"What is the drama Mr. Chain Ramirez? Why suddenly, you working hard?" Hawi asked.

I just ignored him. I continue to bake pastries for the café. I pretend I didn't heard him.

"He rejected you?" he accused. I didn't replied. He hold my shoulders and force me to face him. "Talk now or I will go to him and ask him myself." he warned.

"He told me he's dating someone."

"So, the rumor, it's true..."

I nod. "Uhm. I need to keep my distance from now on." I said while my eyes starting to build tears.

He sighed. Then hug me tight. "Its okay, you will get over it soon." He let me cry on his shoulder while patting my back. "You will find more than him in a way.. Don't take this hard for you okay. From now on, free your heart from obsession to that man, you deserve better." he comfort me and calm me to his word.

A few more minutes. "Let me see your beautiful face..." he coped my face and wipe my tears. "See, your too beautiful plus your talented and smart... Everyone will go crazy on you." he joked.

I smile him back. "Your being exaggerated."

"At least I made you smile.."

"Thank you for always being there for me.." I said seriously.

"Your welcome sweetheart. I know, you do the same thing for me also." He continue to wipe my tears. Do you want to come with me?" he asked later.

"Where?"

"On a blind date."

"Are you planning to hired me as your chauffer?"

"No, I need a driver. If ever I decided to do some fun in the hotel..." he laugh.

"You, asshole!" I bursted.

He look at me as if he thinking of something. "Seriously Chain, did you ever think of trying to date a woman?" he asked suddenly.

"No. I don't find them interesting." I frankly said. "How about you, did you tried a man?" I know he's totally straight. I just want him to tease.

"Oh no! I prefer sexy and hot women. But on second thought, if you are willing to try something..." he lick his lower lip while look at me.

"Iwww! You Suck! Your not my type, player! I blurted out.

He bursted in laugh. "Hey, what are you thinking? I was just saying if you're willing to try woman I can give you one." he continue to laugh.

"Stop teasing me. It won't happen."

He hold his stomach to control his laugh. "Teasing you is the best! I really enjoying your company, with you, there's no dull moment for me. They might envy me for having you as my best friend Chain."

I look at him seriously. "A-are you not afraid of what other people think about you, about us..?"

"No. Why should I. They never knew the things we've been through together all this years. If their judgment base on me as a straight and you being a gay then fuck them! We don't need them Chain."

I agree to him. That's right, we don't have to please anybody. We both know our self better than other.

"Chain, we will remain friends no matter what. Even we find our own partner in the future. Don't be afraid of losing each other, that won't happen okey."

"Yes, noted. Mr. Hawi the player." then I laugh.
