"Shh..don't make noise" Sitaara whispered to Naman, Drithi, Dhruv Akhira and other family members. They nodded placing their finger on their lips. Walking slowly towards her kids' room, she opened the door and found her symbol of love for Abhi sleeping peacefully. She walked to them and kissed their foreheads with a huge smile.
"Shall we?" Disha asked emotionless as she is since Riaan left. She nodded. Aman and Suman switched on lights and looked at their grandsons with pride.
"Sammy, Shami" she tried to wake them up. They squirmed and hugged each other. She smiled.
"Come on, monkeys. Wake up" she said. Pouting their lips they tried to open their eyes. Naman and Dhruv burst out popper making kids flinch.
"Happy Birthday, Samhith and Shamith" everyone screamed. They sat up giggling in happiness.
"Mumma it's my birthday, my birthday" Shamith and Samhith shouted hugging Sitaara. Sitaara smiled kissing their heads.
"Happy Birthday, my monkeys," she said smiling and kissing their cheeks. Samhith sat on his knees and pecked Sitaara's lips.
"Sammy, how can kiss mumma?" Shamith yelled at Samhith and hugged Sitaara by her neck pecking her lips.
"Shami, move away from mumma" Samhith pushed Shamith. Sitaara held him before he fall.
"Sammy, say sorry to your brother," Sitaara said sternly glaring at him. Samhith took Shamith in his embrace and kissed his head.
"Am sorry, Shami. Mumma is ours" Samhith said hugging Sitaara. Shamith smiled and hugged both his brother and his mom. Sitaara smiled.
"Sorry to interrupt your mom and sons moment but if we cut the cake, I have some work with my wife," Said Dhruv looking at Akhira who became red.
"Even I had plans tonight with my wife as Sushanth slept early after a long time," said Naman with a smirk. Drithi slapped his back blushing. Sitaara giggled at her brothers in law who became much shame full than Abhi to speak about their things even after becoming parents. Well, Naman and Drithi gave birth after two years after Sitaara gave birth to her sons and they named their son, Sushanth and now, Drithi is 7 months pregnant again while Dhruv and Akhira are parents of 6 months old, Supreet, their son.
"Okay, I agree shamelessness runs in our family but sons, you guys don't need to prove it because we have seen our daughters in law in many embarrassing situations," Aman said chuckling. Everyone laughed.
"Thatha(grandfather) even I am shameless" Shamith shouted.
"Me too. I am shameless too" Samhith joined him making Sitaara wide her eyes and others laughed at them and their talks.
"Stop this, let's cut the cake," Sakshi said. They nodded. Sitaara made both her sons sit on her lap while Naman and Dhruv arranged the table and cake with many chocolate candies around the table.
"Mumma, see, we got the cake. You didn't let us eat yesterday and today, we have one for us" Shamith whispered in Sitaara's ears.
"Well, baby, you are not gonna eat more than what I serve you," she said with a smile.
"Mumma it's my birthday" Shamith whined. Sitaara showed her tongue to him and turned to cake.
"Com'on shameless kids, make a wish," Dhruv said with a grin while Sitaara glared at him.
"God, I want to stand first in class like every time. I want to get all the trophies in sports. I don't want Varnika to follow behind me. I want all my friends to be away from her. Give me strength to protect her" Samhith said loudly with closed eyes. Everyone laughed at his third wish.
"God, I want to kick P.E. Sir in his groin. I want my principal to get beaten by his wife. I want to defeat Varshith in every fight. I want to make my friendship strong with Kranthi and Vachan, beating every guy who comes in my way. I want all my friends to be away from her. Give me strength to protect her" Shamith said loudly with closed eyes. Sitaara widened her eyes slapping his back slightly at his words while Naman and Dhruv encouraged him.
That's how her two sons are. Samhith Raj is best at academics while Shamith Raj is best at beating his fellow kids. Sammy is a calm and conservative boy while Shami is a rebel boy. Sammy brings trophies home while Shami brings baggage of complaints home. Sammy is felicitated for his best academics on every annual day while Shami isn't allowed to even step into any kind of function tagging as a 'trouble maker' though he is just a 5-year-old kid. Sammy is adored by teachers while Shami is hated by teachers. Sammy doesn't maintain a group of friends while Shami maintains a gang at a very younger age. Sammy respects even his enemies while Shami reciprocates what he gets. Sammy talks politely while Shami talks with his actions beating the crap out of other parties. Even in between many differences, they have a common trait. Possessiveness for their mom and of her.
