A note for ScrollStack readers : The new update is getting delayed due to my bad health due to which I am not able to write anything but I hope to be able to give an update from today.

A note for wattpad readers : A slight delay and everyone starts asking when will the next update come, so I have always given one answer : early updates depends on the response of all of you.

If you give me a good response, I am ready to give double update but you all please respond on the chapter.

But the thing remains the same as always, I am saying this today, so today I will get good responses but from tomorrow again the responses will stop coming.

I don't set any targets but that doesn't mean that you all should forget to vote, my book is running only because of the inline comments left by 2-3 people, Otherwise, even with 2K plus views, no one deems it necessary to comment.

And I don't have any problem with that either, don't comment because obviously my chapters don't deserve much comments but at least vote if you're reading.

Chapter start

" Aaira, it's okay, it's just a matter of 2 months, it will pass soon." These are Reyansh's words to Aaira which he says with a heavy heart.

Both of them are currently sitting on a bench under a tree in the college ground where Aaira is sitting absolutely quietly, there is a mixed expression of sadness, disappointment and anger on her face.

Reyansh is also sad because of their separation but he knows that at this time he has to make her understand because she is thinking too much.

And okay, even if Neil has done this, he has no complaints against him, he must have done this for Aaira after thinking something.

But at this time Aaira is thinking the same thing again and again which is not right. She wants to question her father decision but somewhere Reyansh feels that it would be wrong for her to do this, she should not question her father on this matter because after thinking something, he ( Neil ) might have done this for her good.

" Aaira, say something, don't keep quiet like this." Reyansh says while touching her arm, on which Aaira comes out of her thoughts.

" I want to go home." Aaira says looking at Reyansh and here also it is not difficult for him to understand this thing, she wants to go home so that she can get answers to her questions from her father as soon as possible.

" But we still have 2 classes left." He tries to stop her by reminding her of this.

" So you do it but I am leaving." She says while getting up from the bench but Reyansh immediately holds her hand and makes her sit back in front of him.

" What will I do here without you." he says

" Now you will have to live without me for 2 months, 2 classes are not a big deal." She says to which he looks at her

" And Please don't try to stop me, I don't feel like staying here right now, you stay, I am leaving." she says but Reyansh stops her again

" Calm down, and come on, I am also coming with you, no need to think unnecessary things." He says to which she looks at him, her heart is feeling heavy but she is barely able to control herself in front of him.

Both reach outside Khanna house, Reyansh stops his bike and Aaira is still silent, She came the whole way lost in her own thoughts, she did not talk to him at all.

But now, when she is about to go inside the house without saying anything, Reyansh stops her.

" Aaira.... He calls her from behind upon which she turns and their eyes meet and Reyansh comes closer to her.

" Please stay calm, don't do or say anything that hurts uncle." He explains to her once again

" Don't worry, I will never hurt him again." She says while thinking something and Reyansh slightly smiles at her words.

" Take care of yourself." Cupping her face, he kisses her forehead while saying this and then he hugs her, where she places her head on his chest and feels his heartbeat with her eyes closed.

And then after staying like that for about 2 minutes, both of them separate and Reyansh says bye to Aaira, upon which Aaira looks at him without any expression.

Reyansh gives her a smile while Aaira turns her face away from him and heads inside.

Reyansh watches her go and suddenly feels a strange pain in his heart which he cannot understand is why he is feeling this way, why does he feel that something wrong is going to happen.

On the other hand, Aaira enters her house and upon entering she sees that coincidentally her father is at home at this time.

She sees her father come out of the kitchen wearing an apron and holding a cake that he probably made for her mother, she guesses so, because her mother is sitting in the hall and her father is going closer to her.

But before her father could go near her mother, both her father and mother notice her standing at the door of the house.

" Arre waah, You have come at the right time...Papa has made your and Mumma's favourite cake." Neil says while placing the cake in front of Avni and then looks at Aaira.

And Aaira hearing this steps closer to them but Neil and Avni look at each other when they see the sadness on Aaira's face

" What happened bachcha, why do you look so sad ?" Neil takes off his apron and asks her holding her by her side

" Are you okay Aairu ?" Avni asks her

And on this question of her parents, Aaira looks at them and brings a fake smile on her face.

" Yes, I am fine, and Papa you have made the cake at the right time, I have a reason to celebrate." Aaira says smiling with her fake smile to which Neil Avni looks at her confused

At first both of them are confused as to why she is smiling falsely in front of them, because obviously both of them are her parents, both understand the real smile of their daughter and at the same time they are confused about what to celebrate?

" Mom, today in college we were told the place of our internship and you know luckily my internship is in Mumbai, So isn't this a reason to celebrate?" Aaira tells Avni to which Avni smiles, well, she is happy that her daughter is not going anywhere.

