Chapter start

" For my very beautiful Maa, her favorite lilies." These words are of Reyansh for Avni who is standing at the door of Khanna house and Avni is welcoming him.

And he brings Avni a bouquet of lilies, her favorite flowers, So while giving her those flowers, Reyansh says this.

Well, today is the day where Aaira is going to meet or rather see her favorite singer, Darshan Raval.

And now it is 7 in the evening where Reyansh has come to take her out, he has got permission from Neil for tonight.

" Thank you." Avni says while taking the bouquet from his hands.

" Come inside." Avni tells him to which he nods and comes inside.

" Aaira is not ready yet, she will take 10 more minutes." Avni informed him.

" No problem, she can take 20 minutes, at least with this excuse I will get a chance to spend time with my beautiful maa." Avni smiles at his words.

" By the way, I am already impressed by you, then why these flowers?" Avni asks him further

" Maa this is not to impress you but to love me, and this is a very small thing I have done in return for the way you shower your love upon me.

Thank you for your love and support." Reyansh says to which Avni smiles

" Maa ko thank you nahi kehte." Avni says while placing her hand on his cheek affectionately

" Ok par I love you toh bol sakte hai na...so I love you maa." Reyansh says making Avni smiles.

" No." Reyansh just finishes saying I love you to Avni when Neil who was coming down the stairs hears it and this is his first reaction.

And there Avni and Reyansh looks at the direction on hearing Neil's voice

"She is my wife, you can't say this to her." Neil says while glaring at Reyansh to which Avni sighs.

" Maa, Uncle is a very jealous kind of person." Reyansh leans towards Avni and whispers about Neil's reaction to which Avni glares at him indicating don't say such things about her poor husband at which Reyansh slightly pouts.

And Neil comes close to them but as soon as he comes close, his eyes fall on the lilies kept on the centre table which Reyansh has brought for Avni.

" Who brought these lilies ?" asks Neil

"Neil, Reyansh brought these for me." Avni replies to which Neil sighs and looks at Reyansh

" Why ? What was the need for this?

Look, you have already snatched my daughter, leave my wife, don't say I love you to her from today onwards because that is my right only, and yes, I am the only one who has the right to bring Lily for my lily, for my wifey, so take care of this from now on." Neil says on which Reyansh smiles seeing his possessiveness for his wifey but there Avni mentally face-palm herself.

This man and his obsession with his wife and daughter.

But at the same time on hearing Neil's words, Reyansh smiles thinking something and then immediately gives a reply which he himself did not expect that he would ever be able to say in front of Neil.

" Sorry Uncle, You can give me such warning only in Aaira's case...You cannot stop a son from loving his mother." Reyansh says to which Avni looks at him, so much guts?

While Neil makes faces hearing his words.

" Look don't act smart, just stay away from my wife." says Neil

"I will not stay away from my Maa." says Reyansh

But before they could say anything further, Avni stops them

"Neil, are you a kid ? No, right ? then What is all this ?

He has brought just A flower for me, for that you.... She is unable to finish as Neil cuts her off.

" A flower? Those are your favorite flowers which only I bring for you." Neil says

" So uncle this is good na that now two people will give these flowers to Maa." says Reyansh and before Neil can say anything, Avni interrupts him

" Neil, you go and see if Aaira is ready or not....Reyansh has been waiting for so long."

" So ? He will wait some more....my Mannat will take her own time to get ready." Neil says to which Avni glares at him and this time her glares are enough for Neil to obey her unsaid command.

" Ok, I will go and see her and you stay away from my wifey." Neil warns Reyansh while leaving, to which Reyansh looks at him and Avni shook her head.

But at Same time Reyansh smiles seeing this thing between them that how he ( Neil ) got scared by Avni's glare.

Meanwhile, after Neil leaves, Reyansh again says something that makes Avni's eyes widen slightly.

" Maa, uncle broke my heart, I was thinking of making you my girlfriend by giving you these flowers but he told me to stay away from you, how rude." He says this pouting sadly to which Avni does not take long to understand his mischief.

" You deserve a slap for this act." Saying this she shows him her palm

" Then slap me, a slap from the beautiful hands of such a beautiful Maa will be a different experience." He tells her while showing his cheek indicating that she can slap him.

And while his words make Avni smile, but then she actually ends up slapping him gently.

" Neil is right, you are copying him. You know, you are treating me exactly the way Neil treats my mother, giving flowers, compliments and this flirting and all." Reyansh smiles at Avni's words

" Maa, now it is not a bad thing to copy good things from elders."

He says with a mischievous smile.

And although he hasn't imitated Neil, it's his natural self.

But yes, if he ever has to copy something from Neil, he will do it without hesitation because in his eyes, his would be father-in-law is the perfect man and he will happily become the man whom her love (Aaira) admires.