"Common, buddies, cut the cake. Your aunt seems desperate" Naman teased Drithi. They chuckled and cut the cake.
Sitaara made her kids take blessings from elders holding their feet and made them feed cake. Later, she fed them a cake.
Once the celebration ended, everyone went back to their room while Shamith and Samhith were on a video call with their maternal grandparents, uncles-aunts and cousins.
After ending the call, she tucked them under the bed. They looked at her with tears.
"Stay with us for tonight, mumma. We feel sad as dada isn't with us" they mumbled as a tear rolled down their cheeks.
"No monkeys, no crying. You see, dada is struck with some work and may take a few days to come back but he sent you both gifts. Many" she said tried to pacify them.
"He didn't attend even our last two birthday's, mumma" Shamith said gritting his teeth.
"Oh, God! Sammy, did you see dark circles under Shami's eyes? He looks ugly with them under his eyes. How can he look like that, when tomorrow it's his birthday party? Everyone will laugh at him, kadha(isn't it?) And, Shami did you see how Sammy's eyes are red? He might look like a ghost tomorrow at a birthday party" Sitaara said making faces. Boys looked at each other and gasped dramatically.
"Yes, mumma. We need to look handsome. Will you tell us stories and make us sleep?" Sammy asked. She nodded smiling and laid beside both. They grinned hugged her wrapping both their hands and legs on her.
She started telling them the story as it's their usual habit. Since Abhi used to read stories when she was pregnant, it continued after giving birth too, to which the boys became habituated. Sitaara stopped telling stories when she felt their harsh breaths. She smiled caressing their hair and kissing their heads before switching off the lights.
She looked at the ceiling with a mixture of happy and sad tears. Her life changed a lot in these five years. Abhi though became possessive of her more, fell in love with her more, though she reciprocated the same, still, he couldn't make time for her and the kids due to his busy schedule. It's not that Abhi is always away from his kids but sometimes when they need him, the circumstances made him be away which he regrets badly. Though he doesn't show his love towards his kids like every father who pamper them, play with them, buy them everything, he never failed to express his love through actions, he never left his kids hands making them walk in the right path, always making sure they need to learn how to stand on their own feet without their billionaire father's support. But even in all these, kids kinda created a distance from him. Sammy became a mumma's boy and Shami became a little trouble maker unable to understand their father's love for them. Sitaara started the educational institutes all over the country with many branches giving free education to merit students irrespective of their caste or financial status, but, she gave her hundred per cent looking after the kids. She gives seminars to many students in various states on a few topics that are difficult to understand.
Sitaara suddenly saw a silhouette inside. She became alert and held Shamith's cricket bat which was next to the bed. The silhouette came closer and she sighed in relief when she recognized it was her husband. She shut her eyes immediately even before he saw her. Leaning to his sons, he placed a kiss on their heads.
"Happy birthday, monkeys. Dada made it out this time as he promised. Let's rock your day. And...and..I-I l-o-ve y-y-ou bo-th" he said for the first time after that day when he held them in his arms for the first time. Sitaara smiled at his hesitance. According to him, he feels that expressing love towards his kids may spoil them. Since Sitaara and everyone at home pamper them a lot more than other kids because they are firstborns, he doesn't want to pamper too, making them brats.
Abhi leaned to Sitaara and pecked her lips.
"I know you aren't sleeping. Open your eyes" he whispered caressing her cheeks. She swatted his hands opening her eyes.
"Get out" she whisper-yelled.
"Baby, my sweetheart, I came to meet you and our sons travelling across the continents, oceans while these idiots are sleeping like logs and you are getting angry at me. That's not fair" he said pouting. She looked away hiding her smile.
"I thought you wouldn't come. Sammy cried while Shami is hella angry at you" Sitaara said sitting up and crossing her arms over her chest.
