Chapter 18

"I'm home." I saw my mother in law in the living area. She's with a visitor.

"You're here sweetie. Come, let me introduce someone to you. This is Lorry Suarez, Lincon's childhood friend and business partner." my mother in law said.

"Oh, hi." I said timidly to the visitor.

"Lorry this Lawrence Valnerez, Lincon's husband."

"Nice to meet you Lawrence. I never thought Lincon chose a man for a lifetime partner."

I felt awkwardness in what she said. Did she mean something? But I give her a smile as an answer to her.

"Well, I excuse myself first mom, Im just gonna take a quick shower." I said.

"Sure sweetie. Dad and Lincon is on their way now. And Lorry join us for dinner."

"Okey mom."

I went to our room to take shower before Lincon comes. When I'm done, I open my wardrobe. I was thinking what clothes I can wear for dinner when a knocks on the door interrupt me.

"Yes?"

"Sir, Sir Lincon arrived." the helper said.

"Okey, I'll be down soon." I replied.

"Sir, can I tell you something? The helper asked.

" Wait." I open the door to hear what she's going to say.

" Sir, about the visitor." she said hesitantly.

" Come in." then I closed the door so that no one can hear." What is it?"

" D-did you already met her, Sir?"

"Yes, a while ago."

"Sir, I just want to warn you. She's a snake. She's trying to seduce Sir Lincon many times."

"So she's really close to the family." I said.

"She's been here many times. I-I saw her forcing Sir Lincon to kiss her before. She's so shameless."

"Well, thank you for warning me. I keep that in mind." I said.

"No, problem Sir. I'm your loyal servant."

"Thank you. Now, go down and spy for me."

"Yes Sir." she said and leave the room.

So, I was right. That woman have her own agenda. Maybe she's here to embarrassed me. Well, let  see if she could handle me.

I picked a clothes that comfy but sexy. A jeans that has designs enough to exposed my smooth and pale legs. A white designer t-shirt that give my belly a chance to expose a little. I let my hair wet to look more sexier. Actually, I'm more of cute but sexy. I picked a cologne instead of perfume to smell  more fresh. I look my self to the mirror, and when I'm satisfied I get ready my self to go down.

"The war will begin soon. Let's see who's with a power." I said to myself.

I went down. I saw Lincon and my in laws talking to Lorry. This bitch really leeching my husband. She's too close to Lincon while her eyes like undressing my husband. I made a light noise enough to catch there attention. Lincon rise to his seat when he saw me going down the stairs. He come near me with a smile and guide me down. He kiss me on the cheek.

"Smells good." he whispered.

I just smile to him. He hold my hand while guiding me to seat beside him. "Have you met Lorry?" he asked.

"Yes. Mom introduced us a while ago."

"She's a business partner." he said explaining.

"Come on Lincon, Lawrence with that age didn't know about business. Teenage, just know how to hanging around." Lorry said looking at me.

"Well, I guess not all of it. Some don't prepared partying." I commented.

"Yeah, that's true. Like Lawrence. He is a homebody." Lincon agreed.

"Don't misunderstood me. I'm just saying that in that age, he's maybe not yet interested in business."

"Yeah. For now I'm more concentrated with my study first. And business is for my husband for now but when I finished I'm willing to be more productive to my husband, in his business." I said tactless.

"I believe in you sweetie. You're so smart. In the future you will be Lincon's best business partner." my mother in law said proudly. I saw how Lorry's face turned to a bitch.

In the dinner, Lorry bragging about her childhood memories with Lincon.

"Babe, you don't want the food?" Lincon asked.

"No, I'm not hungry yet." I said. Actually I lost my appetite because I felt so insecure about Lincon and the bitch have in the past.

"Lincon, remember our parents want us to married before. They say we're too compatible. We look great together." Lorry with her big mouth.

That's it! I rise to my chair. "Excuse me, Im gonna filled this dish." I picked the plate and went to kitchen without looking. I'm gonna cry if there's no people around. I don't want to lose in this game.

When I entered the kitchen the helpers having their dinner too.

"Sir, let me do it." the helper insist.

"No, it okey. Go back to your seat and finished your food."

"But Sir..."

"Go, take that plate and serve outside. I'm gonna talk to Lawrence first. And if they asked tell them I'm on my phone with Lawrence." Lincon ordered.

"Yes Sir."

Lincon drag me outside, we ended up in the back garden.

"What do want to talk?"

"Don't mind her, she's just bragging."

"I know." I said

"But you look upset."

"I am. Maybe I'm just insecured."

"Why?"

"Because she know you more than me." he grab me closer.

"I know her from my childhood and I can't do change that babe." he hug me tight.

"I understand."

"What can I do to make you feel better? Do want us to go to bed now?"

"We're not finish our dinner yet."

"But seems you're not enjoying it. Do you want me to cook for you?"

"Seriously?! There's so much food in the kitchen." i said.

"Then tell me, what do you want me to do babe?"

"You can give me kiss." I whispered.

"Really? Wow, this is the thing I'm willing to do every day."

"Shut up." I grab his head to start our kiss.
