Chapter 421 - Wait for My Divorce, Doctor Mu

Tiger called Jing Yichen late at night.

“Master, it turns out that Jing Yiran transferred the shares without asking for money. Instead, he asked for 20% shares of Family Ji’s Enterprise in the bargain.”

Without any expression on the face, Jing Yichen said, “Okay, at least he is not as dumb as a pig. He knows that he needs something valuable in return.”

Although the shares of Family Ji’s Enterprise were not equal to those of Jingsheng Enterprise, yet the shares of Family Ji’s Enterprise were relatively more scattered. Hence, acquiring 20% shares of Family Ji’s Enterprise was a big deal in Family Ji. In Family Jing’s case, however, Jing Yichen had almost all the shares, so even if Ji Bo got 20% shares of Jingsheng, he still wouldn’t have much say in Jingsheng’s affairs.

The shares of Jingsheng were extremely valuable. So were the shares of Family Ji’s Enterprise.

Jing Yichen had thought that Jing Yiran would exchange the shares for money to secure his future. But it seemed that he was not stupid enough not to be aware of how much more valuable shares were as compared to money.

In this way, Jing Yiran would be able to control Ji Bo.

Jing Yichen didn’t need to use any forces to get back the shares of Jingsheng. As long as he could get 20% shares of Family Ji’s Enterprise possessed by Jing Yiran plus some other operations, Ji Bo would deliver back the shares of Jingsheng without hesitation.

“Go and check who was the original shareholder of the transferred shares. They can’t possibly have come from Ji Bo. He would not give his own shares, no matter what.”

“Yes, Master, we are on it. But Family Ji is concealing the information really effectively right now and we might need some more time to figure it out.”

“Okay.”

“Also, Yang Muyan has just gone to Family Mu’s Hospital to look for Doctor Mu. Do we need to send forces to keep Doctor Mu safe?”

Jing Yichen nodded to himself. He had suspected that Yang Muyan would visit Mu Qing sooner than later. “No need. Stay outside the hospital. She won’t be a match against Mu Qing.”

At Family Mu’s Hospital, Mu Qing was very surprised to see Yang Muyan entering his cabin in an elegant manner. But he recovered quickly.

“What brought you here, Mrs. Ji? Oh yes, congratulations on marrying a lovely man. President Ji is one of the most handsome young men of A City and had way too many girls running after him for a long time. But you are the final winner!”

He looked enthusiastic and friendly, wearing a bright smile as if he was very happy to meet Yang Muyan. Yet the smile didn’t reach his eyes. He was alert and on his guard.

He knew that Yang Muyan was extremely devious. She had been famous for being a really smart kid in A City since her childhood. Although few people met her after she grew up, yet her tales were spread amongst the people of A city.

She was intelligent, smart, and fierce!

Mu Qing had no idea why Yang Muyan was here today. He knew that she had been interested in him long ago but didn’t think that she would be harbouring any deep feelings for him after so many years.

Also, she had married Ji Bo and become the daughter-in-law of Family Ji. So she would not do anything beyond the norms.

But Mu Qing was completely wrong.

Yang Muyan had never attached any importance to Family Ji. Her marriage with Ji Bo was nothing more than a trade. She didn’t behave like a daughter-in-law of that family.

She came to Mu Qing now because her position had just stabilised, due to Ji Bo’s official backing.

She came to Mu Qing exactly one day after her marriage.

She spoke in a straightforward and blunt manner. “Doctor Mu, you are not married yet, are you? Don’t get hitched this year, we will get married when I get divorced.”

Mu Qing got so startled that he almost fell off the chair.

What the heck? Did he hear wrong?

She wanted to marry him?

She had just got married the day before and was here already, asking him to wait for her divorce? Was she totally mental?

She was indeed the hideous woman of Family Yang, careless and shameless.

Yang Muyan had publicly announced in A City, years ago that she was going to marry Mu Qing and bring a dowry worth tens of billions with her to the Mu family. She had even claimed that she would not marry anyone else in this life!

That announcement had scared Mu Qing so much that he nearly shut himself at home due to rumours floating around about him. People tittered behind his back and said that he was a handsome young man who would marry a hideous woman for money.

Mu Qing wanted to slay Yang Muyan alive when he was reminded of the humiliation back then.

And now she even dared to come to the hospital to ask him to marry her? Why should he?

She had the audacity to ask him to wait for her divorce this year!

Bah!

He didn’t want such a woman.

Mu Qing didn’t have any prejudice towards divorced women. It was totally acceptable if a woman chose to divorce a scumbag and start a new life.

But he would rather die than marry a woman like Yang Muyan!

She was making it sound as if he adored her so much.

What was it about him that had impressed this demoness? He would change that trait of his right away.

Mu Qing almost couldn’t maintain his fake smile. Recovering from the shock, he said politely, “I think there is a misunderstanding, Mrs. Ji. I am already married!”

Yang Muyan stared at him.

Mu Qing’s handsome face and angelic expressions were visible to her clearly and he looked charming, dressed in a white gown with a grey sweater peeping from inside. His short hair made him look full of energy and youthfulness.

This was exactly the sort of man she liked. Her heart throbbed at the sight of him even after so many years. She still wanted him!

She must have this man. Anyone who wanted to take him away from her was going to die.

“I have checked that you are not married. Lying doesn’t work with me. You won’t have to wait for long. Within six months to one year, I will get a divorce.”

Yang Muyan sounded hoarse but showed a very sweet smile to Mu Qing.

However, maybe it was because she hadn’t smiled for a long time, it looked totally unnatural. The combination of her pale face and white teeth made her look like a ghost in Mu Qing’s eyes.

Mu Qing cursed Jing Yichen repeatedly in his heart – Master Jing always landed him in a mess and expected him to clean it up.

He had gotten rid of the woman but now she had come back because of Jing Yichen.

What was wrong with Yang Muyan? Either she looked hideous or sounded horrifying. But she was always so confident and manipulative.

Mu Qing started to feel terribly sorry for himself.