"They will come around happily tomorrow morning. Now, you tell me, you knew, I would be coming and that's why you wore saree isn't it?" He asked taking his seat beside Samhith.
"I wore it because...because it's my sons birthday," she said not looking at him and her blush on fair cheeks were telling another story. He smirked.
"Like you know me much better than I do, I know you more than you know yourself. So, let's get into our sessions of knowing each other more" he said and lifted her in his arms.
"Mani, I can't now. They asked me to sleep beside them" she whispered wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Oh come on, Sitaara, since they are born, I can count on my fingers the number of times we made love," he said.
"But Mani-"
"No more talks" he mumbled ambling to the door and closing it with his leg and they entered the room which is just beside the kids' room as rooms are connected with a single door.
"Mani, our sons-"
He threw her on the bed and attacked her lips. She tried to push him and talk but he didn't give her a chance to open her mouth working on it making her give in.
He sensually made love to her all night without a break even for a second while she was a moaning mess making her sound echo in the whole room.
***
Abhi rolled on his side panting while Sitaara closed her eyes with a satisfactory smile as it's been a long time, maybe after two and half years they had time for themselves. They both turned to each other and chuckled at their madness. Moving closer he kissed the tip of her nose tucking her wet strand behind her ear.
"I love you" she mumbled. He smiled.
"I love you too, sweetheart" he mumbled pulling her to his chest with closed eyes.
"It's morning" she mumbled patting his cheeks.
"Let's sleep for some time" he whispered.
"Kids will wake up" she said snuggling into his chest.
"Mom will handle them. It's fine to sleep for an hour" he mumbled.
"Did you check on her?" She asked though he knew what would the answer be.
"I did. Before meeting you and our monkeys, I met her. She was sleeping peacefully hugging my picture" he said as a huge smile touched his lips. Sitaara turned away pouting. He moved closer and placed his chin on her arm.
"I love you" he mumbled and placed a kiss on side of her temples. She pushed him angrily.
"Com'on sweetheart, you don't have to be jealous of her-"
"Am not. Am not jealous of her. Neither now nor ever. But you know what, I hate you. Like serious hatred towards you, with my everything, I hate you" she yelled with tears. He chuckled while she glared at him.
"Why are you laughing?" She yelled again. He pulled her on top of him and hugged her tightly kissing her neck while she tried to push him.
"Leave me" she hissed. He smirked and loosened the hold. She looked at him with tears and slapped him.
"You should never leave me, idiot. How dare you go and meet her before you met me?" She cried. He smiled and caressed her cheeks.
"Due to your continuous screams because of our wonderful night, your voice seems hoarse" he whispered and laughed. She pushed him and got down the bed wrapping herself in the duvet completely while he is naked. Sitaara turned around and froze seeing their sons at door entering inside just then.
"Baby, am sorry. It's just I met her because..." Abhi trailed off seeing their sons.
"Dada, why are you naked?" Sammy asked, horrified with his palms over his eyes.
"And why all your clothes are on the floor while mumma is wrapped in a duvet?" Shamith asked crossing his arms over his chest. Abhi immediately pulled the bedsheet and wrapped it around him.
"Didn't you close the door last night?" She whispered glaring at him.
"I just kicked it with my leg and thought it got locked automatically" he whispered.
"You are such an ass, Mani. You just made us stand in front of sons like teenagers who got caught by parents while making love" she hissed.
"Mumma, what's happening? Why are you both whispering?" Samhith shouted. She looked at them startled.
"Well, monkeys, dada is back. Have a chat with him while I have a shower" she said and ran away picking all the clothes from the ground. Shamith stood there glaring at Abhi while he was avoiding his sons' gaze.
"Dada, how did you get such great abs and biceps?" Shamith asked walking to him making him sigh in relief.
"Before answering, I want to wish you both," he said with his poker face and took them in his arms.
"Happ-"
"You smell like mumma, dada" Samhith said cutting off Abhi. He gave a blank look as he chose the best way to avoid his son's comment.
"Well, let me wish you, happy birth-"
"Dada, your neck is hurt and chest too. Sammy, do you see marks on dada?" Shamith said pointing at the hickeys. Abhi closed his eyes sighing.
