Chapter 80 I like her

Since Lu Xian Yu was curious about Li Bingbing’s past relationships, he ordered someone to look into it. He found out that Li Bingbing only dated one person and it was Xia Sinian.

Lu Xian Yu was filled with anger when he learned about this. Li Bingbing lied to him. With the way she started acting and with the way she started rejecting his advances, Lu Xian Yu was able to tell that Li Bingbing was still into Xia Sinian.

Of course, he couldn’t do anything about Xia Sinian since he was the brother of Xia Meilin. With that, Xia Sinian was protected from the things that Lu Xian Yu can possibly do to him.

The best way to get first-hand information about Li Bingbing and Xia Sinian is to go to Xia Meilin and ask her directly about them. He has to know how strong his enemy is first before he plans his moves.

"How long was he dating Li Bingbing?" This was the first thing he asked. He was so direct that Xia Meilin couldn’t help but be surprised.

"Why are you asking this?" Xia Meilin asked as she narrowed her eyes.

Lu Xian Yu smiled. "I am just curious, sister. No need to get wary. Bingbing and I are friends. I just noticed that she has been acting strange lately so I want to help understand her."

"Hm, oh really?" Xia Meilin was still doubting him. She was trying to think about what kind of possible reasons he may have to ask this.

"Yes, yes, I am saying the truth." He chuckled. He walked towards her and sat on the couch.

Well... Xia Meilin doesn’t find anything wrong with telling him about Li Bingbing’s past, but Li Bingbing was her best friend and Xia Sinian was her brother, she was not going to sell them out. "I think it’s not my position to tell you about the things that happened in their past."

Little Melon was in the room the whole time, ignoring them as he continued to look at his picture books, but this time, he made a side comment. "Does uncle Xian Yu likes sister Bingbing?"

Little Melon was looking at them with a blank face. He was acting more like his father whenever he’s like this.

Little Melon has never met Li Bingbing in person but he has met her through the video calls that his mother makes whenever they were still in London.

"But momma is the prettiest!" Little Melon quickly added.

Xia Meilin chuckled. "Thank you, baby."

Lu Xian Yu laughed lightly before he stood up. "I’ll teach you how to win a woman’s heart once I come back, little Mello."

Little Melon nodded happily, "Okay! Come back soon, uncle!"

He looked at Xia Meilin. "Sister, I’ll take my leave now."

"Don’t ever come back. I don’t want you to ruin my innocent son." Xia Meilin said with a glare.

Lu Xian Yu pouted, "I’m just going to help him be a man."

Little Melon’s eyes sparkled. "Mello wants to be a man!"

"See?" Lu Xian Yu grinned. "He’ll grow up just to be like his uncle!"

Little Melon quickly shook his head. "Mello wants to grow up like dada!"

"If you want to give lessons to a kid, go get yourself one. Don’t involve my son." Xia Meilin crossed her arms and turned away from him.

Lu Xian Yu sulked, "You’re being cold to me, sis."

"You’re acting like a bad influence for my son so that can’t be helped." She chuckled. She turned to Little Melon. "Don’t listen to whatever your uncle Xian Yu says, okay? Listen only to your mom and dad."

Little Melon nodded obediently.

"I’m being bullied here so I’m going to take my leave now." He sulked. His head was down as he left them there.
