Chapter 21

My phone ringing again. I don't want to know how many missed call I have now. I'm so upset. This morning, someone sent me a picture of Lincon and Lorry together. Very sweet. That woman make her way to become more clingy to my husband whenever I'm not around. She's like a leech. Lincon is in his one week business trip abroad. But he didn't tell me the trip is with Lorry, that's the reason why I'm so pissed.

I walk out the room planning to swim to calmed myself without paying attention to my phone. I plan to swim until I get tired.

"Lawrence." my father in law called me.

I get out in pool and picked the towel. "Yes, dad." I answered.

"Lincon called me. Asking for you. According to him you didn't pick up your phone."

"Um..my phone is in silent dad." I said while looking away. I don't want to lie to him.

"Lawrence, is there a problem? You look upset."

"No. Nothing dad."

"This is the first time Lincon asked me about you. He sounds so worried. Did you two fighting?"

I didn't answered. I don't want to add more lies.

"Lawrence, you can tell me what is the problem?" he asked me again.

"Someone sent me a photo of him and Ms Lorry. They look very sweet. I can't help to get mad of it dad."

"I understand. That's mean you getting possessive about your husband. But from the start you know how popular your husband is, especially with women right? In the future you've encounter a lots of like Lorry who's trying to catch attention from your husband. And I believe despite the fact that you're still young but I know you are matured enough to handle this wisely."

"What do you mean dad?"

"Lawrence, Lincon did chose you for no reason. He knows he can trust. You know your position, don't let anyone replace you or take this position from you. You have to know your rights. I hope you understand what I mean."

"Yes dad."

"The first thing you can do is to trust your husband. And tell him what's in your mind. Don't overthinking yet because of that piece of photo. Let Lincon do his explanation first."

I sigh. "Im sorry dad." I apologized.

"For what? It's normal to be jealous."

"J-jealous?"

He smiled. "Go back to your room and change. It's starting to be cold, Lincon don't want you to get sick. And please, answer your husband call. I'm so annoyed with him."

"Yes dad." I'm about to walk back inside. "Thank you dad for enlighten me."

I changed my clothes and ready to sleep when I heard my phone ringing again. I'm hesitant to answer it. I breath deep before I answered.

"H-hello?" I said.

"Finally you answer. What happened?"

"M-my phone is in silent and I got busy doing my school works."

"Did you just make this an excused?"

"No. I'm really busy today."

"Babe, what's the problem?"

"Nothing!" I can't help to speak a little loud.

"Wait, are you mad? Why speak to me like that?"

"I told you, I'm just tired."

"Okey take your rest. We talk when I come back." he said.

I ended the call before he notice that I'm crying. I don't know why I'm like this. I thought it would be better now after talking to my father in law. But when I heard Lincon voice, I felt mad again.