And Neil also smiles after hearing this from him but obviously he is not surprised because he is the one who got this done.

When he came to know that his daughter might go to another city, he made sure that she doesn't go anywhere else and her internship happens here in Mumbai, because obviously his first worry was how she would manage everything alone and the second reason was that he couldn't stay away from her for so long, So when it was possible for him to do these things, he did it so that his daughter does not go away from him.

" This is really good news, but how did this happen ? Your internship was sure to be in another city, right?" Avni asks about her confusion for once, even though she is happy.

" Mom, what are you saying, how is this possible, this is an obvious thing, how can anything be impossible for the person whose daughter I am?" Aaira gives this answer looking at Neil.

And today for the first time Neil feels sarcasm in his daughter's words instead of pride. Is she not happy? He thinks. But before he can ask her this, Aaira continues

" Mom, my whole class is going to Delhi, but I am fortunate that I will stay here with my family." Aaira speaks again with her fake smile but this time tears come in her eyes while saying this.

And now Avni also starts to understand things, she understands that she is not happy, She is expressing her anger and sadness through this fake smile.

" Is Reyansh going to Delhi?" Avni directly asks this question, making Aaira's heart even heavier.

And on hearing this question from her mother, Aaira looks at her father in disappointment, She noticed how her father always treated Reyansh strictly, but she never expected him to do something like this to separate them both.

" Papa, if you had told me, I would have distanced myself from him, what was the need to do all this ?" She finally asks this at which Neil gets shocked, He didn't do it to separate them.

And before he could explain himself, Aaira doesn't stop there but runs towards her room, because she really doesn't have the courage to fight the person she loves so much.

She cannot fight with her father, yes she had thought that after coming home she will get answers to many of her questions from her father but now just saying one thing that if he had told her then she would have kept a distance from Reyansh, he did not need to do all these things to keep him away from her.

Meanwhile, a shocked Neil cannot comprehend how quickly things are happening in front of him, but when he is about to follow Aaira, Avni stops him.

" Neil.... Neil stops at his words

" What did she say, what have you done?" Avni questions him to which Neil tells her that he got her internship done in Mumbai.

" Avni, trust me, I didn’t do this to keep her away from Reyansh, I just…. He is unable to say further when Avni interrupts him.

" Do not give me any explanation, i trust you and I know why you did all this but Neil you should have talked to her clearly before doing all this, or you could have told me, I would have explained all these things to her earlier, at least she would not have had this misunderstanding about you....You know how she is, and after the way you treat Reyansh it is natural for her to think like this about you." Avni tells him upon which Neil realises his mistake that yes maybe he should have done all this after telling her.

" But Avni you know I really don’t have any problem with their relationship now nor with Reyansh." He says which obviously Avni also knows about it, He is just acting tough towards Reyansh on the outside, while deep inside he has no resentment towards Reyansh and Aaira's relationship.

" And Avni I didn't tell you or her before doing anything because I thought you guys would be happy with this thing, She will be happy that she is not going away from us....I really don't know, she will be so hurt by this decision of mine." Neil says to which Avni sees him

" And if you believe me, I once thought about Reyansh too that I will get his internship done here too but then I thought that I have no right to take decisions for him but I did not know that maybe now I do not have the right to take decisions even for my Mannat." He adds this and Avni's heart hurts seeing the pain in his eyes which is visible while saying these words.

" It's okay, she will understand, she is angry right now but you know her anger is temporary." Avni makes him understand

" No, today her anger is not temporary, today I have lost her trust, she feels that I want to separate her from the person she loves." He says this because today for the first time he saw disappointment, anger and God knows what else in his daughter's eyes instead of love and pride for himself.

" Mannat, open the door." Neil says while knocking on her room's door

And there inside the room, Aaira is sitting on her bed, her eyes are filled with tears but she doesn't open the door

because at this time she does not know what she might say in the condition she is in and she may say something wrong to her father, so she decided not to talk to him at this time.

Well, she is not even sad that she is going away from Reyansh for 2 months,

No, their love is not so weak that it can’t tolerate 2 months of distance, but she is feeling bad that her father did all this.

If it had been a college decision she might have convinced herself once, but her father has done this deliberately to keep her away from Reyansh. She thinks this.

She has noticed that, although her father approved of her and Reyansh's relationship, but till date since he got to know that Reyansh is her boyfriend her father has not talked to Reyansh nicely, he has always been strict with him.

Well she didn't pay much attention to all these things earlier but today with his decision she has understood that her father doesn't want her to stay with him and that is why as soon as she got this chance she did not miss it to create distance between her and Reyansh.

Time passes, it is almost 6 in the evening, Aaira was not talking to anyone after coming back from college, nor did she open the door of her room so that Neil or Avni could talk to her.