And where these two mother and son were sharing a loving moment, to the surprise, Neil, who is standing at the top of the stairs, instead of going and seeing Aaira that weather she's ready or not, he slightly hiding from their sight smiles watching this moment between them, Seeing this lovely bond between them he smiles thinking something and then takes a deep breath.

Aaira comes downstairs where she sees Reyansh with his parents and grandparents but obviously everyone is talking to Reyansh except her father.

Her father is sitting there observing how the whole family is paying attention to Reyansh.

Aaira smiles seeing the scene in front of her.

" Papa, kya ab main jaaun ?" Sharing few minutes with her family Aaira asks this to Neil before leaving with Reyansh, at which Neil nods yes smiling at his daughter.

Well he is sending his daughter with Reyansh with a smile because no matter how strict he shows with Reyansh, he knows that his daughter is safe with him.

And while this conversation was going on between father and daughter, Reyansh's eyes were not leaving Aaira as she looks very beautiful and cute in a full and slightly loose high neck white sweater, tucked into a black skirt that reaches up to her mid-thigh. Her hair was open and was styled slightly curly at the lower length.

And there Reyansh as always, matching her look wore a black jacket over a white t-shirt paired with black denim.

Both of them come out saying bye to the family and of course, both of them come out alone because their parents are smart enough to know when to give privacy to their kids.

But as soon as they both come out, Aaira questions him when she doesn't see his bike

" Your bike?" she asks

"We are going by car." he replies, pointing to his car parked outside the gate.

" But why?" She asks and before he can say anything, she continues

" You are so unromantic, I thought we will go on a long romantic bike ride tonight and here you bring the car." she says sadly on which Reyansh smiles at her words

" And who told you that car rides are not romantic." He leans a little towards her and speaks in his husky voice, at which her heart suddenly begins to beat a little faster when her eyes meets his.

" In my opinion, car ride is more romantic than bike ride and I will prove that to you today." He leans in, this time closer to her ear, whispering in his husky voice that makes her heart skip a beat when she senses mischief somewhere in his words.

And there Reyansh stands straight in front of her after saying these words, looking at her with a mischievous smile.

" You just look decent but now I understand that you are a very "ashleel" type of guy who always stays on the same track." And not only today, but these days seeing his increasing mischief, she says this to him while glaring at him upon which he chuckled slightly

" Well, where have you seen my "ashleelta" yet ? And who gave you this false information that I am decent?" He asks, upon which her cheeks begin to turn red.

" It is you who has maintained a decent image in front of the family but don't worry, I will tell everyone that you are not decent." She says on which he smiles softly

"Achha ! By the way, should we leave from here now or should I help you in some way? I mean, should I carry you in my arms till the car?" He takes a step closer to her and she takes a step back with wide eyes.

"There is no need, I can walk myself." Saying this, she walks straight towards his car

upon which Reyansh runs after her and goes ahead of her and reaches the passenger seat before her and then he opens the car door for her and gestures her to sit inside by bowing his head slightly, to which she does nothing but smiles and then sits inside the car.

Reyansh also immediately closes her side door and comes to the driving seat.

Meanwhile, Aaira sits properly on the seat and is about to put on the seat belt but her heartbeat skips a beat again when she feels Reyansh's hand on her arm on the seat belt, and she feels him very close to her behind her, she turns her face towards him, but her heart starts racing, when their faces touch each other slightly and their eyes meet, which are very close to each other.

Her back is pressed against the seat, where one of her hands on the upper end of the seat belt, Reyansh leans close to her where there is barely a few inches of distance between their faces and his hand is on Aaira's hand which is on the upper edge of the seat belt and he is caressing the softness of her hand by touching it with the soft touch of his hand.

" What are you doing?" Aaira asks him after a moment's pause, looking into his eyes, her heavy breath falling on his chin and lips.

" Nothing, just helping you put on the seat belt." He says in his deep husky voice.

His warm breath also falls on her lips, giving her an intoxicating feeling of getting lost in his breath in this moment.

" But I know how to wear a seatbelt, I can do it myself." She can barely utter the words, in his proximity.

" I know, you know everything and you can do everything but when you are with me, let me do things for you." He says looking deeply into her eyes.

" By the way, you look really beautiful." He says

"And you noticed it now?" She says because he didn't praise her inside the house the moment he saw her.

" No, but I cannot praise you in front of everyone like I can here, You are looking so beautiful that my lips just want to feel your beauty closely." He speaks again in his deep husky voice, making her face turn red with his words.

" So my moonlight, can my lips get the honor to touch your beauty?" he asks and the blush on her face makes him realize that it's a yes.

" Say yes Moonlight, I am waiting." he says to which she smiles shyly

" We are outside my house." She reminds him, to which he smiles.

" See, I was so lost in your beauty that I forgot about this thing." he says to which she smiles shyly.