"Dada, is that paining?" Both his sons asked pressing their little fingers on them making Abhi wince a little.
"Com'on monkeys, stop doing that. Now, listen, happy birthday okay? I brought you gifts and will give you if you both promise me something" he wished them coldly clearly opposite to the way Sitaara expresses her love towards their kids. They nodded.
"You both aren't gonna invite your friends to the party," he said. They nodded.
"We didn't," they said in unison making Abhi grin.
"Well, now, let's have some father and sons time," Abhi said taking them to the bathroom.
***
"What the hell?" Sitaara shouted seeing water on the floor from the bathroom. All the clothes are scattered on the floor. Shamith and Samhith had their goggles on, with soap foam on their hair while Abhi too looked the same as them and the three boys are naked. Sitaara turned back closing her eyes.
"Mani, idiot, did you forget you are 35 now? You have gone nuts to behave like your 5 years old son. If I don't see everything cleared and yourself clean in an hour, you three idiots aren't gonna meet her for a month. We both will go to my mom's place" she warned.
"No! Don't. We will clean everything" the boys said with a panicked voice. She smirked and walked out to check on her and found her still sleeping peacefully making Sitaara smile widely. Placing a lingering kiss on her forehead, Sitaara walked out of the room.
***
Abhi made his sons wear their new clothes and combed their hair.
"Let's go before your mumma come again and shout at us," he said. They nodded with a giggle.
"Mani, Sammy, Shami, are you guys ready?" Sitaara came inside tucking her saree's end at her waist. Abhi's eyes lingered on her bare waist only to be rudely interrupted by his sons hugging Sitaara.
"Happy birthday, my handsome monkeys," she said kissing their foreheads. They grinned and kissed on either side of her cheeks.
"You look beautiful, mumma. Dada is such a lucky man" Sammy and Shami said in unison making Sitaara look at Abhi who shrugged his shoulder agreeing to his sons.
"Now, go downstairs and pray to God. The grandmother is in the temple room offering prayers. After done offering prayers, touch all the elders' feet and even hers. I will bring her down" she said. They nodded their heads with a smile and ran down the stairs. She looked at Abhi and walked to him. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she stood on his toes. Instinctively, he encircled his arms around her waist.
"Now, let me dress my boy. Hmm?" She caressed the side of his neck and pecked his chest.
"Aren't you enough of me? Of our wonderful night?" He asked. She looked at him furrowing her eyebrows pulling her lips together.
"I thought I showed you or you have seen how manly I am all the night, how can you tell am a boy? Also, most importantly, you are seducing me, Mrs Abhimanyu. What's with you wearing this saree today? You look just...just gorgeous" he said with a smile making her blush.
"Today, I'm gonna start another branch as it's our monkeys birthday. So, this" she pulled away from him and twirled around to show her new saree. He sighed and moved away.
"I told you to stop working" he mumbled. She thinned her lips and walked to him. Standing on her toes, she took his lips in-between hers nibbling them.
"Mani, I want to work. Aren't you the one who stood against my maternal family when they opposed the idea of me working? Then, why are you behind me to stop working?" She asked.
"After her, you stopped taking care of yourself. You had many complications too which are reflecting even today, even after years. I don't want to risk your health, baby" he whispered nuzzling his nose with hers.
"Nothing will happen to me. You are there for me, Mani" she whispered tilting her head, brushing her lips on his, slowly.
"You still trust in me" he whispered caressing her cheeks, looking at her closed eyes and parted lips.
Tringggg
Tringggg
Tringggg
They both parted away with a jerk and looked at each other as it is the emergency siren from their kids' room. Panicking, they both ran to the door and opened it.
They found her going inside the blanket immediately. Sitaara shook her head while Abhi smiled. As he was walking to the bed, he found himself stepping on a doll. He picked it up and took another step only to step on another doll. Understanding that it's a sweet trap, he followed the way made by dolls.
When the last doll ended near a door, he opened it and walked inside. It's her secret room to which only Abhi and she have the access to enter.
His eyes teared up with happiness. He chuckled seeing the way his daughter filled the wall with colours and drawings.
