Well, I did not want to clarify this, but still I am clarifying it as I see some confusion in the story...

So yeah let's start.... 😴 Don't judge Neil's character by the previous book

"Admiring Bond".

And maybe because you all are so excited to see the couple together, you are misunderstanding a father's POV.

Neil saw his 5 year old daughter feeling sad for a boy, crying when her friendship with that boy broke up, Neil saw insecurity rising in his 5 year old daughter that she is not a good girl and that is why someone broke friendship with her.....So in all this, what do you expect from Neil in return that he will let his daughter go through that situation again...?

Obviously not, he will make sure that his daughter never cries for a boy again...He will ensure that no boy breaks the innocent heart of his daughter who is dearer to him than his life.

And in this order if he has taught his daughter some things like to keep distance from boys then probably he is not wrong.

And I know the story is fiction but if you try to understand the character of Neil from a father's point of view by connecting it with real life, then you will like the story better.

And trust me :, Don't judge the whole story by a few chapters, Neil is not the Amrish Puri type father from old movies who will remain the enemy of his daughter's love story.

Let the story unfold and then judge whether Neil is right or wrong.

" May I come in, Doctor?" Advaita asks Ansh, standing at the door of his cabin

And there, Ansh sitting inside looks up towards the door on hearing the knock and he gets shocked seeing that girl whom if Aarav had not saved, he would have got her sent to jail that day.

Only on Aarav's insistence, he did not file any case against this girl.

He sees her standing with a smile, For some reason he is attracted to that smile at this moment, he finds her smile comforting.

wearing a black suit she looks no less than a boss lady, her personality is such that it attracts people. Her height is approximately 5.9 and on top of that she is probably wearing heels which makes her look taller.

Ansh sees how she's holding a bouquet of white roses in her hand, He looks at her a little more carefully and finds that there are still faint marks on her forehead from the injury she had received a week ago.

" If you're done checking me out, may I come in?" Ansh immediately feels embarrassed by the flirtatious tone hidden in her words, and suddenly he feels that his heart beat is racing, but why?

He composes himself

He tries to calm his racing heart by taking a few breaths in and out and looks at her again, who is still standing near the door.

" You ?" he asks, pretending he doesn't remember her.

" umm, Hello, I am Advaita Maheshwari." Saying this, she walks from the door and starts coming closer to his table.

But as she comes close to him she can't stop herself from drowning in his big, deep hazel eyes, Suddenly the environment around her seems quiet and her throat gets dry.

Meanwhile, Ansh gets a little uncomfortable feeling her gaze on him, and to bring her back to her senses, he clears his throat and makes a sound, upon which she comes back to her senses.

And there, despite not wanting to, but at the same time not being able to think of anything else at this moment, Ansh asks her to sit

" Sit " he says in his cold voice to which she licks her inner dry lips, moistens them and composes herself and sits down on the chair in front of him.

" Thank you." She says while sitting down and Ansh waits for her to speak further.

And with a pause Advaita looks around his cabin and then at Ansh

" I hope you remember me ?" She asks but he doesn't answer her question, yes he remembers this headache but why should he reveal it ?

" You helped me in Lonavala." She reminds him, to which he still remains silent.

" Actually I have come here to say thank you." seeing him all silent and further not being able to think of anything else she decides to start with this

" Thank you ? For what ?" asks Ansh

" Thank you for the help you gave me in Lonavala." Saying this, she places the bouquet in her hand on his table, indicating to him that it is for him.

And there, Ansh looks at her seriously on this gesture but then he takes a deep breath and says

" As a doctor, it was my duty, you don't need to thank me like this miss." Ansh says while looking at her flower indicating to her that she did not need to bring the flowers to which Advaita just smiles.

" I hope I didn't cause you any harm that day ?" She says this on which Ansh remembers everything again and somewhere gets angry....that day she was unconscious but today she is conscious, he will not leave her.

" No, you did not do me any harm because it was my good fortune, But I hope that you will never drink again whenever you drive on the road, otherwise it can cause harm to many people.....If you want to drink, don't drive." Advaita feels bad hearing the taunt on his words.