" But now that I have forgotten all my fears and have progressed so much, I will definitely complete what I have started, so my love, yes or yes?" he asks her again for her approval to which she does nothing but smiles on his words and then not teasing him much she says YES.

And on receiving her reply, a soft smile comes on his face and closing his eyes, he kisses her cheek admiring her beauty, and he keeps his lips on her cheek for a few more seconds, but when he moves away from her he sees her closed eyes to which, he smiles and kisses her other cheek, to which her toes begin to curl.

Moving down from her cheeks, he kisses her jaw, making her smile with slightly quivering lips.

Moving his lips up her jaw he goes to her ear and kisses her earlobe, sending a shiver down her spine.

" I so desire to adorn my lips with yours and feel our love through them." He whispers into her ear to which she opens her eyes and looks at him.

Her slightly surprised eyes meets his desire filled eyes.

" But there is a feeling of bliss in waiting too." Saying this he pecks her nose softly and then he places his lips on her forehead, making her close her eyes again in peace with his action.

He moves away from her and their eyes meet and both smile on sharing this precious moment and then in no time Reyansh buckles her seatbelt and straightens up in his seat, making her miss his proximity instantly.

She looks at him with the same missing feeling, upon which he signals her with his eyes, what happened? To which she shakes her head and looks out of the window, blushing, remembering the moment they shared.

But she turns towards him again when he takes her right hand in his and before Aaira can ask him any question, she smiles at his action : He starts the car and places their entangled hand on the gearshift between them, and focuses on the road with a soothing smile.

On the other side, the scene is of Mehra house.

Aarav is sitting at his study table in his room but instead of studying and working, he is sleeping with his head on the table.

Well, these days he loves his sleep more, he wants to stay asleep all the time so that he doesn't feel the pain that he feels when he stays awake.

But his sleep is interrupted when there is a knock on his door indicating someone's presence.

Aarav opens his eyes from his light sleep and gets up from the chair and goes to the door and opens it.

" Bhabhi, Aap ?" Aarav asks seeing Advaita at his room door, while Advaita is looking at him with a serious expression and enters his room.

" Why didn't you tell me earlier that you and Aadhriti have separated?" She asks but there instead of reacting to Advaita's question or showing any other emotion, he just stands there normally as if he has nothing to do with this topic now.

Well on the other hand he is also sure that Reyansh would not have told her anything but at the same time he is not in the mood to ask her how she knows all this.

" I am asking you something Aarav." Advaita speaks to him again

" What was there to tell in this Bhabhi, people meet only to get separated, what is the big deal in this." Aarav says

" What is there to tell in this ? Aarav you loved her and... She is unable to complete it when Aarav interrupts her

" And she didn't...That's why she chose to separate, end of story." Aarav says

And Advaita, the more she knows Aarav, she knows that things are not as normal for him as he is pretending to be, he had forgotten everything in her love, he loved her with all his heart so obviously this thing must be making him sad, so that's why she was surprised as to why he was sitting quietly like this.

He helps everyone, he helped her to unite with her love then how can he give up in his case like this.

And Advaita also came to know about this today, almost three months after their breakup when today while talking to her mother her mother told her that Aadhriti is getting married and she gets shocked because she loved Aarav then this sudden marriage ? and that is why after talking to her mother, Advaita comes here directly to talk to Aarav.

" Aarav she is getting married." Advaita informed him what her mother tells her and this is not a surprise for him either.

Because he knows that she is getting married, her would-be husband is a businessman in Dubai and this guy is of her father's choice.

Well Aarav did not share this reason with Reyansh, he told only half of the story to Reyansh due to some reasons but the complete truth is that while breaking their relationship and taunting Aarav about his father's name that he is nothing without his father's name, Aadhriti herself had informed him that she was going to get married and she was also happy with this decision of her parents.

Well at that time Aarav tried to convince her a lot, wanted to stop things, he told her that if she is feeling scared then he will talk to her parents about them but she had clearly told him that he would not do anything like this if he ever loved her.

And with this, all of Aarav's hopes were shattered when she put her parents' decision above their love.

Well he also knows that she was not wrong in her place because obviously parents come first but when things were like this then why did she first give him hope and then later break his heart, this is his only complaint.

And this act of her has really made him hate love now and somewhere he also hates girls now who first give hope to guys, and when that boy falls madly in love with you, then break their hopes.

" Aarav, can you hear me or not? She is getting married and you are sitting quietly?" Advaita tells him

" So what do you want me to do bhabhi, should I dance in happiness." Aarav says to which Advaita glares at him

" Aarav stop pretending to be normal in front of me...And you were not like this, you ran me away from my wedding, so this time how can you see your love getting married to someone else ?" Advaita asks him.

