Temporary

So, I was temporary.

Just a secret fix to fill your forever empty void. Someone to hold you through your pain. Someone to give you the warmth that you craved. Someone to give you the love that you had always wanted.

It felt nice though, didn't it? It felt different, right?

You said I made you feel wanted, that it felt as though you had known me your whole life.

Maybe you meant it. Or, Perhaps, you just fed me what you thought I wanted, just to keep me close. How am I meant to look away, now that I have seen you?
