HANAHAKI BASIL (Part 2; A strange journey)

Haki looked into the Mirror. He felt different.

Haki got up and wondered what he can even do here. Then he spotted a door. he walks up to the door.

Then remembers that he doesn't have a weapon. He looked around the room, he then saw a pair of sickles.

They were shiny, He could see his face in the round, smooth blade.

These will do. Haki  thought

Haki walked back to the door. feeling a bit safer. He reached for the door nob, and opened the door.

When he peaked his head out of the door. He is greeted with bright colors.

Three people stood in that room, talking, two with a slight orangish hair. And one with Brown hair. Both with orangish hair were male and had the same eye color, a golden color. The brown haired was female, and he couldn't see her eye color. Then, They all turned to Haki.

The younger Orangish brother seemed disappointed.

"Aww! He doesn't look funnn.." The younger brother growled.

"Shut up!" The older brother yelled. "Be at least a little bit nicer to the new person."

Haki could tell that The brothers shared a good bond, The brown haired girl finally go into my seeing range. She had a Orange bow on her head and had deep green eyes.

"He does look boring." The girl cringed. "Get him outta here, Hero! Your the adult."

Haki backed up, he turned to the door but it was locked. He turned back to them and pushed himself against the locked door.

Hero slowly walked up to Haki. "Whats your name, Kiddo?" He whispered in his ear.

Haki's eyes were wide with scare. "B-Ba" He paused, he couldn't say his name! He looked down at the floor. "H-Haki.. My name is Haki.."

Hero stared into Haki's eyes. Then whispered "Listen, I'm so sorry what my friend and brother has said to you. They are so out of control these days."

Haki's eyes shrink. What? He thought.

Hero was different from the other two. Then, a boy with pale green eyes, black and green faded hair walked into the room.

"Kel, If your going to act mean around new people then I dont think you should be the one in here." The boy said with a calm and charming voice.

Haki blushed a little bit. Who is he? He thought. He looks so cool..

Kel, Hero and the brown haired girl exited the room, the younger ones walking out swiftly, while Hero just walked. He turned back and smiled at Haki.

The boy walked up to Haki. "Hello, New person. Whats your name?" A girl with green hair and the same pale green eyes entered the room.

"O-Oh.." Haki was blushing. "M-My name i-is H-Haki.." The girl gave the boy a smug expression.

"Its nice to meet you, Haki. My name is Sunny. And thats my sister; Mari." *He pointed to the girl behind him.

"I-Its nice to meet you both.." Haki was still pressing himself against the door.

Mari walked up to Haki and tapped his face. "Whats wrong? Why so red." She gave a smug expression before giving her brother the same expression.

"Hey!" Sunny blushed. "Stop it..." Mari chuckled.

Sunny turned to Haki again. "Do you want to hangout with us?" Sunny's cheeks were a little red.

"Sure.." Haki felt already attached to Sunny, afterall, he is apart of Basil so he will be attached.

They walked out the door and went to a tree overhang spot. It seemed like a interesting place.

They sat under the big big tree and Mari pulled out a deck of cards. But as she pulled out some cards managed to get out. Haki and Sunny reached for the same one and touched hands, they looked away from eachother and Sunny grabs a different card on the grass.

Mari got that same smug expression. She can always tell when her brother is like this probably. Blush grew on Haki and Sunny's faces.

Then, the same three people came up to Sunny, Mari and Haki. Hero the older one trying to stop them from getting any closer. Mari chuckled at the sight of Hero trying to protect her and her brother and his new friend.

"G-Guys! Stop!" Hero told them, but they kept on walking towards the small other group of friends.

"Look its the lame losers." Kel chuckled. Hero from behind him was just trying to get everything under control.

Sunny turned to Kel. "Stop being such jerks." He told the. The brown haired girl, who he still didn't know the name of, Pointed her bat to Sunny's face.

"Shut up, Stupidass." She told him. "Were not here for you guys. were here for Haki.

Hero got inbetween The girl and Haki. "Now, Now. Aubrey. There is no need to be pushing new people around!"

Aubrey hit Hero with her bat. "Shut it! We are here to show him who is the boss of this forest."

Hero groaned "You- Two are here to show him-" Aubrey hit Hero again.

"I SAID SHUT IT, NERD!" She faced Haki, then swung her bat into his stomach.

"Listen up, Punk! We are the ones who are in charge here! And if you want to mess with me, Kel or.. Maybe even Hero.. We'll bust you up and feed you to the talking flowers!" Aubrey swung her bat again. But Sunny caught it. Glaring at her.