Both of them tried several times to get her door opened but when she did not open the door even after several attempts, they both gave her her space and did not force her, both decide to talk when she is in the right mood.

But now in the evening, she comes out of the room and sits in the garden, the mild darkness of the evening is spread in the atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Aaira is still lost in her thoughts and thinks that maybe her father will never accept Reyansh, He is just showing his fake approval for him.

And thinking all this she takes a decision because no matter what, no matter how angry she is with her father, her father comes first for her and if he is not happy with something about her then instead of hurting him with that thing every day it is better to eliminate that reason.

She remembers it well, the day she hurt her father when she stopped him from dropping her to college and expressed her wish to go with Reyansh and that day too, without expressing his sorrow, he gave up that thing for her, just for her happiness.

And also remembering many other things that her father has done for her, so if in return all he wants is that she should never have a boyfriend, So can't she do this thing....? and with this thought she dials Reyansh's number with trembling hands.

Her eyes are moist, she knows what she is going to do is wrong, she is going to do wrong with Reyansh but maybe this is the right thing at this time.

" Yes Moonlight." Reyansh says from the other side of the phone

"He...llo" from here, Aaira says with her trembling lips

" Are you okay, everything is fine?" Reyansh asks her sensing the sadness in her voice to which she simply replies "Hmmm"

And before Reyansh could say anything, he felt the ground slip away from under his feet after hearing Aaira's next words.

" We should part ways now." Aaira says and Reyansh is shocked to hear this on the other side of the phone.

" Papa will never be happy with our relationship, that's why we should end our things here." Aaira adds sobbing when she doesn't get any reply from Reyansh from the other side

And Reyansh does not understand how to react to this statement of Aaira, a tear automatically comes out of his eyes and  feeling its wetness on his cheeks, he comes to his senses.

And with this, somewhere he understands the reason behind her words, but why is this girl like this?

Why does she exaggerate small things and make them so complicated, why does she think so much, it's a matter of only 2 months.

" Aaira look, its only a matter of 2 months, why are you thinking so much about things...we... He is unable to speak further when she interrupts him

" No, this is not just about 2 months, it is about our whole life...Papa never wanted me to have a boyfriend but he was just showing false happiness for my happiness." Aaira says

" Aaira it is not like that, you.... he is unable to complete it again, when she continues

" It is like that, and today papa has done a very small thing to separate us, if he does something else in future then I may not be able to tolerate it, that's why it would be better if I end our relationship today...And you yourself had told me not to hurt Papa, so now I will do the same, I will never hurt him." Aaira says all this with her heavy heart.

She wants to be with him but not at the cost of ruining her relationship with her father, she knows that a very small thing has happened today but in future if her father does anything to separate them then she will not be able to tolerate it and maybe because of that her relationship with her father might get spoilt, so instead of that, she ends her relationship with Reyansh.

" Aaira, do you even understand what you are saying, why are you thinking about things at the wrong way, maybe uncle has some reasons of his own...Please calm down, and look we will discuss all this face to face, for now, just calm down." He says

" No, I don't want to talk about anything else now, let's end things, but yes, if you want, we will always remain friends." She speaks the last line with a heavy heart and tears in her eyes and on hearing that, Reyansh's heart and patience both break.

" I don't want you just as a friend anymore and if you end things between us today then remember I will never meet you again." He tries to make her change her decision with these words, but what he hears from the other side breaks his heart more

" You can do whatever you want, but this is my final decision and I will not change it." She says

On hearing this, his throat gets choked but still he manages to speak further, to stop her by warning her once again so that she changes her decision somehow.

" Aaira, I have waited till now, it does not mean that I will wait for you all my life." He chooses his harsh words so that somehow she thinks about her decision once again and changes her decision

And Aaira's heart breaks on hearing his words, however she knows that her heart will never belong to anyone else except him, but she will definitely pray that he finds someone who values ​​him and his love.

" It's ok, I hope you find a better girl than me, who values ​​you and your love, who is not selfish like me." She says and Reyansh's eyes fill with tears

She really thinks if he said that he won't wait for her, it means he will move on with someone else.

" Aaira, last night we made some promises to stay together forever." Reyansh makes one last attempt.

" Forgive me, I cannot fulfil those promises. I also have some responsibilities towards my parents which I have to fulfil." She says and after this Reyansh is really left with nothing left to say.

Well, Reyansh has always loved the fact that she puts her parents first but today things are not as she is making them out to be, they could have sat down and talked about this properly but she is not ready to listen to anything.

But then, before both of them can say anything, Aaira quickly takes her phone down from her ear when she hears her father's voice from behind.

" Mannat." Neil calls out to her from behind upon which Aaira removes the phone from her ear and quickly starts wiping her tears.

And then Neil comes in front of her and his heart breaks seeing her face, seeing her eyes filled with tears, for which he is the reason.
