Chapter start

" kya Fayda tumhara dil ke doctor hone ka, jab tum mere dil ka haal hi nahi samjh rahe hai..." Advaita tells this to Ansh who is presently sitting in front of her in his cabin, getting annoyed with her.

Almost again after a week, Advaita who had expressed her feelings to Ansh in clear words a week ago and gave him time to think about her and saying that she will come again to get her answer, so today again Advaita is here.

When she came here, Ansh was seeing a patient, he was not in the cabin and taking advantage of this, she comes to his cabin and sits and waits for him and when Ansh comes to his cabin, he is shocked to see her....and when she does not go anywhere despite Ansh's requests, Ansh also gets frustrated and sits on his chair in front of her and sees her and then as usual Advaita starts talking nonsense again which ansh gets annoyed with.

He is forced to think why this girl is after him like this.

And then in the end Advaita asks him that why he is not understanding the condition of her heart on which Ansh sighs

" jo haal tumhare dil ka ho raha hai uske liye tumhe dil ki nahi, dimag ke doctor ki jrurt hai....Go there, get yourself treated and stop coming here." Ansh tells her very calmly today to which she looks at him

" But what is the reason for rejecting me, what is lacking in me? Advaita asks to which Ansh sighs.

" I don't think it is necessary to tell you that." Ansh says to which she looks at him

" Please, Please save me...marry me, I am about to get married and at this time only you can save me." Advaita finally tells him this as well but looking at Ansh it seems that he is not affected by anything she says

" You are really crazy, your wedding is about to take place and you are sitting here doing all this, do you have any idea what will happen if the person you are going to marry finds out about all this?" Advaita looks at him at his words

" I don't care what happens..." Saying this, Advaita tells Ansh everything about the circumstances under which she is getting married but now she loves him and she wants to marry him so that she can be happy with him, but these words of hers have no effect on Ansh and he again reject her saying that she should quietly get married wherever her family wants and stop her drama.

" And now go from here." Ansh says and Advaita really feels bad that even after knowing everything, her words had no effect on him

" I will die without you." She gives him a final threat to which he smiles

" Do whatever you want to do, but get out of here." Advaita stares at him for his stone-hearted behavior.

But without saying anything further she gets up from there and opens the door but she stops again and turns towards him

" My love, I will marry only you, if not you, then no one else...I will not give up on you so easily." Ansh does not react to her words and Advaita leaves from there saying this and after she leaves, Ansh rubs his forehead because even though he was acting strong in front of her, now she is really giving him a headache.

" Where did I get stuck, neither would I have helped her that day nor would I have gotten stuck in all this." Ansh says while rubbing his forehead.

It is evening time.

Aaira is sitting in her room doing some college work when Avni brings some snacks for her.

" Come on, eat this. Avni says while sitting in front of her. Aaira is sitting on her study table and Avni sits in front of her by placing a chair next to her.

" Mom, I am busy right now, you keep it aside, I will eat it later." She says while making her designs on paper.

" What is this, how much time will it take to eat...eat first, do all this later..." Avni tells her

" Okay, you feed me, this way I will do my work and your work of making me fat will also be done." Avni smacks her on the shoulder for her words, whenever she asks her to eat something she complains that she is making her fat.

But then Avni starts feeding her and Aaira does her work and mother and daughter talk.

But suddenly Aaira's phone rings and Aaira sees that it is a call from one of her new college friends, But as Aaira's hands were already not free to eat, how could she pick up the call...she puts the phone on speaker

" Hello." Aaira speaks while chewing the morsel in her mouth and Avni is ready to feed her another morsel

" Hello Aaira." Her friend speaks from the other side of the phone.

" Did you call for some work?" Aaira asks her and after sharing a few things, Aaira's friend comes to the point why she called.

" Aaira can I ask you something..." says her friend as Avni feeds her another morsel

"Yes" says Aaira

" Will you give me your elder brother's number?" Aaira gets a little shocked and looks at Avni and Avni also smiles slightly at her friend's wish, Well, Avni is not from that era where people make a big deal out of things, she knows that all this is normal in college life. So she just smiles

" Which brother?" asks Aaira, because obviously, she has two elder brothers, so she gets confused

" Arre, the same one who drops you to and picks you up from college everyday." her friend says and this time not just Aaira's but Avni's eyes widen on hearing this word when she realizes that her daughter's friend is mistaking her father for her elder brother.

