Chapter 487: Wedding Day-I
Married To My Billionaire Stepbrother
Finally, there was the wedding day that everyone had been desperately waiting forâespecially Justin and Natalie. Natalie couldnât wait to hang a wall-sized wedding portrait in their home.
Natalie had worked for the past three months on making herself fit and getting rid of all the fat she had accumulated during her pregnancy, getting back to her usual fitness.
All the important guests from the business world were invited, even some from other countries, as Harper and Handrix both had huge business empires.
The wedding was arranged in one of the grand resorts in the Imperial City, with the most comfortable arrangements made for the guests.
Natalie was getting ready inside the suite meant for the bride. Her friends accompanied her, along with Meira and Silviaâwho was not among Natalieâs close friendsâjoining them once in a while in their fun.
As she wore the most beautiful bridal dress, the girls couldnât help but go gaga over her, whistling and praising her with all the compliments and praises they could remember.
"I am telling you, Nat. After seeing you like this, your husband is going to go crazy. Probably soon, Alex and Olive might get one set of twin siblings," Mia teased and caressed Natalieâs flat belly. "It wonât be this flat again."
"Shut up. I am not going through all that again, at least not for a few years," Natalie countered as she observed herself in the mirror. "I love my life like this instead of carrying a round belly for months. Youâll know my pain when you go through it yourself."
Cathy cleared her throat playfully and said, "And I see that day coming soon for Mia."
"Shut up!" Mia warned her. "Always up to talking nonsense."
"I havenât even mentioned the man in the scene, and you say nonsense," Cathy teased and looked at Silvia. "What do you think about my prediction?"
Silvia began, "Hmm, maybe..."
"Ms. Superstar, you better not say a word," Mia interrupted her. "If you have that much time, go resume what you always do. Iâm sure Victor will leave you speechless."
"How, with his sarcastic, rude comments?" Natalie asked.
"Tsk! You are married and still ask the obvious," Cathy teased. "This time Silvia might upgrade it to a kiss or maybe something more."
Silvia narrowed her eyes at her. "While sharing the same home with one handsome rogue, where have you upgraded yourself to?"
"Donât spoil my mood by mentioning him," Cathy frowned. "I wonder when he will just leave that place and never return."
Natalie and Mia shared a meaningful look. Mia asked, "Why donât you leave when you are so bothered?"
"I am very comfortable there, and everything is so approachableâeven the office and market. Where can I get such a perfect place?" Cathy sounded all practical, but...
"Yeah!" Natalieâs tone was teasingly sarcastic. "And that comfortable place had one handsome man in your reach as well. How can you leave it? So understandable."
"Handsome, only to your eyes," Cathy frowned.
"Strong denial is always the first step of acceptance," Mia commented.
"She probably reached the last step of acceptance already, thatâs why sheâs so unwilling to leave that place," Natalie added. "Vincent, after all..."
"Shut up, you two," Cathy frowned. "Stop mentioning him or Iâm leaving this wedding ceremony."
"Ah, donât say that. You are the maid of honour," Silvia said.
"Alright!" Natalie interrupted them. "You three are my maids of honour, so please donât fight among each other. You might have to save it for the groomâs best men."
Miera was silently watching these friends and smiling. She and her friend had some funny conversations once in a while and it reminded her of Olive. âI wonder if she is coming today. She said she was not sure.â Meira sighed.
Justin was getting ready in his suite. On Natalieâs insistence, Vincent and Victor had to be the best men along with Aaron.
Vincent and Victor were ready and were lounging on the couch in the suite with Sebastian, while Noahâbeing the most attentive to his bossâwas by Justinâs side, helping him and preparing everything he might need.
Aaron was also doing his elder brotherâs job of helping Justin.
"Seems like this groom is going to take forever to get ready. How about I take his place?" Vincent commented lazily.
"You donât need to bother, I am here," Victor added.
Sebastian chuckled and said with pride, "How glad I am to see my sister is still in so much demand by handsome men, even after she has given birth to babies. Genes of the Harpers are just so perfectâyou are forever young."
"How about you be smart and hand over your sister to me?" Vincent commented.
Sebastian was about to answer when he felt the coldest glare directed at him. A man standing in front of the mirror was looking at him through it.
Sebastian cleared his throat awkwardly. "Well... itâs up to my sister..."
"If your sister was that smart, she wouldnât be ending up with that annoyance," Vincent commented.
"Would you like to shut your mouth, or would you like to give my wife a garment made out of the skin of a silver-haired deer?" Justinâs cold voice was heard. "I donât mind using my knife skills on peeling some delicate skin."
"As long as she wears it, wonât be a bad thing," Vincent replied with a smug grin. "I would be wrapped around her body entirely."
"You would be hung on the wall of the drawing room for her to watch only," Justin replied. "Might get lucky to see us making out on the couch. Iâll make sure you hear her loud and clear. Just donât catch fire with jealousy and burn yourself to ashes."
Vincent smirked and looked at him, unfazed by what Justin said. "Want to check who made it out to be hung on the wall?"
"Yeah, please go on," Victor said as he lazily leaned back on the couch. "Later, I will hang both of you on the wall and have fun with the angel."
Justin and Vincent glared at him as both of them said at the same time, "You would be the first one to end up there."
"Alright! Stop it now. You guys are just impossible," Sebastian said as he was ready to leave the room. "I am going to my sister and telling her what you three are doing. Letâs see then..."
"Stop!" all three of them said at the same time.
Sebastian stopped, and Justin said, "Donât bother her. We three are fine."
Sebastian looked at the other two, and they immediately nodded.
"See, we are even best men for her sake, though we donât like her husband," Victor chimed in. "Now calm down."
"No need to spoil her happy day," Aaron said.
Noah let out a sigh and thanked Sebastian through his gaze.
These three were simply impossible, and the matters between them would never end. There was only one way to end thisâand that was only when Vincent and Victor found their women.
"Mr. Aiden, itâs time for you to leave," Noah reminded.
Justin looked at his wristwatch to check the time and hummed. Sebastian looked at Vincent and Victor as if to ask them if they had any plan to do the job they were given.
Vincent sighed as he stood up and said, "Only for Natalieâs sake."
Victor followed as he agreed with Vincentâs words.
Justin turned to Aaron. "It would be the first time when everyone will know about the existence of my twin brother."
"I am prepared for it," Aaron assured.
Justin wanted Aaron to finally show up in front of the world instead of being in the shadows. Aaron had his own existence and identity.
"I canât wait to see everyone shocked to see how alike you two look," Sebastian said. "They are waiting to see the twin brother, but I am sure they wouldnât have imagined you two would be so similar."
The groom reached the lavish open resort wedding venue, where all the guests had flooded the place. The sunlight was perfectânot too harshâand a gentle, cold, and soothing breeze was flowing, turning the atmosphere even more pleasant.
The emcee announced the groomâs arrival. All the guests had resumed their places.
As there was time for brideâs arrival, Justin introduced Aaron to everyone. As expected shocked to see another Aiden Handrix, all of them were shocked, but then they understood.
Meanwhile, most of the guests already had the plan to introduce their daughters to Aaron.
