chapter 28

A new and beautiful morning comes with many new hopes and opportunities. The rays of the sun come out and spread their golden color and positive energy all around.

Amidst all this, Aaira is sleeping in her room, away from the hustle and bustle outside and there is a different happy smile on her face today.

Whereas Avni comes to her room a little late today to wake her up because she knows that she slept late last night and on top of that her classes are suspended today so she doesn't have to go to college.

But still now when it is 9 o'clock, she thinks of waking her up but as soon as she sits next to her on the bed and looks at her face, a smile comes on Avni face too seeing her smiling face.

And seeing her smile Avni doesn't feel like waking her up because she feels that maybe she is seeing a happy dream which she doesn't want to break by waking her up.

But then there is Neil who gets ready for his office but before leaving the house, he comes to see Aaira's face but as soon as he enters her room, a smile comes on his face as he sees Avni sitting next to her and looking lovingly at their sleeping daughter.

" Kya baat hai, how did Hitler let my daughter sleep so late today." Neil comes close to her teasing her and Avni glares at him for saying this

But Neil words are true too, she really becomes a Hitler in the morning and never lets Aaira sleep till late, so it is obvious to hear this taunt from him today.

" There is nothing like that, I just don't feel like waking her up today, look how happy she looks, maybe she is dreaming." Avni says as Neil also sits in front of her on the bed next to Aaira.

" Hmm, By the way, don't you think that she looks a bit different these days, it seems as if she is hiding something, something is bothering her." Neil tells this to Avni after noticing Aaira changing behavior these days.

And obviously once again Aaira's behavior is changing due to her closeness with Reyansh but she is not sharing this with anyone. She is just fighting with her feelings and trying to suppress them this time.

" Yes, I also think so, but Neil, she is growing up now, with increasing age there are certain things that children do not share with their parents, so as parents we also have to take care of this thing that if she does not want to share certain things then we should not force her." Avni says

" Yes, I understand this, but this is not the case with us. Mannat knows that she can share anything with us, no matter what it is and okay, maybe there is something else, but if something is bothering her, she should share it na." Neil says

" yes, your point is correct but don't worry, I will talk to her about this when I get a chance, I will ask her what is bothering her." she says assuring him

" And please tell me when you find out, these days you mother and daughter have started keeping a lot of secrets from me." Neil taunts her, on which Avni is left speechless.

" Now I will not tell you anything for sure."

She says glaring at him to which he looks at her but then both of them smile at this thing and shake their head in disbelief.

" Ok I am leaving now, you both take care of yourselves." he says and then kisses Avni forehead and then he leans down and kisses Aaira's forehead but he is surprised when Aaira wakes up as soon as he kisses her

" Good morning papa." Aaira wakes up feeling her father's affectionate touch and says these words, but when she opens her eyes, her smile widens when she sees her mother in front of her.

" Good morning mumma." Getting up from the bed and hugging her mother directly, Aaira wishes her.

And Neil and Avni smile seeing her like this

"What's the matter, today my jaan looks so fresh as soon as she wakes up?" Avni says seeing her happy energy

" Yes because today I had a very nice dream." says Aaira to which Avni smiles, she was right, she was just dreaming.

" Papa, you know I saw a boy in my dream." Neil's smile fades to which Avni suppresses her smile seeing his expression

" What ?" Neil asks a little irritated to which Aaira first looks at her father in confusion but then after thinking something she says

" Uff papa, First listen to me completely...I did not see any Prince Charming like other girls, I saw my brother." Aaira completes her sentence to which Neil heaves a sigh of relief

"Oh Ansh Aarav." he says to which she shakes her head in no

" This is the confusion, that boy was not Ansh bhai or Aarav bhai...actually I saw a faceless boy who said that he is my brother and you know he was making sure that I stay happy around him." Aaira says to which Avni and Neil get a little shocked to know about her dream.

And this is true in some way psychologically, we often see in our dreams what we desire, we dream about what we think about and since last night Aaira was thinking about her brothers and that is what she dreamt about in a positive way.

But her only confusion is that she saw someone else other than Ansh Aarav who was claiming to be her brother.

" Papa, I wish I really had an elder brother, then he would probably be exactly like the one I saw in my dreams." She finally expresses her wish by sharing about her dream to which Avni's smile slow down which Neil notices

" Bachha, aapke paas Ansh aur Aarav hai na." Neil says to which Aaira nods while thinking something.

" Are you okay?" asks Neil to Avni after coming out of Aaira's room.

" Haan Neil,

Neil he was really her brother." says Avni with some hope.