And Aaira smiles seeing this expression on her mother's face but composes herself when her mother glares at her for laughing at her

" stupid, he is my Dad." Aaira tells her friend that the person she thinks is her elder brother is actually her father

" Don't joke, he is so young and handsome... how can he be your father...It's okay if you don't want to give your brother's number, but at least don't call him your father." Her friend says this to which Aaira sees her mother making a face, probably out of jealousy, and she suppresses her laughter.

" I am not joking, he is my father...and yes there is no doubt that he is handsome but please stop now, my father is very loyal to my mom...so there is no point in seeing him." Aaira says and now her friend is also convinced that maybe Aaira is telling the truth, he must be her father.

" Yaar, your father really turned out to be a Santoor Dad, the daughter has joined college but father is still so young and fit." Her friend further praises her father

" Finish this." Avni leaves Aaira's plate of snacks in front of her and walks away in irritation...It doesn't matter now, they have a 17-year-old daughter: But she still gets irritated if anyone looks at her husband, even if that person is her daughter's friend.

Because she is really very possessive about her husband.

Whereas Aaira sees her mother like this and quickly disconnects her friend's call because she has understood that today her father will be in trouble.

Later, Neil comes home, but as soon as he enters, he finds his angry wife who is neither looking at him nor talking to him.

When he comes and tries to hug her, she ignores him.

After freshening up, he sits in the hall with his parents and daughter, but seeing Avni still ignoring him, he asks Aaira.

" What happened, why is your mother roaming around like a volcano?" Neil asks Aaira to which Aaira tells him what her friend told her today and that the phone was on speaker during the conversation

" What? So what is my fault in this? Why is she angry with me?" asks Neil

" Obviously, if you go to my college looking handsome, mom will be angry with you." Aaira makes her father realise his mistake which is actually not his.

And Neil sighs at this.

" What was the need to put the phone on speaker and talk?" Neil asks her, now it is someone else's mistake and he is getting punished.

" Now how would I have known that she would say something like this...I didn't know my dad was becoming my friends' crush." Aaira says suppressing her naughty smile on which Neil glare at her.

Now here her father is in trouble and she is laughing.

Later, Neil comes into the room and sees Avni putting all his things from the dressing table into a separate box which includes things to take care of his hair and face, his perfume, etc.

"What are you doing?" Neil asks her to which she looks at him

" Don't you have eyes, can't you see, I am cleaning..." Avni replies to him

" ok but why are you removing my things..." asks Neil

" I am not removing it, I am throwing it away...these are the things with which you keep your face handsome na..." She says this to which Neil does nothing but just smiles, she is a college girl who must be of their daughter's age, and here she is so jealous of her words

" Wifey, It's just all for nothing, you know I have naturally glowing skin...I don't need all that, so even if you throw all this away, it will not have any effect on my handsomeness." he says to which she glares at him

And before she can say anything else, he reaches her and takes her in his arms.

" Mujhe gussa aa raha hai." In his arms, she melts and reveals herself, to which Neil kisses her forehead melting her more.

" From tomorrow please go to college looking a little less handsome." she adds to which Neil does nothing but smiles and nods in agreement.

" Anything else ma'am...?" asks Neil

" Kids these days are weird..." says Avni to which Neil smiles

" That is true but there is nothing that can be done about it except ignoring it." Neil says to which she pouts and Neil kisses her immediately to which Avni's eyes widen and she pushes him back letting him know that the door is open and their daughter might come in here on which Neil does nothing but just sigh.

Next morning

The scene is of Mehra house.

Today is Sunday so everyone is at home...Ansh is also at home as it is holiday today and if there is no emergency then he is at home.

So today on holidays he devotes his time to his books, he remains busy with them.

Neela and Ashish are not at home because as today is a holiday, so they have gone to meet one of their friends.