"Welcome home, daddy. Princess loves you"
Every letter was dancing and the drawings in the background looked funny.
"Daddy," he heard a melodious voice. Turning around, he found his daughter, his bundle of joy, Nandhana.
"Nandhu, my Princess" Abhi extended his arms out with a grin and she jumped into his arms wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Welcome home, daddy. Princess loves you" she said happily. Sitaara looked at the father and daughter duo with a happy smile.
After the boys were born, Sitaara was told by the doctors that she may not conceive again while Abhi craved for a baby girl. He started doing everything the priest suggested to do for a baby girl. The man who never believed in God followed every ritual blindly only for his little girl, his bundle of joy, Nandhana. During Dhruv's marriage, she was resulted positive and that day Abhi's happiness knew no bounds. When Pihu, Kabir's wife told it's a girl, he instantly named the baby Nandhana, the bundle of joy.
"Daddy, when you were away, mumma had beat me here" Nandhana lied with a pout, showing her innocence, pointing at her knees. Sitaara gasped and walked to them. Kneeling in front of them, she narrowed her eyes.
"Did I beat you? Did I ever beat you?" Sitaara asked and was about to hold her arm, Nandhana screamed pretending to be afraid and shee hugged Abhi's neck.
"You little brat! Will you stop acting? How dare you lie?" Sitaara used a hard tone.
"See, daddy, she scolded me daily like this when you were away" Nandhana pouted and snuggled into Abhi.
"Stay away from him. He is my husband. You shouldn't touch him" Sitaara tried to pull her daughter away from Abhi.
"Stay away from daddy, mumma. He is my father. You shouldn't touch him" Nandhana pushed Sitaara while Abhi was staring at the most important girls in his life who are looking more adorable than ever fighting for him.
"If I stayed away from your daddy, you wouldn't be born," Sitaara said and hugged Abhi. Kissing his cheek, she added. "We didn't use protection last night and I don't want to conceive again even if you go to the Himalayas because I can't share you with another little brat. I already told you, if you choose this little brat over me, I'll divorce you and disown her."
"Daddy, mumma looks hot when she is angry right?" Nandhana whispered in his ears as he was staring at Sitaara without a blink. Both Abhi and Sitaara turned to her with shocked expressions at her choice of words.
"Who taught you them?" They asked in unison.
"Aarya atha. She told me to say it when you scold daddy" she said innocently.
"Aarya you are gone" Sitaara gritted her teeth standing on her feet.
"Btw Princess, your mom always looks hot in everything and hotter in nothing," Abhi said looking at Sitaara's back when she was walking out.
Sitaara turned around and threw the teddy bear on his face.
"Learn to keep your words in check" she yelled. Abhi and Nandhana showed their tongue at her and laughed.
"Get ready soon. Your brothers are waiting for you" he said to Nandhana. She crossed her arms over her front, narrowed her eyes at him.
"Did you bring the gifts for my brothers?" She asked. He nodded bowing. She giggled and kissed his cheek.
"Let me run a bath for you, Princess," he said lifting her in his arms and taking her inside the bathroom.
***
Nandhana wore a pink frock, bangs falling on her forehead, hair left open with few strands pinned to her side, looking cute.
"Chelli vachindhi" Samhith and Shamith screamed running to Nandhana followed by Sushanth. All the elders chuckled.
(Translation:- Sister came downstairs)
"It feels good when you are the only girl in between 4 brothers," Dhruv said looking at Nandhana and her brothers who held her hands helping her to descend the stairs.
"It's 5 brothers," Naman said pointing at Drithi's 7 months belly.
"How do you know that it's a boy?" Sakshi asked.
"Because I don't want even my daughter to share the love Nandhana gets from ber brothers. She will be the only girl in our family" Naman said as everyone smiled.
"Now, join your hands and pray to God," Samhith told Nandhana as he took her to the temple room.
"Nandhu, here take aarti" Shamith held the aarti plate carefully. Nandhana nodded and took aarti with the help of Samhith.
"Nandhu, here, apply vermillion. God will make you pass in exams even if you don't study" Sushanth said applying vermillion on her forehead as Nandhana is weak in studies.
