Chapter 4180
The First Heir
That young man was none other than Maurina!
Maurina had a splitting headache. He looked up at the other person after hearing the voice.
He found a withering old man with a hunched back in coarse linen clothes looking at him with a kind
smile.
That look seemed to soothe Maurinaâs mind, and his head no longer ached.
Seeing that Maurina was silent, the old man smiled and asked, âHow are you feeling? Okay?â
Maurina quickly checked himself and said, âIâm fineâ¦â
The old man nodded and said, âThatâs good to hear, but what were you doing lying on the mountain
path? Were you too tired? If my granddaughter hadnât seen you, Iâm afraid the wolves wouldâve taken
you by now.â
The old man seemed a little concerned and blamed Maurina for his action, but Maurina was startled.
Mountain path?
What mountain path?
He only had one memory in his mind now, but it was in a mess. The only clear thought was the
conversation between the old man and his granddaughter earlier.
Maurina frowned as he realized he could not remember who he was!
A pained look gradually appeared in Maurinaâs eyes as he tried to recall but to no avail.
Seeing Maurinaâs appearance, the old man frowned and quickly said, âItâs okay, young man. If you canât
remember anything, stop thinking about it. Just have a good rest and maybe itâll come back to you.â
Maurina turned a deaf ear to the old man. He clenched his right fist and hit his head twice but still could
not remember anything. However, his headache grew more intense, and Maurina was soon knocked
unconscious by the pain again.

âStefan, canât you recall where your home is?â A very cute little girl with pigtails blinked her eyes and
asked Ishac.
It had been three months since Maurina woke up, but he could not remember anything except his
name.
Maurina smiled and said, âNo, and I donât think thereâs a need to think about it. Life is pretty good
nowâ¦â
Although he said that, Maurina still tried to recall who he was every day, but he would end up with a
headache and falling into a coma. However, he had a feeling that he would solve this problem very
soon.
âOkay, will you stay with me from now on?â the little girl asked.
Maurina felt a sudden surge of tenderness.
He knelt, hugged Jane, and said, âOf course. Youâre such a cute little girl. Why wouldnât I stay with
you?â
After staying here for three months, Maurina was very familiar with his surroundings. He was in a small
valley surrounded by mountains.
Other than Stefan, an outsider, only four members of this family lived here, the old man, Jane, and
Janeâs parents.
Many wild beasts such as wolves and leopards lived on the mountain too, but they hardly approached
this area.
They simply stood at the entrance of the valley and looked over here with greedy eyes. However, none
of the wild beasts entered the village, which puzzled Ishac.
Maurina asked the old man but did not receive an exact answer.