On the other side, downstairs, Raj and Simran are sitting in the hall and talking while drinking their coffee but at that very moment the doorbell rings...the house helper is not there so Simran gets up herself to open the door but Raj tells her that he will see

So Raj opens the door and there he sees a girl of about 20-22 years standing in front of him who is in a peach coloured Anarkali suit. Her long hair is open which she has styled very beautifully.

" Namaste " She greets Raj with her folded hands, to which Raj also greets her, but Raj wonders who is she?

" Beta aap ?" Raj questions her and seeing Raj taking time, Simran also reaches there and seeing her, the girl greets Simran with folded hands, Simran also greets her but then asks her who she is.

" Ji mera naam Advaita hai." she says and Raj and Simran look at each other when they immediately remembers the name and realises that this is probably the same girl who claimed to be Ansh's would-be wife.

" Are you the same person who claimed to be Ansh's wife at the hospital?" Simran asks her, to which Advaita hesitates a bit

" Please forgive me for that mistake, actually I had to meet Ansh and I couldn't think of anything and I made that mistake..." Advaita apologizes to Raj and Simran from her heart, upon which they forgive her saying that it is okay.

And then without keeping her at the door for long, Raj and Simran ask her to come inside the house when Advaita says that she has come to meet them only.

And after that Advaita gives the rest of her introduction, what she does and everything.

" Really? Is xyz your brand? I have been buying only that brand of footwear for the last 6 months... it is a new brand but the quality and design are very good...See, I am still wearing your brand of footwear...." Simran immediately says this while showing her the footwear she is wearing.

She compliments Advaita on her current favourite footwear brand, which makes Advaita smile

" Aunty I am happy to know that you liked my designs... So why don't you make me your personal designer." Advaita tells Simran to which Raj and Simran look at her in confusion

" what do you want to say..." Simran asks her and Advaita, without beating around the bush, reveals to Raj and Simran that she likes Ansh and wants to marry him.

" Uncle aunty mujhe aapki bahu banna hai." Simran and Raj get shocked at her words, hardly any girl would be able to say such things in front of a boy's parents.

But where Raj and Simran get shocked, Ansh and Aarav who were coming down the stairs also get shocked and Ansh is not just shocked but gets angry upon seeing her in his house.

" What are you doing here?" Ansh comes in front of his parents and questions Advaita to which Advaita glares at him

Aarav comes and sits next to Simran silently. Well, Aarav recognizes Advaita that she is the same girl they met in Lonavala but he doesn't say anything right now.

" Mom Dad tell her to leave from here...how did you guys let her enter the house..." Ansh says

" Ansh what is this nonsense...whatever it is, she is our guest." Raj warns Ansh that at least he should not talk like this.

" Guest? She is a headache...she will give headache to you people too.... look get out of my house..." Ansh says to which Advaita looks at him

" Look Uncle and Aunty, despite his rudeness I still like him so much...he reject me, that is why I have come to tell you both, Please accept me as your daughter-in-law..." Advaita tells Raj and Simran, ignoring Ansh glare.

And Aarav hears all this, and intelligent Aarav immediately understands the situation that maybe this girl might have liked his brother that day and that is why she has followed him all the way to the house.

He smiles and thinks, wow what a brave girl she is, Often boys follow a girl to her house in this manner, maybe this is the first time he has seen a girl who has reached a boy's house and she is also talking to his parents directly about marriage.

" Ansh she likes you, then what is the problem...think about her proposal once.." Simran says explaining to Ansh on which Ansh looks at her

" Mom what are you saying...this girl is crazy, I don't want to think about her." Ansh says this to which Raj gets angry again that how can he say this to a girl

" Ansh, watch your words..." Raj warns him to which Ansh looks at his father

" Uncle Aunty, okay I may be wrong, my way is wrong. But at least you should ask him why he is rejecting me, what am I lacking?" Advaita asks, leaving Simran wondering why her son is refusing such a beautiful, successful girl.

" Yes Ansh at least tell her and all of us the reason... why are you refusing to marry?" Simran asks

" Mom, you know I am not interested in all this. I still have to study more and I don't want to get distracted from my path because of all this," says Ansh.