" Maybe." Neil says slightly smilingly because it is also true that they had a baby boy but he did not survive at the time of his birth and both of them still keep the memories of that child in their fond memories; but today, on hearing their daughter's dream, they suddenly remember everything again.

And Aaira also said all that things without thinking because she was not aware of this things.

" You didn’t come to college today?" Aarav asks Reyansh

At this time Aarav is at Reyansh's house, in his room. Well Aarav wants answers to some questions from Reyansh about which he has doubts but since Reyansh did not come to college, so he has come to his house to meet him.

" My classes were suspended." Reyansh replies to him

" Oh that's why Aaira is also not there and I thought that like last night, today also you both have gone somewhere bunking college." Reyansh looks at him on hearing this but chooses not to say anything on this.

" By the way, tell me one thing, why did you both suddenly leave last night...and you with Aaira ? Did you both reach home without fighting ?" Aarav asks him to which Reyansh again looks at him silently but then takes a breath.

" Yes, we reached home without fighting because we both are not crazy to fight all the time and why are you asking so many questions ?" Reyansh asks him

" No, you both did not get along but still you both went home together and that too without telling anyone, so I thought...… He does not complete his sentence when Reyansh cuts him off.

" It is not what you are thinking..."

"But I did not say anything..." says Aarav raising his eyebrows slightly to which Reyansh looks at him

" Ok let's leave all this talk, let's go out somewhere... it's been a long time since we did a bike race." Aarav says to which Reyansh looks at him.

" Ok, I am coming after changing." Reyansh says and then gets up from there and goes to the closet to change his t-shirt.

But as soon as Reyansh goes to the closet, Aarav's eyes go to Reyansh's study table which is close to the bed and where he is sitting at the moment.

Thinking something, Aarav goes to his study table and picks up a dairy lying there but as soon as he opens the dairy he gets shocked after seeing Aaira's photo pasted on the pages of that diary.

And Aarav turns more pages of that dairy where there are only Aaira's pictures in the entire dairy, pictures from her childhood to her adulthood and there is something written on every page, but before he can read anything, someone snatches the diary from his hand.

" Don't you have any manners that you should not open someone's dairy like this." A scared Reyansh tells Aarav to which Aarav sighs looking at him.

" And don't you have any manners, that you don't take pictures of a girl like this, without her knowledge." Aarav replies back to him on which Reyansh looks at him

" And what is the use of hiding it now, I already had my doubts, today it has been confirmed. And I came here to get answers to these questions...Is something going on between you and Aaira?" Aarav says to which Reyansh looks at him silently.

" Arre yaar, why are you hiding it from me, I had already told you that if there is anything like this then you can share it with me, I will definitely help you." Aarav says.

" If you really want to help me then please don't tell anything to anyone nor ask Aaira anything about this." He says that because now he also knows that he cannot hide this thing from Aarav even if he wants to, but yes, he can warn him not to tell it to anyone.

And as far as warning him about Aaira is concerned, he knows that Aaira knows about his feelings but he doesn't want Aarav to go and ask Aaira anything about this because Aaira might not like the fact that he told all this to Aarav or anyone.

" But why, what is the problem now, you both are together, right ? By the way, Aaira has really grown up, she hid such a big thing from all of us." Aarav says

" Relax, She has not hidden anything from you because she will hide it only if there is something.

There is nothing between us, not even friendship." says Reyansh to which Aarav looks at him confused

And then, clearing his confusion, Reyansh confess in front of him that yes, he likes Aaira but there is nothing like that from Aaira side and he is not going to tell her anything right now. (The last line is obviously Reyansh lied to Aarav that he is not going to tell anything to Aaira because Aaira already knows everything.)

But after hearing this, Aarav thinks of helping his friend.

" Should I talk to Aaira about this, maybe she will understand something...you are not so bad that she cannot give you a chance." Aarav says

" I said na, no and please don't tell her that you know I feel something for her...please." Reyansh requests Aarav on which Aarav, after thinking a bit, agrees that okay he will not tell anything to Aaira that he knows about his feelings.

" Have you forgotten what he did to you? After that how did you come back home with him last night?" These are Ansh's words to Aaira

At this time, Ansh has come to Khanna house to meet Aaira where both of them are sitting in the garden in the pleasant evening weather.

And on this question of Ansh, Aaira is just looking down.

" I have not forgotten anything bhai, but I do not want to remember anything either." Aaira replies just this much on which Ansh thinks something

" Anyway, life is all about moving forward, I don't want to look back." Aaira speaks further and her words make Ansh think of some things.