" Bhabhi, that thing was possible because it was your will and you were ready to leave your parents for Bhai..." Aarav says to which Advaita sees him

" But she left me for her parents and there is nothing wrong in that but now I can't do anything about it.

I am not the hero of any story who goes into the middle of a wedding and picks up the bride from the wedding mandap." Aarav adds to which Advaita listening him silently.

And it is also the upbringing given to him by his family that he will not force any girl against her will, even if his own feelings get hurt, so he did what she wanted, he let her go.

" She has chosen her happiness, so now I wish that she stays happy and apart from this I can't do anything else and I also request you to not talk to me about her after today because I'm sorry to say this, but your sister's name now hurts my ears." Advaita gets shocked at his last words, the girl whose name used to make him smile, the girl whom he used to find excuses to meet, today he is talking like this about her.

But she is unable to say anything further when Aarav senses the presence of a third person between them and looks at the door and he is shocked to see his mother there.

Till now he had successfully kept all these things hidden from everyone! did his mother overhear his conversation ? He thinks.

Seeing Aarav's shocked face, Advaita also looks in that direction and she too gets shocked to see Simran at the door. Things became clear in front of her ( Simran ) when they no longer had any meaning.

Other side

The concert venue was mesmerizing - string lights twinkling from between the railings brightened the atmosphere. Aaira and Reyansh stood mesmerized on the left side of the stage, hands clasped together and fingers dancing to the tune.

Darshan Raval's sweet melodious voice is driving the crowd crazy.

And Aaira keeps her eyes fixed on Darshan and she keeps repeating the tune he is singing along with him.

Sar pe bhoot chada hai tere ishq ka

Naya rang laga hai tere ishq ka, Ishq chadha hai.

Tera rang chadda hai

" Well I would like to praise your favorite singer, through this song he is expressing my feelings for you." Reyansh who stands behind Aaira says these words leaning close to her ear, to which Aaira smiles, turning her face a little back.

Reyansh arms wrapped around her waist protectively protecting her from the crowd so that no one touches her by mistake.

He is letting her enjoy the show of her favourite singer fully but with his care.

" Mere sar par sach me tumhare ishq ka bhoot chadha hai, and the color of your love is getting deeper every day." He adds slightly touching her earlobe to which Aaira smiles shyly.

And the show goes on, On stage, Darshan performs one good song after another and drives his fans crazy with his presence.

With a pause, Darshan interacts a bit with his fans from the stage and in the same interaction his attention also goes to one of his fans who is admiring him from a corner, He can see his admiration in her eyes.

And being impressed by the same admiration of his fan, he calls her on stage.

And Aaira is surprised by his gesture.

"Me?" Unbelievingly, Aaira confirms.

" Yes you, come." Darshan calls her from the stage with a hand gesture and Aaira's heart starts thumping with joy and excitement.

She looks at Reyansh and Reyansh also signals her to go, smiling, and without wasting time Aaira goes straight to the stage.

She is really trembling a little with happiness and seeing Aaira's fan moment on the stage, Reyansh standing below is happy for her.

" Can I hug you once?" Aaira requests him with her cute smile and Darshan who is already a sweetheart for his fans says yes to her.

And excited Aaira hugs him and the crowd below cheers seeing this fan moment, but of course there is a bit of jealousy and disappointment in the fans looking at that lucky fan.

And Reyansh, who was smiling for Aaira till now, his smile also slows down after seeing her hugging him.

" Thank you." Aaira separates from him and tells him and she falls short of words to say anything in his praise but still with the beats racing, Aaira praises his voice, she tells him how his songs soothe her.

But in the middle of this conversation, suddenly Aaira praises the jacket he is wearing, so what was to happen next: Darshan the sweetheart, he takes off his jacket and gifts it to his this fan on which Aaira is very happy on getting a memento from him.

Darshan makes her wear the jacket himself but Reyansh standing below makes faces, hug was okay, but what is this now?

And at last Darshan asks Aaira if she wants him to sing a song of her choice for her?

" I want you to sing your first song "Meri Pehli Mohabbat" for my love." Aaira tells Darshan and Reyansh standing below is surprised by her gesture that she is getting a song dedicated for him while standing on stage in front of so many people.

" Is he here with you?" Darshan asks him

" Yes, there he is..." says Aaira pointing towards the crowd and suddenly the camera focuses on Reyansh's face and suddenly seeing everyone's attention on him, Reyansh gets shy and Aaira smiles seeing his expression.

" Bro, Your girlfriend is very beautiful and this beautiful song is from her to you." Darshan says looking at Reyansh and nothing further but Darshan sings the song "Meri Pehli Mohabbat" on Aaira's request but not without doing some dance steps with Aaira.

And then Aaira also comes down and gets straight into Reyansh's arms and enjoys this song with him and Reyansh does nothing but kisses her on the top of the head, making her realize through this song that she too is his "pehli mohabbat".