Everyone chuckled at their care. Sakshi and Anjali being religious persons do all these and kids imprinted these things in their heads.
"I am sure, they are gonna spoil her with their care" Sitaara mumbled walking towards them.
"Touch your sister's feet. Take blessings from her" she told Samhith and Shamith. They nodded and touched her feet placing their head on her feet.
"Shami anna, you get strong and beat that Varshith while Sammy anna, you don't let Varshith's sister beat you in exams this time too" she blessed them. Sitaara hit her forehead and looked at Abhi. He chuckled.
Pampered by everyone and being the only girl in the family, Nandhana turned into a brat. She never studies, never comes first in sports, never good at curricular activities but she is good at beating guys. Sitaara tried to change her but none of the family members co-orperated with her pampering Nandhana more and more.
"Nandhu bless me too" Sushanth whined touching her legs. She giggled and blessed him.
They are seated for breakfast. Abhi tucked the napkin at Nandhana's neck and adjusted her chair so that she could reach the table.
"You must have eaten all the stupid food there, so just eat this soft food'' Sitaara whispered in Abhi's ears as she served him.
"That's why I love you" he mumbled pinching her waist. She swatted his hand.
"Nani( Paternal grandmother), see, dada pinched mumma. He has been doing this for a very long time" Samhith complained to Sakshi crying while Shamith was glaring at Abhi. The couple moved away from each other immediately. Sakshi giggled silently while Sitaara's flushed and Abhi, as usual, continued eating emotionless.
"That's why I told am gonna make both these brats admitted to boarding school. Look at him, how he is smirking" Abhi whispered to Sitaara under his breath looking at Shamith who always makes Sitaara away from Abhi as he is too possessive than his dad to share his mom.
"That's why even I told Naman babaye(uncle/ father's brother) to send you away to New York" Shamith shouted hearing his father's words. Everyone chuckled.
"If I was in New York you would be in some other place with some other parents" Abhi snapped.
"If I wasn't born, Mumma would have left you" Shamith smirked. Everyone looked at him confused.
"Dhruv babaye told that you were considered gay before mom came into your life. Because of me, you are proved to be a man, dada'' Shamith said. Abhi looked at Dhruv gritting his teeth.
"My son might have started crying. I need to check on him" saying he ran away. Nandhana giggled silently making Abhi calm down.
"Shami, say sorry to dada. How can you so disrespectful? Dada even scolded Sammy but did he react to it? If you are given the right to feel possessive of me that doesn't mean you can use such words at your father. If you ever cross your limits, I will send you to boarding school. Apologise dad, now" Sitaara warned. Tears filled in his eyes and he nodded.
"I am sorry, dada" he mumbled, as he started eating again.
"Why did you scold him? He is a kid, Taara. He doesn't know what's right and what's wrong. You make him understand but don't scold him" Abhi whisper yelled at her and walked to Shamith who was getting consoled by Samhith.
"Why did you scold my anna, mumma? You always scold my Shami anna" Nandhana hissed in her cute voice with a pout. Sitaara stood on her feet, pushing her food.
"You four idiots say you love me but keep plotting behind my back and hurt me together. I am going to my mom's place. You three stay with your dada who don't scold at all" Sitaara yelled at them and ran to her room.
"Dadaaaa" the kids sang looking at him. He sighed raising his hands in surrender. Taking chocolates in their hands, they followed Sitaara while all the family members laughed as it became their daily routine.
Abhi slowly opened the door and found Sitaara staring at Viraj's huge photo frame angrily. He walked to her and snaked his arms around her waist hugging her from behind.
"Viraj, tell her that I am sorry" Abhi whispered and pecked her cheek.
"Uncle Viraj, tell mumma that we are sorry and we love her" the three kids sang as they hugged Sitaara's legs. She chuckled with tears at their happy family. Tilting her head, she pressed her lips on Abhi's.
"Noooo" Kids closed their eyes as Abhi and Sitaara chuckled.
"I love you three" she hugged her kids, kissing their foreheads.
"More than dada?" Samhith asked. Sitaara looked at Abhi who is waiting to hear her voice.