" There is nothing like that...I don't drink and drive." Advaita gives her explanation

" Oh, maybe someone else might have kept a bottle of liquor in your car that day, right ?" Ansh says on which she sees him

" Well, be thankful that my brother was with me that day who saved you, else you would have been in jail." Advaita gets a little shocked at his words

" What?"

"Yes, in a case of drunk driving." Ansh says, shocking her.

" You are misunderstanding me....listen to me once......" Advaita doesn't like it at all that he thinks like this about her, so she decides to give him an explanation that what he is thinking about her is wrong

" I don't want to listen to you miss, so please leave." Ansh says

"But I want to talk to you..." she says to which Ansh looks at her

" See, you are misunderstanding me...." She doesn't complete her sentence as Ansh interrupts her

" I am understanding you absolutely right.

Haven't you heard that your first impression is your last impression.....and your impression was very good..." says Ansh in taunting manner on which she sighs

" And haven't you heard...don't judge a book by its cover or even just one page?

I know I was wrong that day but not the way you are thinking about me." Advaita says and before Ansh can say anything to her again...she continues her side

" That was my first day, I had never drunk alcohol before that...actually I was a bit disturbed and one of my friends suggested me that alcohol will reduce the pain a little and that's why I drank but I drank only 2 sips...And I am telling the truth, I was not drunk when I hit your car...I just lost my balance because of the rain and..." She gives her full explanation which Ansh again cuts off

" Why are you telling me all this, I'm not interested.... what do I have to do with your life, your problems and why you drank ?" He says on which she sees him

" And now go from here, you have already wasted enough of my time." Ansh speaks in a rude tone which irritates her, Only the face of this man is handsome...his words are so bitter.

" I wish you had a tongue as good as your face..." she says on which he looks offend

" Is this how you talk to the patients who come to your hospital ? This is your way of talking....I came here to thank you and you......." She is unable to continue as he cuts her off again

" Don't teach me how to talk to my patients.

First you learn to drive and then teach people manners...ok miss ?" He says on which she sees him angrily

" And here, You are not a patient, you are a headache...I had it the day I met you and today again you are giving me a headache.

Didn't you hear me ? I said, leave...." She gets angry at his words but somehow controls herself.

" I hope this headache of yours never ends." Saying this, Advaita gets up from the chair and turns to leave but stops at the words of Ansh.

" Take this flower with you." At his words she turns to him with a tight smile

" I never take back anything I give to anyone." At her words, he looks at her

" And if you want me to take this flower back, then give me back my heart too, which you have stolen, Doctor Ansh Mehra." She says, shocking him, and saying this she walks out of his cabin with a smirks on her face leaving him confused, with the intention of coming back here again.

And there, Ansh gets confused as to what this girl said before leaving.

" Control, Advaita, control...." Coming out of the hospital and sitting in her car, Advaita says these words to herself while breathing in and out to calm her anger.

Well, she is angry but at the same time she knows that Ansh is not wrong, her first impression on him went bad.

" What did I think and what happened...huh, how can such a sweet looking man be so bitter, but maybe he is not wrong, he understood only that in which condition he found me....but wait, what have I just done, did I confess anything ?" Thinking about this, she remembers how she told hi. that he had stolen her heart.

" Oh God, what have I done...how could I do this ? How could I fall in love with him......Am I really in love with him?

No Advaita, this is wrong, have you forgotten, your marriage has been fixed." She reminds herself of all these things and thinks that maybe she did wrong by saying those words to Ansh.

But whatever she understood and felt at that moment, she said it but maybe what she wants is not possible now.

She never thought about love or about any guy but for the last one week this one man has been keeping her heart restless, This man has taken away her sleep and from all these feelings she has understood that she is feeling something for him but maybe it is too late now, love came into her life only when her marriage was fixed somewhere else.

Suddenly she feels her eyes getting wet and when she takes her finger to her eyes, she sees her tears on them.

" Now what is this?" she annoyingly says looking at her tears on her finger, she doesn't understand why she suddenly feels like crying, She is a girl who does not cry easily but today, why does she feel that she will lose something, what are all these new things happening to her. She never cried for any guy ? Then why today?

