Author's POV

"Mani" Sitaara screamed at top of her lungs waking up. Dev, Mridula, Sid, Ved and others rushed inside and saw Sitaara panting, crying and shivering.

"Sitamma, what happened?" Asked Dev.

"Daddy...daddy... Mani. Where is he? I want to talk to him. Accident... blast Daddy, I want to talk to him" she screamed crying.

"He will come back safely, Sitamma. He went on some work. He will come back" Dev caressed her hair as she was crying hugging his torso.

"Yes! He will come back. Safely. Fit and fine" she chanted this.

"Baby, daddy is gonna come back soon. Don't worry. He promised us to come back soon. He is safe" she said to her stomach placing her hand on her stomach.

Suddenly Sid's and Dhruv's phone went off. They lifted the calls and just dropped phones on the ground in shock.

"What happened? Mani is safe.. right?" Asked Sitaara.

"We will be back" they both whispered and ran out of the room. Seeing them, Arjun, Vikram, Riaan, Aarya and Shetty twins ran following them along with Ved.

"I need to go. I want to see, Mani" she mumbled pulling IV's off the back of her palm and she ran out before anyone could stop. She didn't care about her bleeding hand or her head injury she kept running in the direction others ran.

She ran downstairs and there she saw Rishi and Anish with blood-filled shirts crying running along with the stretcher.

"Mani" she screamed running to them and saw Abhi's face filled with blood.

"Mani...Mani wake up. Open your eyes. Look at your Sweetheart" she cried.

"Mam... please move. His condition is critical. We need to take him or else he will die" shouted doctors.

"My Mani won't leave me. He promised me. Together forever. Mani open your eyes. For me. For our baby. You can't leave both of us like that" she cried while Sid tried to pull her away. Everyone was looking at her crying.

"Sitaara let doctors take him inside. He needs emergency treatment" cried Rishi.

"My Mani. Ask him to wake up" she cried while Riaan pulled her away forcefully. Doctors took away Abhi.

"Rio," she cried loudly and fainted in his arms.

"How did this happen?" Asked Akash and Naman coming towards Anish and Rishi who are crying.

"His car breaks failed. We were informing him. Suddenly he increased the speed when I was about to overtake his car and a lorry directly crashed into his. We got down the car running to him and we pulled him out of the car in a jiffy holding his hand and in within a second car blasted" cried Anish.

"Police took a statement as we felt it as a planned one. The lorry which crashed into his car has no number plate. After crashing the car the driver ran away. The bomb was found in his car" said Rishi.

"Abhi's condition?" Asked Akash.

"Don't know anything for now. We are not understanding anything. Sisira is inside with them but even she isn't telling anything. We are getting scared seeing doctors running here and there. We don't want to lose our other best friend. We can't afford it, Akash" cried Rishi.

"Situ?" Asked Akash.

"She is 5 weeks expectant. Currently under sedatives as she is taking this news badly which is not safe for her and baby especially, as it's her first trimester" cried Anish.

"What? She is pregnant? Does Abhi know this?" Asked Akash.

"He know about it and he was happy. He bought many things for Sitaara though it is not needed for now. Before his car crashed, he confessed his love for Sitaara crying" said Anish wiping his tears. Everyone had tears in their eyes.

"You got everything?" Asked Riaan to his P.A. His P.A. nodded giving a box to Riaan.

Riaan looked at Anish and Rishi. They smiled and patted his back.

"Everything is ready. Go from the backside. We placed a gun in the car too. No one can harm you" said Rishi.

"What about Chowdary's?" Asked Riaan.

"They will understand. We will take care of it. Just take your bride and go away" said Anish. Riaan nodded.

He walked to Disha who was crying badly.

"Disha" he called softly. She looked up.

"Rio save my brother please. We can't live without him. Please" she cried hugging him. He hugged her back feeling peace even in such chaos which any girl in his life couldn't give.

"I love you, Disha" he whispered. She pulled back immediately in shock as he proposed in front of everyone. Taking it as a chance, he tied the sacred thread around her neck and filled her partition with vermillion. Everyone gasped in shock.

"What you have done, son? You tied wedding sacred thread around her and filled her partition with vermillion. Do you know what does it mean?" Asked Anjali.

