chapter 2

It is night time, in a room a boy is sitting on his study table and there is a book open in front of him which he is reading, reading or just staring at the pages, he is caressing the pages of that book with his gentle fingers.

There is a sweet smile on his lips and his eyes are full of innocence while looking at the pages of that book.

He is smiling while thinking something but immediately gets nervous and closes the book when he hears his mother's voice.

" Reyansh " His mother enters his room calling his name, whereupon he quickly closes the book and turns back where he sees his mother coming close to him

He tries to calm his racing heart and his mother senses the nervousness on his face

" What happened?" Priyal, his mother, asks him

"Nothing." he says composing himself

"Then why are you so nervous?" she asks

" There is nothing like that mom, but, you, here?" he asks but then looks at the glass of milk in his mother's hand.

" Please Nooo.

Mom, I'm not a kid, I don't want to drink this." he says while making a disgusted face, to which his mother glares at him

" The same dialogue every day, but I hope you remember your mom's dialogue too....,"Drink it quietly without throwing any tantrums and no matter how old you become, for me you will always be my little Reyansh." Saying this, Priyal cups his face and forcibly makes him drink the milk, which he drinks with great difficulty but immediately makes a disgusted face at which his mother does nothing but smiles.

"Good boy." She praises him after making him drink his least favourite thing.

" It's better to eat Kalera ( bitter gourd ) than this milk...." He says, still unable to get over the taste of that milk.

"Okay, then tomorrow I will make Kalera for my baby..." she says caressing his hair

" Nooooo " He shouts, to which his mother gently smacks him on the head, calling him a tantrum maker.

" Now sleep, good night." She says kissing his forehead to which he smiles.

" Good night, mom." He says and with that his mother walks out of the room, closing the door behind her.

On the other hand

Aaira is still at Mehra house with her parents and all three siblings are sitting in a room and planning for tomorrow's trip, but amidst all of them, Aarav is a little quiet, which Ansh notices.

" What happened? Why are you silent?" Ansh asks Aarav to which Aarav looks at him

" No, there is nothing like that, I was just thinking about something...." Aarav says and thinks whether he should say what he wants or not

" What are you thinking, tell me..." Ansh asks Aarav

"I won't tell, you will scold me." Aarav says

" Okay then don't say anything." On hearing this from Ansh, Aarav's mouth hangs open, upon which Aaira smiles.

" Arre, Nooo... Listen na what am I thinking..." Aarav says

" So I told you to tell me, why are you doing so much drama, tell me clearly at once..." Ansh says

" Ok, So I was thinking this....wherever you both (he says pointing towards Ansh and Aira) stay, my presence or absence there is the same." Says Aarav

" Hwww, Bhaiya why are you saying this...okay I agree that I love Ansh bhaiya 1 percent more, but you are my jaan." Aaira says while putting her hand around Aarav's neck affectionately

" Huh, I don't think so from your actions." He says, to which Aaira's mouth opens in shock.

" So Yes, what I was saying was that since you both are busy with each other, I was thinking of taking Reyansh along on the trip." Aarav says and at the mention of Reyansh, the smile on Aaira's face fades which cannot be hidden from Ansh. Ansh sees Aaira and then Aarav

" Not at all, this is a trip for us siblings, no extras will be allowed here." Ansh clarifies to which Aarav looks at him

" He is not the extra, he is my only best friend...please." Aarav requests

" I said no, only the three of us will go and anyway Mamu will not like it, nor will Papa, So if you want to come with us then come without him, otherwise I and Aaira are enough." Aaira quietly listens to this conversation between her two brothers and decides not to say anything.

" Okay then I won't go..." Aarav says in a grouchy tone to which Aaira sees him

" Bhaiya, if Aarav bhaiya wants to take someone then it's okay, don't spoil his mood." says Aaira

" No way, he doesn't care about our mood, when he doesn't value the time between us, So it's okay, he can go on the trip with his friend, but his friend will not come with us." Aarav hears this from his brother

" Okay then you both enjoy, have a nice trip, bye good night...." Saying this, Aarav who was sitting with both of them in Ansh's room gets up and leaves and seeing this behavior of Aarav, Ansh gets really angry at him but he controls himself in front of Aaira.

" When Aarav Bhaiya won't come along, what fun will the trip be?" says Aaira

" And you think he won't go? He will be the first one to get ready tomorrow morning....this is his usual behavior, creating drama before doing anything and before going anywhere." Aaira hears this from her elder brother but doesn't say anything further.

The next morning, Ansh is standing in front of the mirror getting ready, and after setting his hair one last time, he comes out of the room with his bag

He comes down the stairs where his whole family is already sitting to say bid bye to him.

First from his house, Ansh will go to Khanna house to pick up Aaira as last night she returned to her house as she hasn't packed her things, now obviously it might be a trip of a day or two but she is a girl, she needs proper packing.

So picking up Aaira from there, their road trip will begin.

" Take care of Aaira." Raj says while keeping his hand on Ansh's shoulder when Ansh hugs him and moves away.

" And take care of Aarav too and please don't say anything to him now, otherwise my phone will keep ringing every second, mom, bhai said this, mom bhai scolded me for that..." Simran warns Ansh

"Mom, his actions are such that I cannot stop myself from shouting at him...but, he was not going, right...?" Ansh, who is well aware of his brother's nature asks this question, he knows that at this time he would be standing outside the house, but still he asks this question to his family member

" Who said he is not going, he is waiting for you in the car." On hearing these words of his mother, Ansh sighs.

" Okay then I am leaving now, bye." Ansh says while hugging Simran and then hugging his grandparents.

