48- Who is She to Talk About Love

After hours of horse riding, the emperor and empress finally arrive in Shan Mountains.

"This is beautiful.." The empress exhales. The scenery there is breathtakingly beautiful.

"Follow me."

After a short distance, they finally see the cottage.

"Tian-a!" *oh my god

"Do you like it?"

"It's perfect! Thank you so much!" The empress cries out of happiness. She hugs the emperor tightly.

"You are welcome." He smiles proudly because he can finally makes her happy.

"Let's get in."

The inside of the cottage is very simple. It contains two bedrooms, a kitchen and a study. They also have a backyard to harvest vegetables.

"It's just like what I wanted." She wipes her tears.

The emperor strokes her hair. She is too cute, he thinks.

"Everything I did is for you, my love." He cups her cheeks and smiles at her meaningfully. The emperor leads her to the main bedroom area. And then pull her closer. He pins her to the bed, breathing heavily.

"Even the horse-washing date?" The empress asks, making the emperor who already closes his eyes, pulls up.

"Huh?" The emperor is too confused and embarrassed.

And the empress only smiles looking at his reaction. "I'm just kidding." She pokes his nose.

"Was it that.. bad..?" The emperor feels awkward.

"Hm. Yes, it was bad." She just says the truth.

"I'm sorry.. I wasn't thinking very well.. I did not know-" The emperor's words get cuts off by a sudden kiss.

The empress moves forward and kisses him on the lips. She doesn't think very much, all she knows is that she loves this guy in front of her.

She kisses him slowly, tasting his full lips. Her body becomes hot and she craves for more. She demands him to let her kisses him deeper. Her hand is placed comfortably on his cheeks. The emperor hugs her closer as their tongues meet. She is out of breath but refuse to let him go. His fingers is reaching her robe and quickly untie it.

The empress lets him to take control of her body. He undresses her with one hand and touches her with the other one. He messages her body, making her already hot body begs for him. Every touch of him makes her go crazy. She wants more. The empress moans when he kisses her neck. And then he goes down to her breast, sucking and bitting it playfully.

She couldn't help but to moan louder when he licks her. The empress breaths uncontrollably and her heart beats very fast. It's not very long after that she feels the greatest pleasure of being Long Gege's wife.

The sun has not rose in the forbidden kingdom, but Consort Hua has. She couldn't sleep all night, waiting for the morning to come. The night somehow become longer because she woke up every hour to check.

"Tutu! Tutu!"

A sleepy servant come running to her chamber.

"What happened my lady?"

"Help me prepare."

"What for my lady?"

"The crown prince will come today.."

Tutu couldn't believe her ears. It is still very dark outside yet the consort wants to prepare?

"Isn't it is too early, my lady?" Tutu rubs her eyes. The consort had never woken her up this early before. Even on Consort Hua's wedding.

"Tutu.. this consort thinks the earlier the better. Then we can have more time to prepare."

Prepare for what? Tian-a! It's just a casual visit. Tutu can prepares the whole set up in less than three minutes!

But when Tutu looks at Consort Hua's enthusiastic smile, she realizes. It's not just an ordinary day. This means the world for Consort Hua. And Tutu as her servant will make sure of that.

So Tutu quickly prepares Comsort Hua's favorite rose bath and elegant soft-pink robe.

When Consort Hua takes a bath, she picks out the most beautiful hair pieces and jewelry.

The sun finally rises and consort Hua already finished dressing up and putting on her make up. She looks elegant and fair, like real-life goddess.

"Do I look good?" Despite her extreme beauty, the consort is somehow feels not confident in her looks, very unusual. She touches her face searching for any displeasing spot.

"The best my lady." That is not a question at all for Tutu, or literally everyone.

"Do you think that he will thinks the same way?" She stares at her reflection, worried.

"For sure."

"Let's hope for the best then."

Tutu finished preparing the table set up and chooses the best tea for today. Ginseng tea with honey. The most precious and expensive tea in the whole continent. Tutu gives extra care and attention today, because she wants to makes it perfect for the consort.

"Tutu did you prepare the tea? How about the table? Should we mop the floor before he comes? Wait! Where is the aromatherapy? Go find it now! I will arrange some flowers to decorate the table.. bring me some roses from the garden!"

Seems like the consort is very detailed today. Even on things that she doesn't usually care about..

"My lady, you have to eat first." It is almost noon but the consort hasn't even eaten her breakfast.

"Wait, I have to finish this flower arrangement first." She want to make sure everything is perfect before the prince come.

It it few hours past noon, but there's no sign of crown prince's arrival.

Consort Hua sits by herself on her study with the rose arrangement she made earlier that day.

"Tutu, do you think he will come?" She looks devastated. The consort already know the answer, but she still asks.

"There's still time my lady." There's no time anymore. Casual visit can not happen past noon in the forbidden city. And it's already hours past noon. The crown prince is not late like what Tutu claims to calm the empress down these past few hours, he is not coming.

"He won't come, will he?" The empress starts to loses hope. She smiles bitterly at her reality. "Tutu you know it also. Right?" Tears starts forming in her eyes.

Tutu couldn't answer. She doesn't have the heart to hurt her lady. Consort Hua was so excited for this moment, she even willing to go out of her comfort zone to prepare for all of this. And to see her like this, is surely depressing.

"My lady loves the crown prince with all her heart. There must be a miracle waiting for my lady." Tutu hugs the consort who is sobbing. Comforting her in every way possible.

"Tutu, who am I to talk about love? I'm the worst person in the entire continent." She says crying.

"That is not true my lady.." Tutu sobs out of emphathy. "My lady, this servant has prepared your favorite noodle. Why doesn't the consort give it a try?" tutu tries to shift the attention away.

"..."

"Let's go my lady."

Consort Hua sadly shoves the noodle into her mouth,  it doesn't taste like anything to her but despair.

"Tutu make me a berry tea." She asks lightly, like she doesn't have any energy anymore.

"Are you sure my lady?" Ever since Consort Hua met the crown prince, she hadn't drink the Hua berry tea, the poisoned tea. Because in her heart, she wants to have more time to spend in this world with the crown prince. Even if it's just a few days more.

"Yes."

The consort drinks it in one gulp, even though it is extremely bitter.

Tutu pities her, but she couldn't say anything. The consort's heart is broken into pieces.

"I will be go to my room, you are dismissed." Her tone is so desperate that tutu doesn't want to leave.

"My lady-"

"Tutu please leave me alone." She stands and walk away.

Tutu can only look at her lady leave sadly.