On the other side.

The scene is of Khanna house where it is around 7 in the evening.

Till now Aaira has not come out of her room, she has been sleeping ever since she came back from college and let's say she is pretending to be asleep.

Avni comes to her room several times to check on her but every time Aaira sends her back making some excuse or the other and Avni also gives her, her time without bothering her, she doesn't force her to share with her the things that are bothering her as she knows that when Aaira feels good, she will share things with her herself.

Also, due to some important work, after dropping Aaira home, Neil goes back to the office but still he keeps calling Avni and asking about Aaira's well being because this mood of her is not at all normal for them.

Right now, Aaira is sleeping on her bed hiding her face in the pillow where her tears are wetting the pillow, She is not crying but her tears are flowing, making her even more irritated at this moment.

Meanwhile, Avni again comes to her room to check on her and as soon as Aaira hears the sound of the door opening, she quickly wipes her tears but maybe this time it is too late because somewhere Avni senses her action.

" Aairu..." She says but Aaira keeps lying quietly and Avni comes and sits beside her.

Avni gently strokes her head and caresses her hair

" Aairu, Get up baccha, enough now, tell me what is bothering you." Avni asks her.

" I am fine, you go away from here, I am feeling sleepy." says Aaira

" You have been sleeping since you came...what will you do at night ? and look now it's really too much...I know you are not sleeping...get up and tell me what happened...?" Saying this she tries to wake her up forcefully but as soon as Aaira face turns towards her Avni gets worried when she sees her red eyes which are due to crying

" baccha, what happened ?" Avni asks her after making her sits on the bed and cupping her face, upon which Aaira's eyes fill up even more and now she is unable to say anything.

" baccha, you are scaring me, please tell me what happened...won't you share it with me...? what happened ? Something happened in the college ? Someone did something wrong ?" At her words...Aaira throat chokes.

" Mom, why has he come there?" she asks, to which Avni looks at her in confusion.

" Who?" Avni asks

" That Reyansh, why is he in the same college as me? Why does he try to talk to me when I don't want to talk to him, Why does he disturb me." Aaira tells Avni.

Well, Aaira always shares everything clearly with Avni regarding Reyansh without any hesitation

And somewhere Avni understands everything after hearing her words, his presence still affects her, because somewhere she is still unhappy with his behavior that why did he break his friendship with her when she wanted to be friends with him and this girl is so stubborn that now that he is extending a hand of friendship, she doesn't want to talk anymore but gets irritated by his presence.

" And just for this reason you are wasting your these pearl ?" she asks her wiping her tears.

" And just because of this reason you want to leave your dream college ?" Even on this question of Avni, Aaira looks at her silently.

" baccha, are you so weak that you are allowing someone to dominate you so much that he is disturbing your peace of mind ?" Avni knows that Reyansh is not at fault either, but still when she ( Aaira ) has decided that she will not talk to him then why is she so sad because of him?

" And how many times have I told you, learn to ignore the things that you don't like.....And what do you have to do with who is there in that college and who is not... Tum akele to us college me nahi padh sakti na ?" On this Aaira sees her mother

" Anyone can take admission there, so Reyansh also took admission, why take so much stress over it....You don't want to talk to him, just ignore him, simple." Avni says

" I ignored him, he tries to talk..." Aaira says

" So you do it once and cleared things up." Avni says because somewhere she also wants both the kids to become friends, but this stubborn girl.

" I don't want to..." says Aaira

" ok, so don't do it...but yes, don't take so much stress, you know na how much stressed Papa gets seeing you like this ?" Aaira sees her on this

" And you too get sick if you take stress like this, so just relax." Avni says because this thing is not hidden from the family that whenever this little girl takes even a little stress, she falls ill.

" hmm, Please don't tell all this to papa." Aaira who suddenly feels good after sharing her things with her mother says this because she does not want her father to take any stress because of her.