" haan toh main kaun sa chhoti bachhi hu, jo tumhari kitaabe phad dungi, shaadi ke baad padh lena jitna padhna hai..." Advaita says this to which Ansh glares at her

while Raj and Simran don't understand what is going on...Suddenly both of them are confused as to what they should do.

" Ansh, what Advaita said is also correct...this is not a reason to refuse her...you can study even after marriage..." Simran says further on which Ansh sighs but he thinks of telling his other reason too to everyone.

" Mom I don't like girls." Ansh says this because he really hates girls, he doesn't even like to be friends with girls, so marriage is far away.

" Hwww bhai....iska Matlab aapko ladke pasand hai ? Aur aapki shaadi ke baad is ghar me bahu nahi, damaad aayega.." Suddenly out of nowhere Aarav says this and everyone gets shocked hearing this and Ansh glares at Aarav for talking nonsense.

" You keep quiet for now.." Ansh warns Aarav to which Aarav puts his finger on his mouth

" I will not marry this girl and this is my final decision and you all please tell her to stop her drama and go away from here..." Saying this Ansh doesn't stop there and goes back to his room

Simran, Raj and Aarav look at Advaita who is now looking sad but at the same time she is looking at Simran and Raj with some hope.

" Sorry beta but what you want cannot happen, we cannot force Ansh." Raj says sweetly

And Simran somewhere feels bad for Advaita because she knows how much courage she must have mustered to come here to say this, It is not easy for any girl to talk like this.

But there Advaita hears Raj's words and perhaps her last hope also got shattered today.

" It's okay uncle and please forgive me...I wasted your time like this...I am leaving, thank you for giving me your valuable time." Advaita says this with sadness and turns to leave from there

And Raj Simran looks at her and feels bad but they cannot do anything even if they wants to because no matter what, they cannot force Ansh in this matter, Though Simran also teases Ansh but in this matter she does not want to force her son, Yes she can explain things to him but she cannot force him.

Outside the house, Advaita is about to get into her car but suddenly someone stops her from behind, she turns and sees that it is Aarav

" I am Aarav...I am his younger brother." Aarav introduces himself to her when he comes close to her but Advaita doesn't say anything to him

" Do you really love bhai ?" Aarav asks her

"No, I am joking, that is why I came here to get insulted." Advaita answers him and Aarav realises that his question was useless...Obviously she really loves Ansh, that is why without caring about her respect, she came here once to try.

" By the way, if you don't mind, can I tell you something?" Aarav says to which Advaita nods yes.

" Ok you love bhai but it has hardly been a month since you two met...You should give Bhai some time. Nothing will be achieved by getting restless like this...if you love him then you should wait for him." Aarav gives her advice to which Advaita smiles sadly

" I can wait for him all my life, but right now I don't have the time..." Advaita says to which Aarav looks at her confused while Advaita continues

" My marriage has been fixed, I am getting married in a few days." Aarav is shocked at Advaita's words.

" And that is why I want to marry Ansh so that I can break that marriage, but today that hope has also been shattered...now I don't know what I will do...But now I know this much that if I don't get Ansh then I will die but will not marry anyone else." Aarav gets shocked at her words...what if she really takes some wrong step?

And before Aarav could say anything, Advaita is about to sit in her car but Aarav stops her again.

" Look, don't give up so easily, if you really love bhai then I will help you." Aarav tells her to which Advaita looks at him.

" My mom and dad are very sweet, you can try once or twice more but please don't think of doing anything wrong and yes, if you don't have any problem then give me your number...I like you as my bhabhi...I will convince mom and dad." Aarav tells her, upon which Advaita becomes hopeful again for a moment.

" give me your number so that I can contact you further...and yes, don't worry, you will become my Bhabhi." Aarav gives her a hope on which Advaita does not understand what to say, whether this will really happen or he is just giving her false consolation

But then without thinking much she gives her number to Aarav and Aarav gives it to his and then Advaita leaves from there.

Aarav sees her leaving and thinks he had promised her that he will help her so that she does not think of taking any wrong step but now how will he convince his grumpy brother for her.
