Chapter 9

I let the employees free to decide what they want between party or outing as majority wins, here we are in a private resort near the beach. The company rented rooms for everyone and also tent for those in adventure. Since, we gonna spend three days here, the HR prepared programs and games to enjoyed.

"Sir, the lunch will be prepared soon. Would you like to rest first to your room? I will just call you when its ready." secretary Claire said.

"Okey, just make sure everyone will be served."

"Yes, Sir."

After the lunch, they start the program.

"May we call on our CEO to give a short speech to formally start this outing program." the host said.

I nervously walk toward the center to give my short message. "Good afternoon everyone... I'm sorry if I looked too nervous... They never informed me, about this speech today... I'm not prepared." everyone just laugh. "Well, I just want to see you all enjoying this trip, forget the work first at least for three days. Relax and let's make a happy memories together." I said. Then everyone clap. I heard some saying (Thank you Sir. You're so cool!)

On the evening, some of the employees made a bonfire and stand their tent, singing, joking, laughing each other. It is nice to see this view. I wonder if I leave the company in the future would they continue to do this and remembered me.

"Sir, do you want to join them?" secretary Claire asked.

"No, I'll make them ackward if I join them."

"Of course not, they would be grateful for joining them. Let's go!" secretary Claire suddenly drag me to join the employees.

"Guys, the CEO wants to join in singing." Secretary Claire said.

"Oh, No! I'm not a good singer. Your ears may go damage if you force me to sing." I said refusing. But to my surprised I heard them laughed loud.

"I never thought, I get the chance to hang out with the CEO. It's like a dream." one employee said.

"Am I look like hard to approach?" I asked.

"No, Sir. But in your position no one dare to go near you. It's a rare for executive to get down in their comfort zone. You know what I mean Sir?" other employee said.

"Yeah, your right. But for some reason is it easy and comfortable  working if your not ackward to the people around you. Who can appreciate and comment to your work easily. Maybe thats what I am.."

"We are so lucky to have you Sir. Let's work together for a long time and make your company more better in the future."

"Yes. Thank you also for giving me this chance to work with you all."

The jamming continued until late night. When I got in my room I laid my back to bed. I felt a little tipsy because of the beer they gave me. I closed my eyes and decided to rest a bit first before Im going to wash my self. I heard random knocks in the door for me to open my eyes again. I rise and open it without hesitation.

"W-who is.. What are doing here?" I asked Leam in shocked. Suddenly I'm sober up and my heart beat fast by seeing him in front of me.

"Am I not invited? But I saw the invitation in my table." he said.

"But I thought your not interested. You didn't confirmed your present."

Why smell alcohol?" he asked instead while making a face and  entered the room.

"I ask secretary Claire to add another room for you." I'm about to pick my phone to call my secretary.

"Don't bother someone who must be sleeping right now. I'm okey staying here with you tonight." he said. He put his luggage beside my luggage. And seated in the bed. "I hope you don't mind CEO Ramirez." he look at me waiting for my reply.

"W-why would I bothered. Unless it's uncomfortable for you."

"Of course not! I'm fine, it's settle then. Go wash yourself first you're so stingy in my nose."

"You! How dare you!" Im sulking went to bathroom.

When I get out of the bathroom I saw Leam talking to someone in his phone. He smile when he saw me, but continue talking in the phone.

"Yes, everything okey. Don't worry much. Umn... I know. I'll take care of him. Okey. Bye." I heard him saying. "Your done?" he asked and suddenly he come near me and his head stop in my neck. "Ummm.. smell good now."

I got surprised. "What are you trying to do?" I asked and stay away from him.

"Nothing. I just smelled you, your reaction as if you're going to get pregnant by smelling you." he teased. I blush and avoid his stare. "Your face now looks like tomato sweetheart." he pinch me in the cheek and went to bathroom while laughing.

Shit! This man is getting to my nerve again. How will I survive this night with him?

I picked the blanket and one pillow, I arranged them in the floor. I prepared to sleep in the floor than in Leam's side. I lay myself down and about to close my eyes.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

I ignored him and pretend sleeping. Suddenly, I felt myself lifted. Leam is carrying me!

"Hey! Put me down! You bastard!" I said panicked.

"Move more if you want me to throw you outside." he warned.

"Just put me down!"

"Not, until you said you're going to sleep beside me." when I didn't said anything, he start to turning around fast.

"Oh my gosh! Don't do that, I feel dizzy! Stop it! Leam! Stop! I shouted.

"Say it first. Say it and I'll stop." he ordered.

"You bastard! Okey. Stop it. Okey I will. I'll sleep with your side. Put me down now, I'm going to puke! Stop turning around!" I shouted. He stop while laughing. I saw how satisfied he his now. He put me in the bed and pick up the blanket and the pillow I fixed in the floor.

"Let's sleep, it's almost dawn. He said and lay down in my right side." And remember to call your mom tomorrow, she's worried about you. She said you never pick up her call." he said.

"Did she asked you to be here?" I asked.

"No. Is just happened that I'm already here when she called me a while ago." So, he's talking to my mom a while ago. He's really close to my parents. "Good night." he said while staring at me.

"Umn." I turned my back to him. I don't want him to see me blushing. I just hope I can sleep tightly tonight.