" You take care of yourself and them too." His family tells him and with this Ansh comes out of the house and sits in his car parked there where he finds Aarav already sitting on the backseat, who is giving him a grumpy look.

" arre janab, aap ? Aap toh nahi jaa rahe the ?" Ansh says teasing him

" Ya ya, that is what you want that I should not go so that you can make me jealous by showing me your and Aaira's photos from the trip but let me tell you, I won't let that happen..." he says still with a grouchy tone to which Ansh suppresses his smile.

" ok ok but why are you sitting in the back, I am not your driver, come and sit in the front..." says Ansh

" Fayda kya hai ? In some time, Mamu's house will come and then you will send me behind anyway to make your beloved princess sit there, that's why I am fine here." he says leaning on the backseat to which Ansh shakes his head, his drama continues throughout the day, this is just the beginning.

It's not that Aarav is really jealous of Aaira and Ansh's bonding, no he just enjoys pretending to be jealous of their bonding, and it's not like Aarav doesn't worry or care for Aaira like Ansh does, Aarav does and he knows that his baby sister also loves him very much, but he keeps fighting with her because she will not be able to tolerate two over-protective brothers.

Also, he knows his brother too. He is so sweet only with Aaira. Till date, he hasn't made a single girl his friend because as much as he is a cheerful boy at home, he is a very grumpy man towards people outside and especially towards girls but if anyone can irritate this grumpy man then it is him, that is why this grumpy man's mood remains cheerful, that's why the poor guy keeps doing things that get him scolded by his brother, he knows his brother laughs at his antics, but outwardly he pretends to be annoyed.

Soon after picking up Aaira from the Khanna house, the road trip of the three siblings begins. Aaira is happy to see Aarav because the mood he was in last night, she thought he would not really go but now she is happy.

Aaira is sitting with Ansh in the front seat while Aarav is sitting in the backseat. Nice and fast-paced songs are playing in the car which Aarav and Aaira are enjoying by singing in their own voices, Ansh is just smiling looking at them both and remains focused on driving.

It is raining lightly outside right now but according to the weather, the rain will become heavy in some time.

Lonavala is approximately 2 hours away from Mumbai and they are about to reach Lonavala, They were stopping on the way and seeing many places and were enjoying their journey.

" Bhai bhai, stop the car" Aaira says patting Ansh's shoulder on which Ansh stops the car on the side

"What happened princess" Ansh asks her

" Bhai, Panipuri, I want to eat Panipuri." Aaira says looking at the Panipuri stall on the roadside outside the car and Ansh sighs on hearing her demand

" Princess, no unhealthy demands." He warns her.

"Bhai, it's just a Panipuri, how is it unhealthy ?" says Aaira

" ok i agree your panipuri is not unhealthy but being a doctor's sister you don't know the word hygiene, it is not safe to eat here." On hearing this from Ansh, Aarav sitting in the backseat rolls his eyes, He and His hygiene, while Aaira also pouts on hearing this

" Bhai, it is just Panipuri, what hygiene is there in it. And these street Panipuri are much better than the hygienic Panipuri of your restaurant, Your restaurant hygiene Panipuri is even worse, without spices, tasteless." She says that because whenever she is with him and demands Panipuri, he takes her to the restaurant, spoiling her mood.

" Look princess, whatever it is, you are not eating this, and definitely not with me." Saying this, Ansh starts the car and Aaira looks at Aarav in the back with a helping eye

" What? Don't look at me, I'm not going to help, stick to your favorite bhai." Aarav says to which she pouts

" Huh, I have come with such useless people, I wish I had come with some girls, then I would not have to make so many requests for a Panipuri." Ansh looks at her on hearing this.

" For a panipuri you are calling your brothers useless, I did not expect this from you." says Ansh

" And I also did not expect from you that you would not fulfill this small wish of mine." Saying this, she folds her hands near her chest and starts looking out of the window with a pouting face and before Ansh or Aarav could say anything to her, She turns towards them again

" At least get me a butta ( corn )." she says to which Ansh stops the car

" Yes, now you have asked for something healthy." Ansh says but as it is raining lightly, so, Ansh orders hot butta for the three of them from inside the car and then after taking it, they continue their journey.

Moving on, the rain starts getting a little heavier, Aaira turns back and signals something to Aarav which he understands, both of them wants to enjoy this rain but the man sitting in the driving seat will not allow them, so Aaira and Aarav make their own plan to enjoy this rain with just their eye gestures.

" Bhai, stop the car." As soon as Aaira says this, Ansh stops the car on the side

"Now, what happened princess?" Ansh asks her but instead of answering him, Aaira just looks back at Aarav once and then both of them together open their side doors and get out of the car, shocking Ansh

" Are you both crazy? Come inside right now." Ansh tells them before they close the door but instead of answering, both of them close the door and move a little away from the car.

And Ansh just keeps shouting at them to call them inside, which has no effect on the deaf ears of both of them.

Both Aaira and Aarav do some childish rain dance while getting drenched, enjoying the rain thoroughly and now as both of them were already drenched so Ansh also doesn't say much to them but keeps smiling looking at both of them while sitting inside the car.

Aaira asks Ansh to come out with a hand gesture to which he folds his hands and says no, spare me, to which Aaira pouts

But then Aaira signals him to at least take some videos and photos of her and Aarav from inside the car, And following his sister's order, Ansh turns on his phone's camera and takes some pictures in which Aaira and Aarav pose.

But their happy moment soon turns into a shocking one when suddenly a car coming from behind hits Ansh's car.

" Bhaiiii..." Aarav and Aaira scream seeing this and as after stopping the car, Ansh was also not wearing a seat belt so due to this sudden jerk the phone falls from his hand and he himself stumbles

due to which his head hits the steering wheel of the car.
