Chapter 233 - Boyfriend

The Lu family enjoyed their day on the beach. Their villa wasn’t far from the seaside so after a long day, they all headed home.

The children went to their respective rooms, tired after a long day. The most tired among them was Lu Weichun that was why Lu Xingyan was currently giving her sister a massage on her shoulders.

"Where do you plan on studying, meimei?" Lu Weichun asked, her back facing towards her sister.

"I haven’t really thought about it yet." She replied. "But... maybe in Guangzhou. I want to live with grandma and study somewhere nearby her place." She continued to give her sister’s back a massage.

"I guess this will be our first separation ever huh?" Lu Weichun closed her eyes, feeling good with the massage her sister was giving. "I’m going to miss this one."

She chuckled lightly, "I’m kind of worried tho. You won’t be able to copy homework from me." Lu Xingyan teased.

"I can still do that homework on my own." She huffed and pouted. "I may not be smart as you but I can still work on my own you know."

In school, Lu Xingyan was known to be the brightest student among everyone. She would always top every exam. On the other hand, Lu Weichun was an average student, her grades were not that high but she never failed an exam. Her area of expertise was more on extracurricular activities. She excelled at every sport she played.

"You can just call me if you encountered a problem with your studies." Lu Xingyan offered. She has always been gentle with her sister and helped her in her studies so even if they were going to study in a different school this time, it was not going to stop her from helping her sister around.

Lu Weichun giggled happily at her sister’s words. "Thanks, meimei. If you want any dating advice, you can always ask me."

"I’m not going to date anyone. I want to focus on my studies first." The younger twin was serious when she told her father that she wasn’t going to date.

"You really are a good girl, aren’t you? There’s no wrong in dating you know. We’re young, we should have fun and do what we want."

"It will only hinder me in my studies." She said with a serious tone. "You, on the other hand... I hope dad and gege will not catch you."

"I’ll be really careful, don’t worry, meimei."

"So... Are you going to break up with him?" Lu Xingyan asked as she looked at her twin’s smiling face which was soon replaced by a frown upon hearing her words.

"I’m just going to change schools. Ah! I should tell senior Fan!" Lu Weichun sat up and quickly took her phone from the desk that was on the side of her pillow. "Maybe I can just enroll in the same school as him! Their university has a high school division so we’ll be near each other even if he’s in college~"

Lu Xingyan sighed, "Seriously, jiejie. I don’t know why you’re even interested in that guy."

Fan Jingli is Lu Weichun’s current boyfriend. A first-year university student who has been chatting her sister for a year now.

Her elder twin sister was able to know him from a famous dating app and when they started to become close, they’ve started meeting each other during the weekend. Recently, he asked Lu Weichun to be his girlfriend and she happily accepted it so right now, they have been dating for two months already.

"He’s handsome, smart, a total gentleman. The perfect guy one can ever ask for." Lu Weichun said with a grin.

"That’s the problem. He’s too perfect. I think there must be something wrong with him." Lu Xingyan muttered under her breath which her sister wasn’t able to hear it.

She knew that her elder twin was just going to defend that guy no matter how much she says something against him.

Lu Xingyan was against the idea of them dating. Even if she wanted to look into that man’s normal life, she couldn’t do anything. She can’t just order her father’s men to investigate him, right?

Those men will surely tell their father first before they can even start investigating that is why she can only give her sister advice.

"Be careful, jiejie. Remember, you are a Lu. He might just be dating you because of that."

"He doesn’t know. There are other Lu so he won’t know that I’m from the rich Lu if I won’t tell him." Lu Weichun huffed while she was busy typing on her phone. "Just accept it, meimei. What we have is true love."

Her sister was still so childish and innocent, Lu Xingyan was becoming worried. Unlike her, Lu Weichun can be easily deceived by others.

It suddenly made her hesitate whether or not she should really study in a different school from her sister.

She was worried. No one was there to guide her sister if she studied somewhere else. What if Fan Jingli was actually using her?

Lu Xingyan watched her sister smile as she chatted with her boyfriend.

She only wished for her sister’s happiness but if that man was just going to play around with her sister, then she was not going to hold back.

She may always have been a gentle girl towards everybody but no one witnessed her wrathful revenge yet. There was once a saying that when quiet, calm people get angry, they are scarier than loud and explosive ones.

Just then, a soft ringtone was suddenly heard in the room.

"Eek! He’s calling! He’s calling!" The phone almost fell from Lu Weichun’s hand since it surprised her. It was only normal for her to get all excited since she has never shared a call with her boyfriend.

In Lu Xingyan’s eyes, Lu Weichun looked like a woman dumb for love and this only irked her.

"I-I should answer..." She looked at her sister, "How do I look? Do I look pretty?"

Oh dear, sister... It’s just a call... It was not like he was going to see her through call... Unless it was a video call, right?

Lu Xingyan went and grabbed the phone from her twin.

"Hey! Xingyan!"

The call soon ended because no one answered it.

"Give it back to me!" Lu Weichun reached out and tried to grab her phone back but her sister moved away, avoiding her.

Lu Xingyan saw the messages they shared with each other, making her raise a brow in disgust.

[Baby Jingli: Can I call?]

[Yes.]

Ew. His name on her phone is ’Baby Jingli’?

She turned to her sister and frowned, "Why do you look surprised when he already asked you for permission?"

Lu Weichun blushed, "I-I was just excited! Now give me back my phone!"

The phone vibrated as a new message arrived.

[Baby Jingli: Why didn’t you answer it?]

"Lu Xingyan, what are you doing?" Lu Weichun stood up when she saw her sister typing, giving her boyfriend a reply.

"I’m going to sleep with gege tonight." After sending Fan Jingli a reply, Lu Xingyan gave the phone back to her sister before she left the room.

Lu Weichun checked the message Lu Xingyan sent and she ended up frowning deeply, "Lu Xingyan!"

Well... Her younger twin only gave a rude reply to Fan Jingli.