"Stop it!" Sunny yelled. Then, A small stream of blood flowed from Haki's mouth. He coughed. Flower petals came out of his mouth. His eyes open wide with terror. Then, Basil woke up.

That was just a dream? Basil thought. Thinking of the Pale boy with dark cyan hair.

He then thought about the stream of blood, and the flower petals. He checked around him to see if there was anything like that.

There was. On his shirt. His shirt soaked in blood and a few blood stained flower petals laid there.

Basil's eyes opened wide with terror. What is this?! He thought.

Basil looked around the room. nothing was different. No things moved, just the blood and flower petals on Basil's shirt.

He got up swiftly and rushed to the bathroom, he felt like he was going to vomit. He reached the the bathroom in time and vomited. Instead of what you would normal expect from throwing up.

It was all blood and flower petals.

Basil backed away. Wiping his mouth with his arm. He looked in the mirror to see that same pale, dark cyan haired boy flash each time the light flickered.

Basil started to breath heavily, he starts panting. He more he breaths out, flowers petals followed along. and each time he breathed in. The smell of flowers got stronger.

He tried to hold himself to together. He feels like his entire stomach is empty. Like every last drop of blood in his body has gone.

He sat down on the cold hard floor.

(Btw, please help me the m3gan music is playing as I write this 😰)

He looks at the blood stained floor and a small stream of blood flows from his mouth. Just like from that dream he had.

He takes a deep breath and starts to think about the things that made him feel happy. Sunny. Is the first thing that pops into Basil's mind. The boy of his dreams.

The boy with short straight black hair, the black eyes and pale skin. And the most lovely smile when he smiles. Basil sighs and suddenly it felt like he returned to normal.

Basil got up and went back to his room to change, he looked at the clock as he changed.

5:47 am.

Basil felt like it was later then it was right now. He got into some clothing for the day. A grey oversized hoodie with flowers printed across the arms. Some short shorts and some thigh highs.

Basil felt like he dressed differently then he normally did. Maybe it was because Sunny was just racing in his mind.

He realized that having just a hoodie on would be a bad idea. He took off the Hoodie and put on a white shirt. Then put it back on. He forgot it was summer.

Basil grabbed his watering can and starts to water the flowers.

After its done. Basil checks his fridge for a simple breakfast. But there is not anything that seems to be simple enough and wouldn't take effort.

I guess I'll just skip breakfast then. Basil thought. trying his best to not remember what had just happened. He put on a mask to make sure no blood would drip from his mouth would be visible.

He walked out the door as dawn was barely breaking. The wind blowing heavily still. It was a good thing he brought that hoodie.

He walked over to the park. No one was there so far. It still was pretty early anyways.

Basil walked over to the bench and laid down on the bench. He tried to fall back asleep, To return to that werid dream..

The wind was blowing hard. How could it be so cold in summer? he thought.

He saw Sunny and Kel walk up to Basil. Basil was curled up on the bench. Sunny sat next to Basil's curled up body.  Basil blushed and got up swiftly.

Sunny could see Basil blush. He put his hand out and waited for Basil to take his hand.

Basil blushed harder.

Basil put his hand on Sunny's. His heart was pounding hard.

Kel was acting like he wasn't seeing what was happening between Sunny and Basil.

Kel went on his phone, probably recording this entire thing so he could show it to Aubrey next time they meet up.

Basil feels embarrassed.

Maybe Sunny is just think of this as a friendship experience? Basil thought, that's what made all the joy from Basil's face drain. He slowly pulled his hand away from Sunny's hand.

"Sorry.." Basil scooted away from Sunny.

Basil could see Sunny was a little upset that Basil stopped holding his hand.

Kel put down his phone. "Oh, Yeah! Basil, do you want to hang out with us today?"

"Uh!" Basil tensed up.

"Well..?" Sunny said. "What do you say?"

That made Basil feel bad that he was going to say no. He heard a voice in his head just yelling, BOO!!! LAME!! If you say no, you're a loser!!! Basil knew that voice.

Basil knew the voice as the little boy with the dark cyan hair, named Haki. He tried to push the negative words aside. But they kept on coming.

Stop being so pathetic and say yes. They kept coming and coming, it made it seem like Basil was crazy in front in his own crush and his best friend.

He scooted away. "I-I-I"

He got up and ran away.

He looked back and saw Sunny frowning a little bit.

That made Basil feel really bad. Tears started to stream down his eyes as the negative comments kept coming back. And he saw the boy floating in the air, he was transparent.

YOU IDOIT! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT! YOU JUST LOST YOUR ONLY CHANCE! He yelled at him. YOU ARE SO STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!! The boy kept yelling.

Basil ran into his room and flopped onto his bed, crying.