" What do you mean by that ? He will fool you again and you will become a fool again ? What did he say to you yesterday that you went away with him so late at night without telling us anything ?" Ansh asks her further to which Aaira does not answer anything because she is unable to understand how to talk about Reyansh in front of Ansh today.

She wants to say good things about Reyansh but is unable to do so. She wants to tell Ansh what good things Reyansh did for her yesterday.

Earlier she did not hesitate so much in speaking ill of him then why today she is not feeling comfortable in talking to him about Reyansh

" Bhai I am sorry for last night but please stop this topic, I will not do anything like this in future." She says to which Ansh looks at her.

Well at this time, looking at her, he is unable to understand what she is thinking and neither is she talking to him openly.

" Look Aaira I don't know what he is talking to you about but please don't get influenced by his words again, stay away from him." Ansh explains to her upon which she looks at him and nods her head ok while thinking something upon which Ansh smiles.

" And whatever the situation may be in future, do not disappear without telling me like you did last night." He says and she just nods at this statement of his.

And Ansh sees her changed behavior but decides that he will not say anything more to her today as she already looks sad so he decides to warn her about Reyansh more some other time.

It is night time, everyone is sitting for dinner in Mehra house and Simran is looking at Ansh again and again but then after thinking something she says

" Maa, Advaita ki maa ka call aaya tha." Simran speaks looking at Neela and on hearing this from his mother, Ansh slows down his eating pace a bit.

" Wo keh rahi thi ki jaisa ki Ansh wapas aa gya hai, toh hume ab in dono ki shaadi ki date fix karne ka sochna chahiye." Simran says this but before anyone can say anything on this, Aarav's reaction comes first.

" Kya ? Sch me ? Bhai ki shaadi ? Wow, mom, then fix the date quickly." says Aarav

But Ansh feels a little hesitant to sit there but still doesn't react and keeps eating while looking down at his plate.

" Ansh..." Simran tells him to which he looks up at her

" I'm sorry beta..." Simran says to which Ansh looks at her in confusion

"Why are you saying sorry, mom ?" says Ansh

" Because I have realized my mistake, I am sorry beta for forcing you into this relationship with Advaita but bachha there is still time, if you want, you can refuse the marriage, I will tell them that this marriage cannot happen." Ansh gets shocked by his mother's words

But everyone else looks at Simran and as everyone knows that Ansh has accepted Advaita so why is simran saying this, it is not difficult for everyone to understand what Simran is trying to do with Ansh.

" I saw you at the party yesterday, how you didn't even talk to her..."

" But mom, bhai went to watch a movie too with bhabhi..." says Aarav

" Wo toh tum sab saath gye the, pta nahi wahaan bhi isne Advaita se baat ki hogi ya nahi par haan Ansh ab koi jabardasti nahi hai...tum jaisa bologe waisa hoga...ye rishta tod de hum ?" Ansh listens to his mother and doesn't understand what he should say now.

He returned from there thinking that after coming here he will marry Advaita but his mother is talking about breaking the relationship, how can he stop now his mother from doing this ?

In the beginning, he has shown so many tantrums that now if he says that he wants to marry Advaita, everyone will tease him a lot, Where has he gotten stuck? He thinks

" Mom, is this all a joke, kabhi rishta Jodna, kabhi todna..." Ansh says this while keeping his eyes on his plate and not only Simran but everyone else also smiles at his words, at last he has said something

" So what should I do? How can I correct my mistake...should I fix your wedding date with Advaita? Kya tumhari haan hai ? Iss baar main tumhari marji ke bina kuch nahi karungi...." Simran asks further and Ansh is still looking down, He is not able to notice the teasing smile with which his family is staring at him

" Mom, I have no problem with this marriage, I am ready." Finally, leaving behind all his shyness and hesitation once again, Ansh replies because he knows now if he stays quiet or shows any tantrum then a big mess will arise.

" Haaye, mere sharmile bete ka NA se HAAN tak ka safar....Aakhir pyaar ho gya na tumhe us se ?" On hearing his mother's words, Ansh looks up and sees Simran looking at him with a teasing smile

And then he looks at everyone else who are looking at him with the same teasing smile

" Raj did you hear, our Ansh has no problem with marriage now...because he is in love with our Advaita."

What? When did he say he fell in love?

Ansh hears these teasing words from his mother but he does not stop there and gets up and runs away from there because he has understood that staying here means their teasing will continue which obviously he can't handle.

" Mom, when are you all fixing the date of bhai's wedding." After Ansh leaves, an excited Aarav asks Simran

" Tomorrow, they have invited us to their house to fix the wedding date," says Simran.