"I married her. She is my wife now. Mrs Disha Riaan Sharma. Am taking her away" said Riaan.

"What the hell Riaan? Have you gone mad? Here, we are in pain that my brother is fighting for life, my sil is unconscious and you did this? How dare you go near my sister?" Yelled Naman.

"Dish, let's go," said Riaan holding her hand.

"We won't let you take her. We don't consider this marriage. Heck, this isn't marriage at all" yelled Dhruv. Riaan looked at Rishi and Anish. They nodded.

"Go Riaan, go with your wife and take care of her," said Anish.

"Ani, what are you speaking? He married my sister without her consent and you are asking him to take her away in this chaos?" Cried Aastha.

"Rio, go now. No one is gonna stop you" shouted Rishi. Riaan nodded. He looked at Chowdary's for once and started dragging Disha with him. He went to the car Anish and Rishi set up for him.

"Get inside," said Riaan to Disha opening the door for her.

"I won't," she said crying. He sighed angrily and pushed her inside. Walking to his side, he sat in the driver's seat and started driving.

"Do you have any idea what you did?" Yelled Disha.

"I know what I did. Your life is in danger. Not only yours, my parent's, Situ's and her baby's too. I did this to keep you safe" said Riaan and smirked looking at the rearview where he can see cars following him.

"And...you won't be meeting anyone, Disha. I don't know how many days but you won't. It can take 1 month, 3 months or worst a year too. You will be with my parents. They will treat you as their own daughter. For now, don't ask me anything. Just understand that, I, your bil Anish and your brother's best friend, Rishi anna planned this to just protect you" said Riaan and looked at the rearview mirror again as his smirk grew wider. He saw many cars exactly like his with the same number plate, colour, model joined him to confuse the cars which were following him earlier.

"Superb, Anish anna and Rishi anna!!" Thought Riaan smiling.

"Why Situ Vadhina's(sil) life is in danger? And baby's life? What's happening Rio?" Asked Disha.

"Vikram" whispered Riaan. Disha looked at him confused

"Vikram is not the man he shows. He is a cold-blooded criminal. He killed nearly 70 people. Those 70 people are not someone who harmed him, they are friends of Sitaara. He is obsessed with her and killed a few people who are close to Sitaara. Now, he is the one who planned all this, Abhi Anna's accident to kill him. This is not the first time. He tried to kill Abhi Anna for a long time but I was saving him. We don't have any evidence to prove Vikram guilty that's why he is doing crimes more and more. Sitaara's boyfriend, Viraj Sehgal, collected every evidence from his 1st crime to his own death but we don't know where he kept it. For years am tried to find the evidence but couldn't. Once I feel, you and my parents are in the safe zone I will bring you back" said Riaan.

"Why am I involved in this? Why your parents are involved in this?" Shouted Disha frustrated.

"Because I love you and my parents. Vikram wants the evidence which he accidentally heard when am talking to my P.A. about them. Till then, he doesn't know we have evidence against him and now, he thinks I have them and may submit them before the law so he wants to blackmail me with you, my parents and my companies. Now, just stop asking questions" shouted Riaan.

"I don't love you" mumbled Disha looking at her lap. His heart clenched at this.

"I know you don't love me. But I will make you fall for me" he said taking her hand in his.

"I hate you" she whispered. He smiled.

"What's your age?" He asked.

"You don't know even my age but you love me and want to marry me" she taunted.

"You know, meeting you at your mansion wasn't the first time apart from our childhood meets. I saw you twice before itself when I was following my best friend Sitaara. I saw how kind you are and I know you are a special girl, my girl. I fell for your character and I don't need to know other things. So, I just asked you casually" said Riaan caressing the back of her palm. She pulled her hand away immediately.

"Am still 21" she whispered. He chuckled.

"Same age gap like your brother's and my best friend's. They have 4 years age gap and we both have the same. Am 25" he said and his phone went off. He looked at it and saw it's from his Australian friends. He lifted the call and put it on speaker.

"Hey! Rio, you are gonna be an uncle soon. I love you" screamed his friend. He chuckled.

"Congratulations, Zoey. Where is that asshole boyfriend of yours, Rithvik?" Asked Riaan chuckling.

"Am with her, you ass" said Rithvik. Riaan chuckled.

