Chapter 236 - A promise is a promise

Thanks to her brother, Lu Xingyan was able to fall back to sleep. Every time she had that nightmare, she couldn’t sleep again in fear of having the same bad dream that night that’s why she would always stay up until the following morning.

"I’m going back to sleep." The younger twin lay down and hugged a pillow as she faced her back to her sister. She closed her eyes as she tried to fall back to sleep.

"Meimei!" Lu Weichun slapped her butt. "Come on!"

The slap startled poor Xingyan. She turned to her sister with a glare in her eyes. Through gritted teeth, she carefully threatened, "Do you want me to tell gege about him?"

"What do you mean ’him’?" Lu Mello stood up, dusting off his butt.

In an instant, Lu Weichun’s good mood was altered. The bright look on her face changed in the next second.

Lu Xingyan was satisfied with the look that her sister was giving her. She snickered inwardly before she turned away and closed her eyes, "Nothing. I was just saying nonsense."
