigating a case and missing a crucial piece of evidence to crack it. If you could step in, I’m sure we could solve it quickly. What do you think of this trade?”

“Whatever the case is, if I can help, I will.”

Bai Shaoming briefly explained the case and, upon hearing it, Ruan Tianling agreed to help.

“Since Mr. Ruan has graciously agreed, I will fully rely on you for this case.” A relaxed smile curled up at the corner of Bai Shaoming’s mouth, the case that tormented him for two months was finally about to conclude.

“Where is my ex-wife?” Ruan Tianling counter-questioned.

“She is in Orchid Town, D City…”

She had originally intended to bring him a gift, and arrived only to overhear him on a call. She had decided to wait at the door for him to finish.