"Isn't it ironic, Rithvik? Your elder brother was celibate and you fell in love. Your elder brother fell in love and you lost virginity. Your elder brother married and you are becoming a father" said Riaan and laughed.

"You are married?" Came three loud voices.

"Yes! Just now" said Riaan looking at Disha who was already looking at him.

"You bastard, that's cheating" shouted a new voice.

"Ethan, buddy am sorry. Everything is pretty bad here and I had to do it. Now, don't ask anything. Am in a very tough situation. Don't call me too. Rithvik, take care of Zoey. Don't let her go out without security" said Riaan.

"You are safe, right? I don't want to lose you and your parents too" said Rithvik.

"Am safe, Rithvik. Now am hanging up the call or else Vikram will be able to track me. Bye! Congratulations to-be-parents" said Riaan and hung up the call.

"You have a brother?" Asked Disha.

"He is my uncle's son. They were dead in a plane crash 2 years ago. He and I started living together since I left India. Am just 5 days elder than him. He has a girlfriend, Zoey. Ethan is her brother who is my business partner, my best friend and thus Zoey and Rithvik clicked. Zoey's parents are also dead when they were kids. Now, Zoey is pregnant with my brother's baby. Ethan had a rough past with a girl who is from India and I'm here make things right on his behalf apart from putting Vikram's deeds out" said Riaan with a smile and stopped the car.

He turned to her and cupped her cheek.

"Take care. I will bring you guys back when the time comes. Till then be with my parents" he said caressing her cheeks. She looked at him with tears. He smiled. He darted his eyes to her neck and placed his palm on her collarbone, caressing her scared thread.

"I love you, Disha" he whispered looking into her eyes and burying his face in her neck kissing her sacred thread. She pushed him away immediately.

"Don't touch me, Riaan" she mumbled taking harsh breaths. He mumbled an 'okay' and ringed someone and talk over the phone. Then, a man came.

"He will take you to the place where you are gonna hide. You know him right? Vinay, your brother's P.A." said Riaan unaware of her feelings for Vinay. Her heart started hammering listening to Vinay. Tears filled in her eyes.

"Hey! Don't cry. Am there for you, Dishu. I will make everything correct" he said. She nodded and got down the car.

"Vinay, take her to my parents safely and you know how to come back right?" Asked Riaan.

"Yes, Sir. I will drop Mrs Sharma safely" said Vinay without sparing even a glance at Disha. Riaan nodded getting down the car and hugged her.

"Bye, Love" he whispered and kissed her forehead. Without turning back, he went away.

He saw Vikram's men following him. He smirked. In a blink, their cars blasted. He stopped the car and Arjun sat inside.

"Done!!" Said Arjun placing his palm in Riaan's palm. Riaan smiled nodding and started driving to the hospital.

Flashback (After Abhi's accident)

"Anish anna, Rishi anna" called Riaan coming towards them. They turned to him crying.

"I want to talk to you both. I know who did this. Let's go somewhere and have a talk" said Riaan.

"Who did this?" Asked Arjun coming to them.

"Let's go," said Riaan. They nodded. They went to the rooftop and sat on a metal joint chair that was placed there.

"Vikram," said Riaan.

"Vikram?" They shouted in shock.

"Don't be shocked. Yes, it's Vikram. He was the one who killed Viru bhaiyya, his father and many more people" said Riaan.

"Rio, stop this okay? Our Vikram can't do that. If you forgot let me remind you, Vikram and Viraj bhaiyya are cousins and they hid it from Situ and Aarya" said Arjun coldly.

"It's Vikram, Arjun. I didn't leave India just like that. I was made to leave this country. Vikram wanted me to go away because I had feelings towards Sitaara. When I refused to go, he made my grandparents meet an accident and our mansion in London was put on fire with the help of mafia" said Riaan crying.

"Mafia?" Asked three guys in shock.

"Yes! Vikram is from the mafia. No one knows about it. When he killed a man at the age of 18, who proposed Sitaara in our Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and northern states trip, he bumped into Mafia and since then he joined in it. He does much illegal business too. When Abhi anna made him come back from Goa with company matters, he unknowingly hit on Vikram's illegal business which made him come back to Hyderabad" said Riaan.