"I am sorry" she held her ears and whispered. He chuckled kneeling before the kids.
"We both love you three more than we love anyone," Abhi said as he hugged his family.
***
"Sammy? Shami? Why are your friends here? Didn't I tell you not to call them?" Abhi hissed pulling his sons behind the stage.
"We didn't call them," both the twins said pinching their throats.
"Then, who called them?" He asked.
"I did" they heard a voice from behind. Turning around, they found Sitaara in a golden satin saree with the sleeveless glittering blouse as she left her hair open looking damn gorgeous.
"Seriously, Mani? You told our sons not to invite his friends because they may find Nandhana beautiful?" She asked in disbelief.
"Trust me, our Princess took over your beauty. Shamith's friend, Vachan's eyes are always on Princess. When we went to the parents-teacher meeting, Vachan was tying Nandhana's shoelaces which is my right. How can he tie my daughter's shoelaces? Now, shoelaces and tomorrow, wedding thread. No! I can't take that chance. I will never send Nandhana away from me. And seeing Vachan's acts, I can say he wants to marry Nandhana. If his father Lokesh asks Nandhana's hand for marriage, tell him that I found a groom for her already. Also, many men eyes are on my daughter to make her their daughter in law. God! How shall I hide my gorgeous daughter? Now, as you even called Vachan, that brat gonna behave as if he own my daughter. If he even looks at my daughter, I am gonna tell Lokesh to join his son in boarding school" Abhi kept ranting, running his hands in his gelled hair as Sitaara was staring at him with hands crossed over her chest.
"Over?" She asked coldly.
"Have you gone mad? Your love for your daughter is making you an idiot. She is still 3 and a half years old, Mani. Where does this marriage topic come from? Not only men but every person from our parties look at Nandhana because she is your daughter, the only daughter in chowdary's house not because they want to make her their daughter in law. Vachan takes good care of Nandhana because she is Shamith's and Samhith's sister" she whisper yelled at him.
"No, Sitaara. That little guy looks at Nandhana like I look at you. Being a man I can understand what goes on in other man's mind" he said. She sighed and shook her head.
"Both of you! Your classmates are waiting for you. Go and meet them" She said looking at her sons. They nodded and walked away. She turned to Abhi who is muttering to himself how he should save his daughter to himself. She held his ear pulling him to her.
"If you do this again. Forget that you ever know the word 'love making' because I won't let you touch me even for a kiss" she said and pushed him before walking away.
"She never understands a father's problem" he muttered to himself following her. As soon as they reached the front side of the stage, they found Vachan beating a guy mercilessly while Nandhana was encouraging him, laughing. Sitaara, Abhi and Lokesh, Vachan's father ran to him pulling him away.
"Uncle, leave me. This guy asked Nandhana for dance and touched her hand dragging her to the stage when she denied" Vachan shouted.
Abhi glared at the kid and before he burst out on the poor kid who is shivering in fear, Sitaara butted in.
"Shh...stop crying, Champ. See, go with this uncle, he will help you to clean your wounds. After that, you come back and join in the party again. I am sorry on their behalf" She said cupping the boy's face. The boy went away crying without answering. She stood up and looked at Vachan who is staring at Nandhana.
Walking to Nandhana, he extended his hand out.
"Will you dance with me?" He asked sitting on his knees. Everyone looked at them wide-eyed while Abhi ran to a corner palming his face.
"He took away my daughter. My only daughter" he started crying like a kid hugging Suresh.
"She is my only daughter. How can she leave her dada for a boy, nanna?" Abhi cried while Sitaara looked at him baffled at his cries.
A whistling sound made her look front, and she found Vachan, in his black suit and Nandhana, in her cream frock with a crown in her head, Vachan pecking Nandhana's cheek.
A gasp left from her mouth and she looked at Abhi who is crying in Suresh's arms.
"She will start a family with that asshole boy Vachan and eventually, she forgets her dada" he cried again.
She gestured the DJ guy to stop playing songs and pulled Nandhana and Vachan away. Greeting everyone, she thanked them for their presence on her son's birthday.
As she got down the stage, her eyes fell on 26 years old Disha who is nothing but a corpse now.
