Chapter 24: The Beginning
Send It To My Phone
Blake's Point of View
I relaxed as the movie continued to play on, not bothering to focus on the characters on the screen. Everything was finally right. It was more than alright, it was perfect. I finally felt complete and I now knew what I was missing. I hugged Krissy closer to my body as she snuggled into my chest. Her breathing was coming out slowly, signifying she was relaxed and carefree.
"Alright you two. You have done nothing today but sit here on the couch. Come on, let's go outside. Let's play in the snow!" Sophie said full of excitement. I rolled my eyes and focused on my girl.
After I told Krissy that I loved her, she didn't speak. She just stared at me with very wide eyes, not making a sound. I began to panic. Did she not feel the same was as I did? Had I just poured my heart out to the girl who I thought was the one? Was this all a mistake?
"Blake." She had whispered. She moved the tray of food from her lap and put it on the night stand next to my bed. She struggled to make eye contact with me. My hopes and dreams began to fall apart. I was about to deny everything when I felt her soft hand on my cheek. She turned my head towards hers and our lips instantly connected.
I placed my hand on her waist, pulling her closer to me. Her hands found their way around my neck and into my hair, tugging on it. I smirked. I bit her lip causing her to gasp. I quickly slid my tongue in causing her to moan in response. Her grip on my hair tightened as we fought for dominance. I obviously won. Slowly, I laid her on her back until I was hovering over her. Her hands then left my hair and began to roam my chest. They slipped underneath my shirt and began to trace my abs. I tensed as her soft hands touched my skin.
I was slowly getting turned on as she continued to kiss me. I wanted nothing more than to make love to her but I knew better than that. I had just gotten her back. I wasn't ready to lose her again. I couldn't lose her again. I disconnected my lips from hers. She looked at me with confusion written across her face. Her cheeks were flushed and her hair was a mess only adding to what I was currently feeling and wanting to do.
"What?" She asked. I dipped my head down and pecked her lips one last time.
"I want to continue but not today babe. I just got you back." I told her. She giggled. I had missed those giggles.
"I love you too Blake." She said. I connected my lips to hers again. Those words ignited a new fire within me. I kissed her cheeks, her nose, her entire face until I kissed her lips once again.
"Say it again." I said. She laughed, shaking her head. "Come on."
"I love you." She said in a singing voice. I smiled bright. Nothing could ruin this moment.
"I love you too Krissy. I love you so much babe." I said to her truthfully. I laid down next to her, bringing her into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her.
"We should eat this delicious breakfast." She said to me. I nodded my head. I was hungry but not for that. "Come on."
"Alright." I said. She sat up and placed the tray of food in her lap. She reached for the fork and dug into the pancakes. She moaned as she took a bite.
"They're amazing." She said. I smiled.
"You're amazing." I said kissing her temple. She giggled. We ate the rest of the food in a comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company. I didn't want this moment to end.
"Let's go downstairs. We should help Sophie clean." She said sliding out of my grasp. I groaned. I wanted nothing more than to stay here with her.
"Fine, but one more kiss." I said. She rolled her eyes and kissed me again. Each one was better than the next.
"Come on Blake." Krissy said walking out of the room.
"Babe wait!" I shouted. She walked back in with confusion. I looked at her outfit. She was still wearing last night's dress. "You need to change."
I got up and took a black t-shirt and grey sweats from my dresser. I tossed them to her. She caught them before slipping into my bathroom. I chuckled before walking out of the room. Making my way down the stairs, I noticed the house was already sparkly clean.
"Finally. I thought you two would never leave your happy place." Sophie noticed. I rolled my eyes. I was down here like 20 minutes ago and the house was still a mess. "Ash and I cleaned."
"How?" I asked amazed. Cups and trash littered the ground as bottles of alcohol were all over the counters. There was even some toilet paper hung from the lights and banisters. How Asher and her cleaned everything, I didn't know.
"Doesn't matter. So, does she know?" She asked all giddy. I nodded.
"Yeah, she knows." I said smiling. I remembered the moment we shared upstairs. I was never going to forget it.
"About damn time brother." Sophie congratulated me. I chuckled. Her gaze quickly shifted to something behind me. "Good morning K!"
I turned around and saw Krissy there. She looked even more beautiful in my clothes. They fit her kind of big but I wouldn't want it any other way. If Sophie weren't here, I don't know what I would have done to her.
"Hey Sophie." Krissy said. Sophie smirked causing Krissy's cheeks to redden. I chuckled.
"Let's go watch a movie." I said reaching for Krissy's hand. I interlocked our hands together and pulled her towards the living room. I sat down first and pulled her down with me causing her to giggle. She then snuggled into my chest, not really paying attention to the current movie playing on tv. We were lost in thought. Happiness surrounding us.