He sighed and stood before them with hands stuffed in his pockets.

"It was best that Vikram was sent away by Abhi anna or else he would have done something to make Sitaara not to agree to remarry Vikram was the one who sprouted the thought of Abhi as the molester in Sitaara's mind," said Riaan.

"You knew it was Abhi who made Vikram leave Goa?" Asked Anish.

"Yes! I know and I intentionally didn't push him more to stay back pretending to be sad on his departure. He doubted me but it was cleared when he did research" said Riaan.

"Coming back again, in my 3rd year engineering I told Vikram about my feelings towards Sitaara unaware of his obsession. That day he warned me to leave her, it was not that I would confess my feeling to Sitaara. I would never do that because Sitaara was already in love with Viraj Bhaiyya since school days, but his obsession blinded him to see my intentions and he made my grandparents meet an accident in Mumbai when they came to meet me. Then Viraj Bhaiyya saw him warning me to leave the country again at the hospital as Viraj bhaiyya works as an intern where my grandparents were admitted. That day I told everything to Viru bhaiyya and left for London, my home town" said Riaan sniffing.

"Then, what happened?" Asked Anish.

"Viraj bhaiyya started getting threatening messages to leave Sitaara but he didn't as they already met each other after 6 years and before he could stop anything, with the help of mafia gang Vikram killed Harshad uncle, Viru bhaiyya's father, then it was framed into an accident but Viraj bhaiyya didn't leave Sitaara. Vikram made Vindhya aunty's heart weak using drugs. She is already in pain of losing her husband and these drugs made a bad impact on her heart for the rest of her life" said Riaan.

"Such a bastard! Wait! Viraj is the cousin of Vikram that means Vindhya aunty and Harshad uncle are his relatives" said Rishi.

"Vindhya aunty is Suresh uncle's (Vikram father) own sister. But Vikram didn't show mercy at her and her husband. Aunty and uncle used to shower more love in him than Viraj or his siblings" said Riaan.

"This killing of his father agitated Viru bhaiyya, he wanted to prove that his father's death was a murder, not an accident but he didn't have any proof. That's when he came into contact with me, I, Viru bhaiyya and my friend Dheer who is a local gangster in Mumbai but not a mafia started digging everything. After nearly 2 and half years of research, we collected all his crimes unaware of Vikram's eye on us. Vikram killed Dheer brutally as per his Mafia don's order because once Vikram's deeds come into the light, the whole mafia's team he works for, will be out" said Riaan.

"To keep Vikram busy, Viru bhaiyya filed a case on Dheer's death and whole Mafia targeted Viraj Sehgal. They tried to kill him numerous times but Vikram saved him as Sitaara used to stick to Viraj and he sure don't want Sitaara to fall in trouble. Threatening calls increased, they started following Ishaan, Samaira, Sitaara and Vindhya aunty which scared him. But... but he didn't back off. He was about to submit all the evidence, Ishaan met with an accident, he was bedridden for 6 months. Then, Sitaara was attacked in the US by the mafia. Remember Arjun?" Asked Riaan.

"Yes! She was badly beaten by them for 2 days continuously but after investigation, it was declared that it was local rowdies attacked her for money" said Arjun. Riaan nodded.

"That's when Viraj bhaiyya wanted to marry Sitaara and he asked her to come back to India without her family's knowledge. She came back and they both decided to marry. He wanted to tell her about everything but Vikram stopped him. Whenever he wanted to submit the proofs something or the other would come" said Riaan.

"Are they married? Except having a boyfriend in past, we don't know anything" said Rishi.

"Everything was ready for their marriage. The day before their marriage, Viraj bhaiyya went on some important work. He didn't mention what it is. After that, we tried him many times, but he didn't lift the calls. Then at night 11:30, Sitaara's phone got a message that he is at the hospital in emergency surgery and he would come early in the morning. But he didn't come, Sitaara was dolled up into bridal lehenga and all. We all went to the venue. We waited for so long but...but..an ambulance came there. Nurse..nurses brought a body on a stretcher. It was Viraj. Naked with bruises all over the body" said Arjun and cried loudly. Rishi and Anish had tears in their eyes. He palmed their faces while Arjun and Riaan were crying.

