Chapter 96 Hiring Li Bingbing

"You want to hire Li Bingbing?" Xia Meilin asked while she was sitting on the sofa in the living room.

She lowered down the volume of the TV and turned to Lu Yifeng, giving her full attention to him.

"She’s good with the computer. I want to hire her." If it’s getting information of some kind, Li Bingbing was the right person for it. Even he has to admit that Li Bingbing was better than the hacker he has.

"I’m not sure about that but... I’ll ask her."

Lu Yifeng nodded. He went and sat beside his wife and watched her take out her phone.

Li Bingbing may be someone who almost killed Lu Xian Yu in his past but he can do something to change it. He has changed many things now so he will save his brother from getting hunted down.

In his past, after killing Feng Ning, every details of Lu Xian Yu was given to his enemies. This include where he was and where he was hiding.

One hacker was the one who spread his whereabouts to his enemies that’s why Lu Xian Yu has to keep on hiding the whole time now.

In the end, even if he kept on hiding, his whereabouts were still found and because of this, he almost encountered death so many times because of the surprise attacks from his enemies.

That hacker who keeps on finding where he was, was none other than Li Bingbing.

Lu Yifeng was supposed to meet his brother after Xia Meilin’s burial but Lu Yifeng was killed by Xia Sinian in the end. That’s why, he doesn’t know what may happen after that.

Li Bingbing’s phone was ringing for a while. Xia Meilin thought that Li Bingbing wasn’t going to answer but it was picked up before she can end it.

"Hello? Meimei?" Li Bingbing’s voice sounded hoarse and tired.

"You okay?" Xia Meilin asked worriedly after hearing how she sounded.

"Yeah. Just tired." There was a pause from her line before Xia Meilin was able to heard, "Get off me." From the other line.

"So? Why did you call?"

Xia Meilin instantly know that Li Bingbing wasn’t alone so she said, "Let’s talk in private."

"Okay. Wait a moment."

Xia Meilin heard some movements from the other line before she heard a door creak.

"So, what is it that you want to talk about?" Li Bingbing asked after she yawned.

"My husband wants to hire you."

"Ah?"

"He wants to hire you."

Li Bingbing was quiet for a while, as if thinking about it. "I have my conditions. If it isn’t met then I have to decline his offer."

Xia Meilin put Li Bingbing on speaker.

"State your conditions." Lu Yifeng said as he looked at the phone.

"I need you to take your brother away from me. If you can’t do that, I want a place where he’s not there. Give me back my private life and make sure he won’t disturb me or know where I am. If you can do this then I’ll work for you."

Lu Yifeng turned to Xia Meilin as if asking what is the relationship between Li Bingbing and his brother, with his eyes.

’Complicated’ Xia Meilin mouthed.

"Come on, Lu Yifeng. I can even work as a maid in your place just get me out of here. I’m sorry if I’m going to be rude but your f*cking brother is insane. Locking me up in this place and even making me his woman without getting my permission, he’s one crazy bast*rd. I can’t wait to kill him but since he is your brother, I won’t. Just give me my quiet life back and take him somewhere far from me then we’re all good!"

Xia Meilin sighed. "I warned you about him, you didn’t listen."

"You didn’t say that he was such a control freak and stalker."

"I said that he was dangerous."

"I can handle danger but I can’t handle a delusional freak!"

"Okay." Lu Yifeng’s low voice was heard.

"Ah?"

Lu Xian Yu reminded Lu Yifeng of his past life. No wonder Li Bingbing tried to get him killed.

Lu Yifeng sighed. They were indeed brothers. "I agree with your conditions. I can help you with my brother."

Li Bingbing’s eyes sparkled. Lu Yifeng was her saviour! "Oh boss! You’re the best! I promise I will never fail you! I will do my best to work hard for you, boss!"

"I haven’t accepted you yet."

"Ah? Didn’t you say that you want to hire me?" Li Bingbing pouted. "I’m really amazing! Whatever information you want, I can get it within a day! No- not a day, make it two hours!"

"Can you find a missing person for me?" Lu Yifeng asked calmly.

"Well of course I can! If you’re wondering how fast, that will be depending on the situation but the best I can give you is half a day or a day."

For Lu Yifeng, that wasn’t fast enough but it was faster than his current hacker. "If you can find Bai Xiu Ying within today then I will let you work for me."

"Oh! Sure, sure! I will do that~ But please call Lu Xian Yu and tell him not to disturb me. He has deprived me of my laptop and computer, he needs to give it back to me." Since Lu Xian Yu was worried about Li Bingbing’s abilities, he never allowed her to touch any computers.

"I’ll give him a call after this."

Xia Meilin ended the call. She felt so embarrassed just by hearing Li Bingbing’s words. "I’m... sorry about that. Bingbing is always weird."

Lu Yifeng chuckled as he saw how red his wife’s face was. He leaned and cornered her on the sofa. "She’s right. Serve me well on bed, darling. Lets go for another round of baby making?"

Xia Meilin pushed him away and quickly run out of the living room. She will not be fooled by him again!
