Alpha Duren

I'm really nervous about today's fight, I need to fight these rogues to be accepted into the Alpha

Duren pack.

He is seated now at the front of the mini-stage they called "battlefield".

Arman, Lukas, and Lily are now sitting beside Alpha Duren. Lily is the one who will fight first.

"This fight is for Katharina to be accepted into my Pack. Lily, Lukas, and Arman will fight you. If

Katharina defeats them all, then she will become my pack warrior." He looks at me. "Katharina and

Lily are the first to fight, next are Lukas and then Arman."

I looked around and saw Bill, Tom, Cheska, and Clarisse waving their hands and giving me thumbs

up.

"Lily and Katharina, come on stage right now.” We stepped on the stage looking at each other. I

know Lily will not fight me. She just wanted me to kick her butt and she would surrender. "On the

count of three, the fight would start. ONE! TWO! THREE! Fight!!" Alpha Duren shouted.

She attacked me first using a spinning kick, but before it landed on my face, I caught her leg in the

air and kicked her in the butt.

"Alright, I give up.” She said. She hugged me before leaving the stage.

"Lily, you really are making me laugh because of that scene. Oh well, Lukas, give me some thrill

here." He counted from throne to three again and then we started fighting.

"Do you think you can win?" Lukas.

"I don't think that I can't.” I smiled at him.

He attacks me in no time, he is fast, just like me. This man doesn't know that I am well trained by my

big brother Sam secretly. Since my father doesn't approve of anything, he trained me secretly in the

dungeon or sometimes in the forest, where no one can see us.

Before his fist landed on my face, I caught it in the air. I hold and pull it and then give him an

uppercut.

"Don't underestimate me, Lukas. I have got alpha blood on me and I am trained by my brother. I

could kill you if I wanted to." I whispered in his ears.

"You stupid bitch, you broke my hand" Lukas shouted in pain.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." In a sarcastic tone.

"You'll pay for this.” He punches me in the stomach and punches me in the face.

I anticipated all of his moves, but I want to know his strength. I smirk knowing that I can beat him.

"Why are you smiling?" Lukas.

"Because you're so weak," I said to him. I stood and cleaned myself. "You punch like a girl,” I said,

pushing his patience in the end.

"You!!!" He said before shifting to his wolf.

"You stupid rascal!! Do you want me to kill you?" I said, grabbing my knife at my back and hitting

him in the shoulder. His wolf whimpers in pain. My knife is made of silver. "You need to think first

before you attack and shift," I said. He passed out because of the blood he lost.

"Arman, go on stage and do whatever you want. I will not count now. Go and fight!" Alpha Duren.

Kath, I don't want to be in his pack. My wolf said.

“But why?" I asked.

'I sense something bad in Duren’, my wolf.

“But this is our chance to have a pack again.’ I explained.

'We can find another, but just not here. Something is wrong. You need to lose this one.

“Okay, if that's what you want, I said.

'l want to be in the Royal Fighters, I want their pack.’ She added.

Suddenly, the wind blows and the trees sway, dancing with the wind. I look at my enemy and attack

him first. I knew that he would dodge my punch and kick me, but I didn't do anything. He lifts me

from the floor and throws me into the audience. I landed in front of Alpha Duren.

"Okay, I lost," I said, giving up.

He looked at me and he said the words that I didn't expect to hear.

"Welcome to the pack” Alpha Duren.

"Y-you mean I'm one of your pack members now even though I lost in the third fight?" I said.

"Yes, Katharina and you will be my fighter." He said before leaving me.

"Oh gosh Kath, we're so happy for you." Lily.

"From rogue to a pack member of Alpha Duren, that is great news," said Tom.

I smiled at them.

'We need to leave Katharina.” My wolf said.

Even if I wanted to say yes to her, I needed first to take a look in Alpha Duren territory. Maybe it

changes my wolf decision. I know my wolf. If she doesn't want it, I need to persuade her.

Early in the morning, Alpha Duren sends someone to pick me up. His name is Justin, the Beta of the

Alurious pack. We didn't talk in our own way but I could feel that he was looking at me.

Two hours’ drive and then we arrived at the gate of the packhouse. Justin introduced me to some

pack members and led me to my new room. I live with a female fighter that is located on the second

floor of the park. Then he shows me my room and leaves me saying no words at all. He is strange. I

said to myself.

I lay in the bed and fell asleep.

Duren Point of view

"Is she okay now with her room?"

"Yes Alpha, she's now settled with other female fighters." Justin

"She's perfect to be my mate, Justin. I can see that she is strong, a perfect Luna." I said. I am

fascinated with this girl even though she’s not my mate.

"But what about Kelly? What are you going to do with your real mate?"

"She's staying here also, but she's weak and I can't handle that. I make sure that she will never know

that we are mates." I said.

"Don't play games with the Moon Goddess Alpha, you are destined to be with her, not with this

Alpha-female you've just met." Justin.

"Do not question my decision, Justin. By the way, what's our plan?” I asked.

"The rogue we paid for is dead. We need another one to do our business.”

"Okay then, pick one of our rogues. We need to get more information for our plan,” I said before

dismissing him.

Kelly is my real mate. The moment I shifted, I realized that she is my mate, but I don't like her since

she's an omega and just a cook in this pack. While Katharina surprises me with her skills and with

her bloodline. I know she's stronger than Arman, but what makes her pretend she has lost?

I need to gain her trust, then I will court her. I just needed to win her heart for her to accept me as

her mate.