"They directly brought the body to Sitaara. When we looked at his face, his mother vomited. His face was badly bruised. His mouth stitched, cheeks were peeled off, ears were cut, his hair was cleared and his skull was visible. His upper body had 21 bullets, his chest part had many scratches, his thigh was drilled, his private part was chopped, calfskin was peeled off. Every one of us stood there shocked. Sitaara rooted at her spot. While even his mother was scared to touch him, Sitaara did. She held his face in her palms and cried loudly making the whole place vibrate with her cries. Sid anna too came there don't know how. He made sure it didn't leak to the media. Once Sitaara came out of shock realising that Viru bhaiyya is no more, she ran to the roof and jumped from there" said Arjun and cried loudly. Anish and Rishi gasped.

"She fell on Sid anna's car and with blood pooled around her. We immediately took her to the hospital and she was unconscious for 10 days. After 1 month, we were sent back to the US but she was no more than cheerful Sitaara. She locked herself in the room. Used to sit in a corner in dark with Viru bhaiyya's photos in her hands. She don't use to eat anything. If she ever come out, she used to walk on roads like a madwoman and even met with many accidents. And one such accident happened where she was in ICU for more than 25 days fighting for life. Her body and mind were like it gave up living. Sid anna made Vindhya aunty, Ishaan and Samaira come to her. They talked to her though she was not in the condition to talk. She considered herself responsible for Viraj's death and she believed it was her responsibility to take care of Sehgal's family and become head of it. She started recovering. She used to be like earlier but a fake Sitaara. Getting a part job at many cafe's, online jobs, a helper in the library, a tutor to many kids over there she started taking of Sehgal's family. She applied for a loan with a job and started 'Vitaara Orphanage'. Impressing many highly profiled people in the US, she could gain funds apart from Shetty's companies which Sid anna takes care of. But she never neglected her studies. She used to completely bury herself in something or the other. In the whole 24 hours, she used to sleep only 2 hours. And she became an insomniac, went into depression, she was prescribed to use high dosage pills but nothing worked out, even top doctors from the US gave up on her. After completing our graduation we came back and she changed herself suddenly again. Trips. Sleep. Staying at home. A these become her usual thing" said Arjun crying. Anish and Rishi too cried with them.

"She wanted to die. After 6 months. In the next few months, Samaira will be graduating, she has to get married, Ishaan has to start his law career under best advocate, Vindhya aunty should see Ishaan's wife and her grandchildren so that she would be happy at least seeing her other kid's happiness was all Sitaara's aim. She targeted everything to complete in 6 months and also spend her time with her family. But this marriage thing disturbed her plans, Abhi Anna's love, care, possessiveness, his activities, everything in him is exactly like Viraj Sehgal which build new hopes and the life she dreamt was becoming true. This made her fall in love" said Riaan.

"How do you know?" Asked Arjun. Riaan threw Sitaara's recorder at him.

"She used to record everything in it as if talking to Viraj," said Riaan.

"Didn't you guys give a police complaint?" asked Rishi.

"We have. But didn't find even a piece of single evidence though Sid was the one who ran from place to place for any kind of evidence neither police nor he could single evidence. Due to orders from higher officials, they closed the case framing it as an accident" said Arjun. Rishi and Anish sighed.

"Can't we do anything now?" Asked Anish.

"We can! But we need to find the evidence Viraj bhaiyya hid it safely. Once they are out, Vikram's criminal activities come to an end" said Riaan.

"Right now, Disha is in the problem," said Riaan.

"Disha? Why is she involved, Rio?" Asked Anish and Arjun. He scratched his nape blushing.

"What is it, Rio?" Asked Arjun.

"I love her. Vikram knew that. He thinks I have evidence but expect Viraj Sehgal no one has the evidence. So, he wants to blackmail me with Disha's life, my parent's life and my companies" said Riaan.

"He instructed his P.A. to kidnap Disha, rape her and torture her so that I can spill out the evidence," said Riaan. They fisted their fingers and clenched their jaw.

"I want you guys to help me to keep them safe and for now no one should know about Vikram's deeds. In a single shot he may do anything to Sitaara and baby" said Riaan.

"Marry Disha," said Anish and Rishi at a time.

"What?" Yelled Riaan.