Two movies in that's when Sophie decided to come intervene between Krissy and I. I bet she was bored considering that one of her friends was with me instead of her. Oh, how the tables have turned.
"Let's go play in the snow!" Krissy said pulling me up from the couch. Sophie nodded, bouncing with excitement. I looked at Krissy and loved her even more. She stood in front of me, wearing my t-shirt and sweats, looking like the most gorgeous girl in the world. In that moment, I knew I chose the right girl for me.

Krissy's Point of View
I parked my car. I was nervous. My last semester of school was about to start. I was more than happy to begin learning what was left and finish high school, but I was even more nervous about the news. How were people going to react to the school's nerd dating the bad boy? I knew one thing for sure. Today was not going to be easy.
"Relax babe. Everything will be fine." Blake said taking my hand in his. The warmth he gave me slightly calmed me down but I knew it was going to take a lot more than holding his hand.
Blake kissed my temple before pulling me towards the entrance of the school. I focused on going forward but it was hard. All eyes were on us. Girls were glaring at me as all the boys' eyes were in shock, surprised to see their god with me. I suddenly felt subconscious. I wanted nothing more than to hide in the library. No one popular ever goes in there. Wheres Morgan?
"I'm right here princess. Nothing will hurt you." He whispered in my ear. I took a deep breath in and headed to my locker as we entered the school. He was right behind me, not leaving me alone. "Krissy."
"Yeah." I answered barely above a whisper. I unlocked my locker and grabbed my textbooks. I wanted to solemnly focus on learning and forget about everyone's questioning looks. One thing was on their minds and that was what happened during break. No one knew about what Blake and I went through. No one knew that I was really Kate and I hoped it would stay like that.
Being Morgan's friend, people always questioned her about me. They wanted to know how a beautiful girl like her could be best friends with a nerd like me. They would try to change her mind about me but nothing would, for that I was grateful. I don't know what my life would be like if I had never met her. I sure as heck would not be here in this moment dating the bad boy. Even then, to this day I still didn't know why she chose to stay friends with me but I'm blessed to have her in my life.
"Where's your first class?" Blake asked me. He was leaning up against my locker. His black leather jacket on and his black shades on his eyes. I knew he didn't care about the wandering eyes but I did.
"With me. Sorry Blake." Morgan said wrapping me up in a hug. I laughed. This was what I was missing. "So, ready to go to homeroom?"
"More than anything." I mumbled. I wanted to get out of this hallway. I wanted to disappear and become invisible. Maybe then, people would stop talking about me.
"Let's go babe." Morgan said throwing her arm over my shoulder. She began pulling me away, only to be stopped. I was being prohibited to move as a hand encircled my wrist. The heat that was transferring up my body gave me a clue to who the hand belonged to.
"Where are you going?" Blake eyed me curiously. He had a small smile on his face. I bet he was enjoying my interactions with Morgan. She was always so energetic and bubbly. Add that to the list of things that aren't me.
"Class Blake." Morgan answered for me. She rolled her eyes as Blake's blue eyes focused on me. I felt my cheeks start to redden as his gaze stayed locked with mine. I wanted nothing more than to look away but I was stuck in a trance. I was locked in and I never wanted to move.
"You can't leave without saying bye babe." Blake said pulling on my arm. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck, breathing in his scent. He smelled delicious.
"Bye Blake." I said with a cheeky grin. In that moment, I forgot I was surrounded by classmates and annoying prissy girls. I could only focus on the blond boy in front of me. He smirked before dipping his head down. I closed my eyes and let my lips move in sync with his. I felt myself melting as he pulled me in closer to him. His tongue grazed my bottom lip before pulling away.
I was left in a daze. I blinked a few times, focusing on the giant smirk my boyfriend had on his face. My cheeks reddened even more as I heard gasps around me. I guess PDA isn't something Blake steers clear of. I slightly shook my head and let go of Blake. I instantly missed his warmth, but I needed to get to class. I interlocked my arm with Morgan who was smirking. I rolled my eyes and began to pull her towards our homeroom.
"That was something." Morgan smirked. I rolled my eyes, still feeling the sparks as we kissed. "Didn't know you guys were so cosy." I went in to smack her only stopping when I heard Blake shout.
"Bye babe. I love you." Blake called out. My eyes widened as those three words left his mouth. This news was never going to die down. There goes a smooth last semester.

