Chapter 44

I went to café after I had my practice. It's been two days since Lincon confessed his secret. I avoided him then. I hated the fact that he never told me the truth earlier. I felt betrayed by him, by my parents and by my in laws.

"Lawrence." when I looked up, its Marty.

"Can I join you?" he asked.

"Do what you want." I said in cold voice.

He seated in front of me. "Lawrence, we have few days to go and I don't know if we will see each other again. I just want to say I'm really so sorry about what happened. I know I shouldn't cheated you, whatever reason I have, still I'm wrong to what I'm done. I'm sorry. I hope someday we could say hi if we bump in the street." Marty said seriously.

I look at him." Did you ever love me or you just used me because of the things you want from me?" I asked.

" I really loved you. Is just that..."

"You love yourself more." I interrupted.

"Lawrence, I'm sorry."

It's all clear to me now. Marty love me because he just need me. But Lincon need me because he really do love me without any condition.

I went home. I need to couch my husband and say my sorry.

"Finally your here Lawrence." my mother in law said when I entered the house.

"What happened mom?" she looks worried.

"Your husband came home drunk and he messed your room."

"Drunk? Why is he drunk?" I got worried too.

"I don't know, are you two fighting?"

"N-no mom." I lied. I want to solve our issue personally.

"Go, see your husband. I bet your room was in total messed right now."

I run to our room and quickly open the door. I saw Lincon laying in bed with his eyes closed. As expected, the room is totally messed. I walk toward him.

"Lincon, are you sleeping?" I asked but he didn't replied.

I take away his shoes and socks. I need to make him feel comfortable. I also take away his tie and pants. I left his boxer short. Then unbottoning his shirt.

I get a wet towel to clean him. This is the first time I saw Lincon very drunk. And I really felt guilty because I know it my fault.

After I cleaned him I cover him with the comforter together with me. I stay in his side and hugged him tight.

I wake up with soft kisses landed in my face. I opened my eyes and saw Lincon face near into mine.

I smiled. "Are you sober now?" I asked.

"A little. I just can't help to kiss you. I really miss you babe."

"Then kiss me more here." I pouted my lips. Lincon obeyed. He give a non stop kiss in my lips.

"Are you still angry?" he asked. while still giving me a soft kiss in the lips.

"I'm not angry, I'm just upset." I said while touching his face.

"Im really sorry babe. Please give me another chance to prove my love to you." he begged.

"No need. I know how much you love me sweetheart."

Lincon smile when he heard my endearment. He hugged me tight.

"Thank you babe. And I'm sorry for messing our room."