"Yes! Marry her. Only then, you have the right to keep her safe or else we have to say them why we are hiding her, then Vikram's deeds will be out as elders keep questioning which we can't answer now without proper evidence and Vikram may plan anything impulsively which ruin my friend's happiness if he ever comes to know we all are aware of his facade" said Rishi.

"Abhi has a secret place in between woods in a nearby deserted area where there will be no signals to even trace the person. You marry her right now. I will send Vinay to fetch your parents and take them there. As only I, Rishi, Abhi and Vinay know that place no one has a chance to leak about them too" said Anish.

"You take Disha in the car which we will park backside of this hospital. Take her to this place and we will make sure Vikram's men get confused" said Rishi giving a card. Riaan took it.

"After you reach this place, Vinay will take her Abhi's secret place. The men who saw Vinay taking her will be dead with the help of Arjun and you both start coming back in the same car. Okay?" Asked Anish.

Riaan and Arjun looked at them in amusement.

"By chance are you guys also from Mafia. I asked one suggestion and you both came with the exact idea in a millisecond and explained to me as if you both discussed it already" said Riaan. They chuckled.

"We were most wanted persons in college. Fights were pretty common and these plans are what we did in past. Now go and keep her safe" said Rishi.

"I want to tell one more thing, just keep Vikram away from Sitaara. He may do anything to kill the baby. And tell this to all the cousins, it would be helpful to protect the three of them" said Riaan. They nodded.

"I can't believe Vikram did all this to just satisfy his obsession," said Arjun.

"Not only to satisfy his obsession, Jun. He doesn't want his properties to go in hands of either Viraj Sehgal or Abhimanyu Vatsalya aka Abhimanyu Chowdary" said Riaan. Rishi and Anish stood their rooted while Arjun looked at him confused.

"Yes! Vikram and Abhimanyu are half brothers. Vikram, Abhimanyu and Viraj are cousins. Sakshi aunty and Aman uncle adopted Abhi anna" said Riaan.

"How do you know Abhi is an orphan?" Asked Rishi.

"I searched. Without a proper background check, I wouldn't let Sitaara marry him" said Riaan.

"Only, Abhi and his friends excluding Anika, no one know about it. Well, elders in Chowdary's know but...but how do you know?" said Anish.

"I only know that he is an orphan but Vikram was the one who told me Abhi Anna is his half brother. Abhi Anna's mom was killed by Vikram's mom and I don't know how Aman uncle and Sakshi found Abhi, why does Suresh uncle don't know Abhi Anna's existence even after these many years, who is that woman Abhi anna's mom" said Riaan.

"Except being an orphan even Abhi don't know who are his parents. His aunt Haritha used to bring him to functions and used to taunt him that he is an orphan and was adopted. She used to make him clean the mansion, wash dishes, serve her food and used to beat him calling him a maid when Uncle and Aunty used to leave Abhi with her, at her mansion due to their works. He used to cry for not having people to call as his. He didn't even tell anyone. Samhith too isn't aware of the happenings with Abhi as all this used to happen at his aunt's mansion. And uncle and aunty and whole family though gave their love to him, he was in not a state to accept it as it was fixed in his brain that he is an orphan. Chowdary's though love Abhi a lot, they only used to look at him as a 'want' in everything like he was good at studies, sports, grasping anything within seconds, handling all his siblings, having a very tough mind which enabled him to understand other's thoughts easily and many more which was a plus to Chowdary's. They didn't expect anything from Abhi but it happened on its according" said Rishi

"Abhi never claimed his rights over anything, he used to be like a bodyguard to his brothers and sisters, an employee of Chowdary's more than a boss though he is the who is behind that empire, he only spends enough share of the money, used to buy anything only which he could afford, he used to stay aloof. All this took a toll on him which lead to BPD" said Anish.

"That's why Sitaara is his world and he is overwhelmed listening that he is gonna become a father. He was happy that he is having his own family, people to call as his" said Anish and Rishi together.

"He suffered a lot since childhood. Like, knowing that he is an orphan, abused in private and insult in front of relatives, having no one to share his pain, then, girlfriend's betrayal, a best friend's death who was like his brother, dear of a couple who he considered as his parents, dealing with his disorder, phobia. He survived even after all this" mumbled Arjun. Anish and Rishi smiled.