" I won't tell him anything when you are fine, but if you stay like this sad then I will tell him everything." She says wiping her tears

" No, no, now I'm fine...please don't tell him anything." Aaira says

" Ok but bachha let me tell you something, this much stubbornness is not good...I am not asking you to be friends with him but forget the past....You don't want to talk to him it's fine but don't remember the past either. And yes don't let anyone's thoughts dominate you like this...You still have a lot to do, if you keep changing colleges for such small reasons then how will you move ahead in life ?" Somewhere now that her mind is at peace, she is understanding the things het mother said.

" And Still if you want to change your college then it is your choice but I will say this much that don't change your dreams because of anyone and I will talk to Priyal...Reyansh will not trouble you, okay?" Avni says

" No, you don't need to talk to priyal aunty for this...I have understood what you said...I will do what you said.

I don't know what happened to me suddenly seeing him in college but now I'm fine...., I will remain strong, I will not let anyone disturb my peace of mind." Avni smiles at Aaira's words.

" Good girl, so now you take rest and tell me what would you like to have for dinner?"

" Mom, I don't feel like having dinner..." she says on which Avni sighs.

" Would you like to eat some slap ?" She says showing her, her palm

" No no, instead of that matar-paneer is a good option." Aaira speaks in fear to which Avni smiles.

And then Avni kisses her forehead making her feel good on which Aaira smiles slightly.

On the other side.

Ashish and Raj are on rounds in the hospital, they often come there to see if everything is going well or not

After seeing all that, they meet Ansh and as it is night, Raj tells Ansh that if he has no work here anymore then they should go home together:

Ansh leaves his cabin with his father and grandfather, and before leaving the hospital, Ansh comes to the reception for checking some papers.

the receptionist sees him and decides to congratulate him on his marriage being fixed.

" Congratulations sir." Ansh looks at the receptionist in confusion at her words and at that very moment some other hospital staff come and congratulate Ansh, which confuses Raj and Ashish.

Actually, the receptionist has also informed this news to some other staff of the hospital and as after that information, now Ansh has come in front of them so everyone congratulates him for his marriage.

" Congratulations? For what?" Ansh asks the receptionist and everyone else. He hasn't even done any surgery today for which everyone is congratulating him on its success.

" Sir, you are getting married, congratulations for that." Ansh along with Raj and Ashish are shocked to know this new information about their son.

Ansh sees his father and grandfather staring at him. He is getting married and he doesn't even know it.

" Are you sure this is what was bothering her ?" These are the words of Neil to Avni, at this moment both of them are lying on the bed in each other's arms.

It is around 11:30 pm now, today Neil is late in coming home, and by the time he reaches home Aaira is already asleep, so instead of disturbing her sleep, Neil directly asks Avni if ​​Aaira told her the reason for her bad mood to which Avni doesn't tell him the truth because she knows how stressed he will be after knowing the real reason

" haan, Neil...don't you know your princess...her school competitor has come to her class and she got upset seeing her... but now she is fine." Avni said

" I don't know, but I can't believe it. She can't be so angry for such a small thing..." Neil says, on which Avni gulps, she thanks the room lights are off else he would have caught her lying face.

" Neil, this was the reason for her sadness and nothing else and now you sleep, good night." Avni tells him

" Good night jaan." Saying this, he kisses her forehead but she gets a little shocked when he gets up from the bed after wishing her.

" Where are you going?" Avni asks him

"To see Mannat, is she okay or not..."

"Neil, she is sleeping."

" I know but I don't know why I am feeling a little uneasy...you sleep, I will come after seeing her." Neil says to which Avni sighs. This man is a concerned father on a different level.

" Theek hai, chaliye main bhi saath chalti hu." she says and both of them come to her room together.

The lights in the room are dim and the two come close to her bed where they see that she is sleeping peacefully.

" dekh liya, did you find peace now ?" Neil smiles at Avni's words and then sitting next to her on the bed, Neil strokes her hair gently and bends down to kiss her forehead but he gets shocked when he feels that her forehead is burning like fire.

" Avni, she has fever." Avni gets shocked hearing this and Neel touches her forehead, her cheek with his palm, and he feels that her whole body is burning with fever, seeing which both of them get worried.
