He took some painkillers and felt a little bit better. Then he drove to pick up Shangguan Rouxue and got to the Civil Affairs Office.

Shangguan Rouxue was very happy. Marrying Xie Zhuojun had been her dream since she was in her teens. The moment she met him, she had fallen for his handsome face and his soft temperament.

She had used all the schemes and methods to drive away all other women away from him, including Shangguan Ning, who used to be engaged with him. And today, her wish had been realized – she was marrying Xie Zhuojun.

Tiger understood and passed on Jing Yichen’s order to his men.

Shangguan Ning had no idea about all that Jing Yichen had done. She was just confused about Xie Zhoujun, who came to Jingsheng once again.

“Mr. Xie, are you deaf or just plain stupid? Didn’t I tell you not to come here again?”

All she said was, “okay” and then walked out of the conference room.

Of course Shangguan Ning didn’t care about him. He shouldn’t have come to her in the first place. He realised that just because he had told Ning that Shangguan Rouxue wouldn’t bother her anymore, it didn’t mean that Shangguan Ning was ready to forgive her.

That Shangguan Rouxue married Xie Zhuojun was something Shangguan Ning already accepted four years ago. She wasn’t surprised to hear that they were married.

Shangguan Ning was sure that she wouldn’t feel upset on learning about Xie Zhuojun’s marriage to Shangguan Rouxue. She thought that she would at least feel happy for them, but that wasn’t the case either. She felt nothing.