Blake's Point of View
I looked around for my girl. I had huge news for her. After we started dating, well after we kissed, I sent in my football videos to like twenty coaches. She had encouraged me to chase my dream. At that time, I didn't know what my dream was. All I knew was that I wanted to get out of here. I didn't want to stay in Connecticut. I wanted to travel the world and experience knew things. But now, my whole perspective on life has changed. For one, I had grown closer to my twin. We were best friends. I finally could trust the sibling I had lost a long time ago. I have also forgiven my mother. We were slowly mending our relationship and she seems to have changed for the better. She's now the mom I always wished I had. My dad is still my dad, working his ass off, but I wouldn't love him any less.
Now the only thing new in my life was Krissy. She changed my entire world without trying to. I wanted to thank her but I didn't know how. So applying to college was the only thing I could think of. Besides, I just heard back from 5 of them. I'm sure she is going to be excited to hear that I want to go to college.
School had just gotten out and I was itching to see Krissy. Somehow, I managed to not have a single class with her. My Spanish class is a different time now. The only time i'd be able to see her was lunch and even that, I didn't see her. She was probably in the library hiding from all the attention. I overheard some girls gossiping about how she got me. Rumor is that i'm hypnotized and that she's a witch. That was all boloney. That only added to my long list of reasons as to why I want to leave Connecticut.
"Blake!" Asher called out. He was waving at me from the football coach's office. He had a large grin on his face. I wondered what got him so excited. I made my way over to coach's office, seeing that he wasn't in there. Well that was odd. I turned back to look at my best friend. Maybe he had seen Krissy today.
"Hey Ash! Have you seen-" I got cut off.
"Hello Blake Tyler. I'm Fred Carver. I am the recruiting coach for the UCLA Bruins. I am interested in offering you a spot for our team." A dark haired man with a small stubble growing on his face introduced himself. He was wearing the UCLA yellow and blue. His built informed me that he used to play football, probably quarterback. I guess he was now helping others live their dream. Wait, was he trying to recruit me?
"Hello, nice to meet you." I see extending my hand out for him to shake. He quickly took it.
"Now, I know that it is your first day back at school but I would like to make a time for you to come sit down with me. The Bruins and I are very interested in you. We are prepared to offer you an athletic scholarship if you join our team." He said in an authoritative voice. I widened my eyes as I realized what he was saying. "I know this is a lot of information. But, do give me a call. I look forward to meeting with you."
"Yes sir. Thank you so much." I said feeling myself not knowing what else to stay. I was star struck. An actual team wanted me. Yes, I had offers from other schools. But none of those were a division 1 school, much less one across the country.
The recruiter excused himself. I watched as his figure disappeared through the hall of lockers. I was bug eyed as I turned to my best friend. He had a gigantic grin on his face. I bet he knew all along. Asher had been talking about going to UCLA for the longest time. He applied a couple months ago and I never found out if he got in.
"Dude! That was awesome! We're going to be Bruins!" Asher shouted. He gave me a bro hug. His excitement and grin never leaving. Now I definitely couldn't wait to tell Krissy. The best part was that I was going to be going to school on the West Coast, playing football with my best friend. Life definitely could not get any better than this.
"Dude! I can't believe that just happened! I have to go find Kris." I said leaving him. I nodded, agreeing with me. I quickly jogged out of the office and out of the locker room. I went straight to the front of the school. She should be around here somewhere. I felt my phone vibrate in my jacket pocket.
Blake, i'm going with Morg
I quickly looked up. The snow was covering the side walk as students walked to their cars. Others were standing around, talking to their friends. I bet they were all catching up about break. I scanned the area, my eyes falling on Morgan.
"Morgan!" I shouted. Her brown eyes flicked to mine before excusing herself from her other friends. I always wondered how she could be friends with all those bimbo cheerleaders. All they do is gossip and talk about useless crap.
"Hey Blake." She said coming over to me. She gave me a small smile. "What can I do for you?"
"Have you seen Krissy? I have huge news for her." I said feeling my excitement come back.
"She told me she was with you." Morgan said confused. That only made me confused too. "She's not with you?"
"No." I said shaking my head. I looked around, not seeing her anywhere here.
"She drove here with you right?" Morgan asked. I nodded. I wanted to be with her before school started. She was hesitant at first but soon agreed when I kissed her.
"Where is she then?" I asked. I felt my phone vibrate again.
i'll call you tonight xx
"Is that her?" Morgan asked. I nodded. Something seemed off. "What did she say?"
"She said she'd call me tonight." I told her. I looked around once more and looked down at the phone. I wanted to call her and ask what was wrong, but I knew I couldn't. If Krissy was hiding something, sooner or later she'd tell me. "I'll see you later Morgan."
She nodded, eyeing me weirdly. I walked over to my car and turned it on, letting the heat blast. I had almost forgotten it was freezing temperatures if it wasn't for these last events. I wanted to find Krissy and tell her the news, but first I needed to find her and make sure she's alright. And, there was only one place she may be: the diner.
